[▪︎15th July 2003▪︎]

Hovering calmly, my arms crossed beneath my chest with my long hair fluttering with the chaotic wind, I focus my [Hyper-Awareness] on the bubbling steaming spot on the distorted ocean surface covered with large flaming pieces of rocks and debris—some of them the size of towns.

Expanding it downwards, I find Battle Beast's figure in no time and upon seeing his figure, my eyebrow cocks in surprise.

He is sinking freely towards the sea bed, fully unconscious.

His armor and every piece of protective article are in total tatters, the water pressure is the only thing making them continue to stick to his body but even with that, they are crumbling the further he sinks.

His weapons aren't anywhere close to him. Surprisingly, he's barely injured.

He's tainting his surroundings with his thick red blood flowing out of wounds located on his head and torso but apart from that there's nothing, no limb is even broken.

Hmm, he was just hit by the full weight or force of a whole country and there's barely any damage. Now, this is interesting.

If he didn't already injure himself, there's practically no chance this attack would've drawn out blood.

He's only unconscious because the combination of the overwhelming pain of my psychological attacks, the pain from the asteroid impact, and the shock were too much for his already stressed mind.

...His mutation really did wonders for his whole being.

I notice a subtle spatial fluctuation in the air and upon turning to one of the drifting large pieces of rocks, with a weird flash of light, figures appear.

The figures are the Guardians, Brit, and some amazing superheroes. All of them are dressed in their usual apparel.

"Prime, what the hell happened here!?"

Brit shouts in mild trepidation as he and those present glance around at their immediate surroundings—the sky filling up with the dark wavy smoke from the blazing pieces around them, the tumultuous sea, and the mildly boiling center of all this slightly covered in gradually disappearing steam—while trying to stay on their feet atop the unstable piece.

Sigh, Cecil...

"Nothing much, just dealing with someone. Why are you guys here?"

I answer mysteriously and ask all of them, locking eyes, especially with the Guardians and Brit as those capable of flight take it to the sky.

"After you left, we followed your orders and went back to the base.

"The moment we were about to monitor your situation via the satellite, the alarms blared and immediately all of the satellite's focus switched to outer space and it's there we saw [Bolis Q] heading directly for American waters.

"Cecil popped up with his people just a few seconds later and informed us about the situation of your fight.

"They couldn't figure out the cause, whether it is you or the villain so just in case, he contacted the available heroes and sent us here to verify and in the worst case, help you.

"But it's clear you don't need any assistance..."

Robot articulates—glancing around—as he and those capable of flight stop a few feet away from me. The others just give me a weird look furnished with a tinge of fear and shock.

Those still standing on the swaying piece flash me the same look except Brit whose brows just narrow as he crouches and continues observing the place.

"...Wait, this place is supposed to be Barr Island. I remember camping here during the Second World War. Now it's gone."

Brits comments dryly—his voice a little weird—as he stands up and sets his widened eyes on my figure, making the rest, even some of the Guardians look at me in shock.

"Don't make a big deal out of it. As you can see, I'm alright so you can kindly excuse yourselves from here. I still have work to do."

I wave my hand nonchalantly and with a thought, I create a portal right beside the floating piece while the water gradually calms.

Gesturing with my eyes, towards the portal, I nod at the Guardians and after receiving their response and reverence-filled eyes and faces, I turn back to focus on the now still center—now devoid of any bubbling or steam.

"Look Prime——"

Brit tries to add something again but with an upward explosion of water, a large figure bursts out from the center.

<Roar!>

Right on time...

A dark smile draws on my face as I watch Battle Beast settle on one of the nearby floating pieces.

His chest moves upwards and downwards, clutching his healing but bloody stomach as he stares at me deeply with his icy blue eyes brimming in maddening rage.

The kind that overshadows reason...

"You've dishonored this glorious battle with your pitiful tricks! I'll tear your heart out and feast upon it as it still beats then I'll rip the flesh out of your body and cover my boots with it to shame the very essence of your existence.

"Your bones, I'll give to the Borgs of Sandark to feat upon and the rest of your body I'll gift to the Wryms of Vromos to devour!

"Forgotten you shall be after I'm done with you! "

He bellows with so much anger and fury that it makes the weak-willed among those present flinch in apparent fear as he stretches forth his hand and almost instantaneously, his gilded mace bursts out from the water into his hand.

"See you later guys."

I remark calmly as my perception starts slowing and the moment Battle Beast pounces towards me with a mighty roar, everything around me slows to a stop.

..He's slower, and that's good.

Seeing him coming towards me at moderately fast speeds, I conjure up a portal in front of him. His eyes flashing with surprise—unable to dodge—the portal instantly swallows him up and disappears.

Sucking in a lot of oxygen, I create another portal in front of me and calmly float into it while augmenting my [Bio-Electric Aura] with my [Psychokinesis].

My feet fall on sand, red rough sand expanding or stretching everywhere over the horizon.

The sand is giving off smoke all over as if burning or on fire, the smoke waving towards the sky.

The sky above is glowing a menacing deep red, redder than blood with no clouds present on the scary horizon. There isn't any wind present.

Kneeling on scorching sand is Battle Beast holding his neck, his face contorting with pain or struggle as the air within him slowly extinguishes.

The moment he sees my causal figure, he removes one hand from his neck and stretches it towards me, his eyes flashing with rage and indignation.

...Bringing a sick grin to my face.

Welcome to Bermoth Thokk, your personal hell...
