"Fuck!" Leo leapt into the operating cabin. "Inject an inhibitor!"
A needle shot out, pierced Han Yanyan's body, and administered an inhibitor. But Han Yanyan's breakthrough could not be suppressed. Thanks to Tang Kè's help, her spiritual power source was fully formed, and her power had finally broken through!
With the ear-piercing sounds of 'crack crack crack crack crack', ice-like fissures appeared on the hatch cover of the cabin trapping Han Yanyan, spreading, splintering!
"Another one!" Leo yelled!
Another needle shot out, piercing Han Yanyan's skin. The speed of the cracking slowed visibly. Han Yanyan could feel it attempting to restrain her.
She had been an S-class power in the first round, and in the second, she had broken through to SS-class. She had been preparing for this moment for the past forty years!
The first time around, she had still been exploring her powers, but in the second round, she had begun training with sheer brute force right from the start. Everyone around her knew that her spiritual power was tough, savage, and violent! But what they hadn't known was that right from the beginning Han Yanyan had known that her path wouldn't be easy. She had been simulating the day that she would be shackled and obstructed!
The spread of the cracks slowed down for only a second before they abruptly accelerated once more!
The cultivation of spiritual power was never easy or relaxing, or there would not be so many people whose class would stagnate at the level of their second or even first breakthrough for their entire lives. Only the most diligent, hard-working, and resolute could achieve a breakthrough time after time!
Han Yanyan was a resolute and determined woman. Or perhaps it was better to say that she had been compelled into becoming resolute and determined by those unending series of worlds.
Boom! The hatch cover exploded, shattering in all directions!
Grabbing the bulkhead, Han Yanyan turned over and sat up. She retched, drained the fluids from her mouth and nose, choked once more, and then took a deep breath.
How long had it been since she had breathed real air? This was real air! O2 and CO2! Not data!
Han Yanyan choked and coughed, then grabbing onto the bulkhead, she made to rise.
The third needle ripped into her arm!
Gripping the needle, she tried to pull it out, but her body had not moved for a long time, and she felt weak and sluggish.
When she yanked the third needle free, it was still spraying a multi-coloured liquid. But then the fourth needle shot out, sinking into Han Yanyan's calf!
Han Yanyan reached to pull it out.
"Don't stop! Another one!" Leo screamed, watching the endless rolling data on the screen!
He was the master of the spacecraft and the administrator of the artificial intelligence system. His words were orders, and the system executed them without hesitation.
The fifth needle pierced Han Yanyan's spine.
At Leo's end, the line on the screen that had been rushing skyward finally came to a stop and began plummeting. Leaning back in his chair, Leo breathed a sigh of relief.
"Holy hell, this woman..." He unbuttoned his collar and wanted to curse, but didn't know what to say.
Leo had very complicated feelings about this woman, Han Yanyan. He had abducted and restrained many architects, men and women both, and every single one of them had been in the palm of his hand. Although they occasionally struggled, he had always been able to subdue them.

Only this woman, Han Yanyan, kept him on tenterhooks all day long! It was far too thrilling!
"What's going on?" the attendant asked.
"She had a spiritual power breakthrough," Leo said, tugging at his collar.
"Didn't you give her two injections of inhibitor last night?" The other asked, surprised.
Leo glanced at him resentfully. "It took five injections just now to suppress her."
The attendant's face changed. "Is she still alive?"
"She's alive, and all her vitals are normal." Leo replied, dissatisfied. "Do you think my genetic improver is some big box store product that anyone can buy? With her primitive genes, her meeting me was a stroke of luck. And the culture fluid I use for her is fancy shit that you can't even buy if you wanted to. My very own exclusive formula!"
Even though he said all this, he still hopped out from the operating cabin and walked quickly toward the door, speaking as he went.
The aide-de-camp followed him.
When the hatch opened, Leo entered, and so did the attendant. Leo glanced at him with a subtle expression.
A technician like him actually hated for others to be casually intruding on his turf. But the attendant looked back and raised his eyebrows - he still had a gun. Not to mention the two tough and fully armed soldiers in white military uniforms standing next to the operation cabin, guarding it like door gods.
Leo could only swallow his anger, raking his hands through his messy, bird's nest hair, and walk forward in a huff.
The attendant followed him through two cabin doors before arriving at a room.
Inside the room was quite a mess. The hatch cover that had been blown open was scattered everywhere in pieces, and the body culture fluid had also spilled out, leaving a large sticky mess on the ground. Han Yanyan, finally subdued by five inhibitors, had lost consciousness again and fallen out of the hibernation pod. She lay naked in the puddle of liquid.
Frowning, the attendant took off his white uniform jacket and threw it over Han Yanyan to cover her.
"What now?" he asked.
Leo looked awayLeo 'took back his line of sight', meaning that he was being a pervert and staring. Pointing to the intact hibernation pod next to the first, he said, "Put her in there first. I'll have to prepare her culture fluid again, and add more inhibitor. This woman, seriously, what a a headache! So fucking troublesome!"
He gave orders as he spoke. A line of cleaning robots came in and silently tidied up.
The attendant picked up Han Yanyan. She felt small and slender in his arms. He had just made his way to the other hibernation pod when he felt the front of his shirt suddenly tighten. When he looked down, he saw that the eyes of the woman in his arms were half-open and she seemed to be conscious. Her hand grasped weakly onto his lapel.
Her lips were even moving.
Save me.
The attendant froze.
He stared at Han Yanyan. Then he looked away, placed her into the new hibernation pod, and slammed the hatch.
