The teacher, a tall old man with short white hair in a white suit and a silver cane with a three red scars on his left face. With his intimidating face along with his strict principles, he got even the most rowdiest of student's attention when confronting him. Though he retired from being an elite knight a decade ago, he immediately enlisted to being a teacher to nurture the next generations of monarchs and royals to combat.

"Turn your attention to me students! This is your first day practicing what you have learned in the last 4 years. Your task is to collect as many mana crystals and put them in your bag.

These beasts aren't that strong, as they will only have small white mana crystals on their forehead. If you land in danger of a demonic beast with a green mana crystal or more, then just blow the horn I have given.

I will come to your rescue, and you will be escorted out of the forest to a few minutes. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes sir."

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?"

"YES SIR!"

"I will now split you all into groups of 4. Once 2 boys along with 2 girls." The old man placed Amoria with Princess Betty Hess of the kingdom of Tyro, Prince Arran Stein of the kingdom of Valoco, and Prince Rowan Terrell from the kingdom of Chander.

Betty was blonde haired girl. Her unique long curly hair differentiated her from her siblings. She had eyes amber brown eyes that was a good pair with her hair. Arran had short black combed hair with emerald green eyes, with a little mustache growing.

Rowan had medium short brown hair which was usually messy. However he had it combed to appease the teacher. He had deep brown eyes, a very sleek and masculine face and stood 65 inches tall among everyone else.

They formally introduced themselves to each other, calling them with their titles. They all stood in a line separate from the others, waiting for the teacher to sort out the others.

"You may now enter the forest. If you want to find leave then just follow along the dirt path. Come back before sunset!" he said.

...

It had been a while since they have entered, yet not a single demon was to be seen. Amoria felt an eerie silence in the forest. She had enough experience to tell that something was wrong, and she made sure that her team knew that.

"It's too quiet."

"Too quiet?" asked Arran.

"Yes. By now we should encounter at least 2 or 3 beast already."

"Well the teacher did say that this was a forest for us to practice right?"

"Yes?"

"Well, don't you think that this place would have less the..."

The sound something move along the trees grabbed everyone's attention. Some of leaves fell on Betty's long curly blonde hair, with one landing on her button nose leaned up. They looked up, to see a black monkey with a white skull with horns leaning backwards as it's face.

It's eyes oozed white as it's forehead contained a white mana-crystal. It looked to be three feet tall, with arms strong and muscular, with hands holding 3 fingers with a strong grip that could grab anything. On the front of it's face showed it's 4 sharp teeth that it could bit off human flesh in an instant.

It took a large breath. Amoria quickly fired a simple holy spell that instantly killed it off. The group themselves were impressed. Not at her knowledge of holy spells as it was mandatory to learn, it was the fact she had reacted to the creature before it could call in it's buddies.

"That was some quick thinking Princess Amoria." Rowan complimented.

"Thank you Prince Rowan."

The group walked up to the dead corpse of the demon that fell to the ground to examine it.

"It looks to be a singefur. They usually go in packs and never stray away from the pack. This one seems to have heightened hearing, and might have sensed us approaching and went to look."

"We should take care of the pack first then. Prince Rowan, take the crystal please." Arran Stein replied. After Rowan ripped it off from his forehead, the group walked over where they suspected the pack stayed. The singefur came from what they considered their south.

They sneaked around. Looking for where the singefurs would be. Arran came and looked up on a rather large tree, with many thick branches holding many singefurs holding onto them. They have spotted the demons, and now they were ready to take action.

The beasts haven't seem to notice the group trespassing on their territory. They all gathered up behind a tree, kneeling down and whispering to each other to make a plan to kill the demons and collect their mana-stones.

"Alright, how do we go on taking them down?" asked Betty.

"Considering they are packed together, I propose I fire an explosion spell while you all watch as I easily defeat them with one blow." Rowan proposed.

"That is a really bad idea Prince Rowan." Arran replied.

"Why so?"

"For an explosive spell to be effective, it would need a lot of potent mana. It could also destroy the mana-crystals. We need to think of a better way to take them out. I propose..."

Arran's suggestion was rudely interrupted by the sounds of spells being casted on the other side of the tree. They looked to see Amoria, holding her left hand up and on the view of the singefurs. At first they thought she was dull at attempting to take down

Amoria casted a spell that temporarily froze the demons in place. Unable to move, she picked them off one by one, firing more holy spells with pinpoint accuracy. As the life left their bodies, their remaining corpses fell off the branches of the trees and fell down on the ground making a large thud.

After they all lay dead, she went over to pick up the mana-stones, while the others stood flabbergasted at what had just happened.

"Alright, let's continue." Amoria said.

The day continued with Amoria mowing down the beasts while the others watch in amazement. They did get to practice their magic in some situations, when Amoria was dealing with a much larger threat.

By sunset, they had managed to fill up all their bags to the brim with mana-stones. Most were white, but there was even some green stones collected as well. Unbeknownst to Amoria, her team members frowned at her, whispering to each other of their thoughts and feelings.
