Chapter 7: The Mystery of the missing students

After that escape the other day.

Whenever the exchange student appears, you will never find me in the same room or the same area as that women.

That wolf looks like going to tear me to shreds. I rather not take any chances.

But in my attempts to save my own life, weird rumors started to spread among the school about me.

"Isn't that the guy, who ran out whenever Kazue enters a room?"

"Yea, I heard from a friend that he fell in head over heels for her that he couldn't stand being in the same room as her, that's why he ran away."

"I also heard just by being in her presence, he would have gotten diarrhea."

I creeper around and listened. How do you even mistaking running away for your life for falling in love on first sight?

Then there's another idiot:

"Red! She's mine, stop coming in between us!"

Kelson thought that he gained another rival in love.

"Sigh."

I have to watch out for my life and the only friend I have here is an idiot.

As the troublesome yet peaceful days passed by, something else happened at the same time.

Morning came, as I made my way from my dorm to school, I came across a flyer.

[3 Students Missing from Campus.]

Do you recognized any of these students? 1st student was reported missing on Last Thurs, 2nd Student was reported missing on Monday. The latest victim was reported missing yesterday.

Police investigation has been conducted in high alert but no evidence or clues could be found at all.

 

"The body seems to just disappeared. All the alibis was that they went to check out the old facility building back in the hill, with multiple witness confirming there was no way they could have leave other than the path the came in. Jeez, recently it's getting scary, kidnapping here?

Pretty sure that's a life imprisonment or death penalty here.

With that said, I make my way to school making nothing out of it.

As the engineering department building is located all the way back near the hill. It would take a rough 10 minute from the school entrance to back here.

Coincidentally, the old facilities Is right behind the engineering department. 

And sadly, I have to pass by the old facility buildings everything I go for class.

I can already feel my Unlucky sense tickling.

I went to class and meet up with Kelson and other company.

I got to be friends with 3 more classmates. Chase, a car addict. Jun Hao, a food addict and Hannah a kickboxing addict.

Hannah's the only girl in our class but she acts like a man out of all of us. She's like the Gorilla that already assumed the Alpha position.

Kelson on the other hand is the Kazue addict. Man's literally down bad that you could almost see the heart shape appearing above his head when he sees the exchange student.

I settled down and asked:

"Hey, y'all saw the flyer?"

"Yea pretty creepy given that it's just right behind us. Good luck Red, your dormitory is the only one out of all of us that is in that direction." Chase replied.

"Really? Shit, what are the chances that I'm the next victim?" 

Jun Hao add on, "To be honest, one of the victim was my secondary school classmate." 

"Damn that's kinda messed up." 

Kelson added "We could only pray that nothing happens to them. Hey wait, can I copy your homework before lesson starts."

We all looked at Kelson, and to each other, smiled at him and left him there alone, while we listen to the lecturer.

After a few hours, the lesson ended. Just before I got up and plan to head home.

Hannah replied with the dumbest looking face, saying: "Why, you scared? You little wussy." 

I muttered quietly " you damn Gorilla.", thinking I was safe.

The next thing I knew, I was waving a white flag lying flay on my face while Kelson is stopping Hannah's rampage and shouts:

"Run to the Chopper, Run!!!!

As Jun Hao and Chase dragged me out of the classroom, we all gave Kelson a thumbs up.

Your sacrifice won't be in vain my friend.

As I head back alone to my room. Right at the old facility building, I saw a lone animal spirit crying next to the big tree beside the building.

I pretended I didn't see and it and continued walking straight.

 However, the animal spirit caught me staring earlier and without hesitation, It flew to me and started tugging me with its teeth.

It was a turtle. Not just any turtle, it had like a jade on its shell. 

I try to shrug it off but it just dragged me with it's incredible strength and pull me all the way in the building. While in the building, He dragged me pass all the room except one. 

The infamous darkroom, used to develop the photographs.

While inside, annoyed by the fact a turtle dragged me in the area where all the victim disappears, it was really just an empty creepy room.

"See there's really nothing here."

Out of nowhere, my head got knocked off in the middle of nowhere and my head started bleeding from the temple.

As I try to catch my breath, the turtle flew infront of me pointing at the floor. 

From there I saw something dragging a girl and suddenly they just disappeared.

That answers the question how did the victim disappears.

Just then, my bag starts to vibrate and glow.

I rummage through my bag, and found the mask was inside it.

[Use it]

I gritted my teeth and sweat mixing with blood on my head, pouring down to my face. 

While the spirit turtle keeps circling around chasing me to do something. 

I thought to myself, do I really need to put myself in danger for the sake of others?

"It's not like they even done anything for me."

However seeing the turtle crying hysterically while still trying find it's owner's location. 

I cursed myself for putting myself in trouble and fit the mask in my face.

As I put on the mask, the surrounding around remains the same compared to last time where it transported me somewhere else. 

The gloves were also on my hand, ready to be used.

As I face forward, there was a huge door right infront of me. And in that door is a hole.

"Literally a portal right there." 

Without any thoughts I stepped forward. a

"Let's get this over with."

And poof. 

Off I go.
