Chapter 61: Intel of Subject T

I heard my mother gasp as she was watching the news on TV.

"The world is scary nowadays. It seems that there's been a mass kidnapping of women and children in Japan."

Hearing that from her mouth, suddenly information came pouring in from my ears. I ran to my room to pick up my phone and check on the date. 5 June 2022

"Shit, That shifty fox came earlier than expected."

The Nine Tail Fox, also known as Tamamo-no-Mae, is always predicted to return. In previous regressions when I encountered her, She would lead a rampage for revenge against the heavens and humans for trapping her in the killing stone.

She was sadistic and cruel, enchanting her opponent, and following up by killing them grotesquely. Her rampage would always leave a trail of blood everywhere she goes. She got stronger as she absorbed the life essence out of humans, applying it to herself.

It has been at least 2 weeks since Tamamo-no-Mae escaped. So far, I have not heard anything from Red-dono. Even Inari-Sama was not able to pinpoint his location. It was as if he vanished in thin air.

Besides the disappeared of Red. The influence of the Tamamo-no-Mae was stronger. While the Tamamo-no-Mae feed on humans to fill up her belly. Her real power comes from influencing the human mind and spreading chaos. One of the reasons for the downfall of the Shang Dynasty was the foolish act of the King. He was bewitched by the fox spirit and driven to madness. When under the influence of the Nine-Tailed Fox, one would normally be driven to madness and commit atrocious acts before killing themself willingly to offer their soul to the beast. That is how she grows stronger.

After the first encounter with Subject T in the region of Nasu. The Subject had since then traveled North-West, towards the region of Nishigo and followed by Shirakawa. The villages located there were emptied out. it seemed that Subject T chose to devour all human that was in its path.

As a group of Veteran Omnyouji ventured into the forest to see if it managed to hide. One of the Excorcist's heads happens to come in contact with something. Looking up, it was a decapitated foot of a person. Upon alarming his team, they all looked up, only to find out where the villagers were. Or at least parts of their bodies went. There were different body parts all tied up and mangled in the vines of the trees. It was a very grotesque scene that even Senior Agents saw the events through the cameras of the exorcist all vomited and fell ill.

Traces of the Subject T were found, through the use of shikigami. The shikigami traces the magic energy used by Subject T and follows the magic imprint left behind whenever it uses its magic. It left Shirakawa and settled down in Ibaraki prefecture, making it her feeding spot.

She managed to bewitch a lot of the male residents and lure them to their doom. This marks the start of the missing people.

There were instant people, going around slaughtering random strangers in the streets. The witness that reported saw that the culprit's eye was dubbed "crazy eyes." Apparent, their iris shrunk to the size of a dot leaving everything else white. The witness who reported this, allegedly killed himself in public while smiling.

A Shikigami found its way tracing the Magical imprint left by Subject T. It stopped its track in the Hitachi Seaside Park. 

20 agents were deployed the capture/killing of the creature. 

However, it was a trap. The Subject planned a trapped and ensnared all their minds. While under the influence of the Nine-Tailed-Fox, the leader of the group, Veteran Omnyouji, Takeshi Gadou, called for backup to subdue the subject. 

When backup arrived, all 20 men who were deployed stood in a big circle. 2 arm lengths apart with their iris deformed. They were grinning widely and menacingly. And the moment they saw the backup, all 20 of them slit their throats simultaneous whiling still smiling. A sea of blood flooded the pool of blue flowers that were in Hitachi Seaside Park, coloring it in Red. 

The incident was dubbed: The Crimson Sea.

No one could find the missing people, but they found the bodies of the date people.

As I finished the report and look at the details of the incident: The Crimson Sea, I almost puked my lunch when the photos of the incident appeared next. That's when my phone vibrated. I checked who was calling me. 

Phone ID: Abe Kazue Calling

I picked up my phone then, "We need to go, there's information about Lee Jeong-Hun arriving in Japan, and sighted along with Tamamo-no-Mae." Kazue shouted while sounding very breathless. 

I grabbed my gears and head out while hearing details of what was happening.

As Sasaki left the branch office of the Abe Clan to make her way to Kazue, there was an update to the report on Tamamo-no-Mae.
