The entire cafe was silent when they heard that shout.
Everyone’s gaze was focused on that black and gold debit card.
Their faces carried shocked expressions.
“Wow!” They exclaimed in surprise when their brains finally processed what they had just heard.
“The Black Gold card from Huaxia Bank? How can that be? It must be fake!” Everyone exclaimed, not ready to believe it.
The students there knew what the Black Gold card was, and Huaxia Bank was the largest bank in Huaxia. To obtain a Black Gold card, one needed to have at least a billion yuan in the bank.
The Black Gold card was the sign of a billionaire.
However, that kid did not look like a billionaire at all! The clothes were too plain, and everything should not cost more than a few hundred yuan. His phone was an old model from two or three years ago.
Most importantly, he was too young. He looked to be about the same age as the students there.
At that age, how would he have that much money in the bank, if not that he had ultra-rich parents?
“That must be a fake!” The people discussed.
Tang Bowen smirked coldly and said sarcastically. “I say, Younger Cousin Brother, don’t you have any shame? You think you can forge a fake bank card and we won’t figure it out?”
“That’s right!” The girl next to him said, “Bowen, your younger cousin brother is too low-class and stupid! He’s flaunting in front of us with a fake debit card.”
Everyone looked at Tang Hao with condescension.
The waitress hesitated as she held the card in her hand.
“You can try swiping it to see if it’s a fake!” Tang Hao said calmly.
“Oh,” The waitress replied. She went to the counter and swiped the card. Then, her eyes went wide and she exclaimed, “It went through! It’s a genuine card!”
She looked at the Black Gold card in her hand with extreme incredulity.
The cafe descended into deathly silence again.
The people who were watching gleefully at the ensuing drama were all stunned. The condescending smiles on their faces froze.
Loud gulps were heard. That was the sound of everyone collecting swallowing.
They turned stiffly to look at the boy sitting next to the window.
“Oh my god! That’s a real card! He’s a billionaire!”
Everyone’s gaze on him turned from condescension to respect and envy. The girls’ eyes sparkled and regarded him differently.
“Look, he’s actually quite handsome!” Many girls whispered among themselves as they looked at Liu Bingyao with envy.
Tang Bowen fell on his seat. He was totally confused.
“How could it be… How could it be…” He mumbled to himself as though his soul had left his body.
He could not believe it. That younger cousin brother of his was but a mere delivery boy. How was he a billionaire? That was too nonsensical!
Everyone around Tang Bowen was also wide-eyed and slack-jawed. They turned to regard him curiously.
“What’s going on, Bowen? Didn’t you say that he’s from a mountain village? Why is he so rich?” The young woman beside him said.
“How would I know! He’s always been a poor loser!” Tang Bowen roared. His expression looked vicious.
His mind raced to look for any excuses to explain how the poor loser Tang Hao could have so much money.
“It must be fake! I know, you must’ve picked up the card on the ground,” Tang Bowen stood up and pointed a finger at Tang Hao.
“Is that so?” Tang Hao glanced coldly at him. “You’d better look carefully!”
Then, he stood up and walked to the counter. He keyed in the PIN and completed the transaction.
The waitress looked emotional when she held the card. It was a genuine Black Gold card! It was the first time that she had seen one in her life.

She respectfully handed the card back to Tang Hao with both of her hands.
Tang Hao took the card and flicked it in his hand. “Anything else that you’d like to say, Cousin Brother?” He said to Tang Bowen.
Tang Bowen shuddered and his mind went blank.
“How could this be…” He mumbled. All color was drained from his face and he sat down gingerly.
The cafe erupted in activity again.
Everyone’s gaze toward Tang Hao was scorching.
Tang Bowen’s friends were red-faced and ashamed of themselves. They had mocked the guy for being poor earlier, but now they had discovered that he was a billionaire. It was a slap on their faces.
Tang Hao returned to the seat with two cups of coffee in his hands.
Liu Bingyao regarded him curiously with her big, beautiful eyes.
“What’s up?” Tang Hao asked curiously.
Liu Bingyao smiled. “It’s nothing. I feel that you’ve changed a lot. Every time I see you, I find out something surprising about you.
“Didn’t you say that you were starting a company? It should already be up and running, right?”
Tang Hao nodded. “It’s been operational since a while ago. It’s doing not bad.”
“What do you do?” Liu Bingyao asked.
“Healthcare products. Our first product is a weight-loss tea called Bizhi. We’ll have more products coming soon,” Tang Hao said.
“Bizhi?” Liu Bingyao was stunned when she heard the name. “I’ve heard of it, isn’t that the miraculous weight-loss tea that’s all over the Internet?”
“Right, that’s the one!” Tang Hao said.
“Wow!” Liu Bingyao exclaimed and her eyes sparkled. “I’ve heard that the weight-loss tea has been flying off the shelves! I have a dorm mate who’s been drinking the tea and she lost more than twenty pounds in a few days. That’s too amazing.”
The people around them discussed excitedly when they overheard the conversation.
Many of the girls there have heard of Bizhi Weight-Loss Tea before.
“So he’s the boss of Haotian Co. Ltd.! He’s so young!” The girls exclaimed.
They had thought that he was from a wealthy family, but now they knew that he had built his own wealth from the ground up.
Tang Bowen’s face became even paler when he heard that.
He could not believe that the poor loser younger cousin brother of his had started a company, made a lot of money, and achieved a status that even he could not attain.
Tang Hao smiled. “The sales are not bad indeed. It’ll be better in the future!”
Liu Bingyao smiled coyly. “Congratulations, Boss Tang!”
Tang Hao broke into laughter.
Then, the two chatted happily. Tang Hao recounted the events that happened in Westridge District, while Liu Bingyao talked about her college life.
The intimacy displayed by the couple had caused the people in the cafe to look at them with envy.
News soon traveled around the campus. Many male students flocked to the cafe to see the bastard that had caught the beauty queen’s attention.
With more and more people arriving at the cafe, Tang Hao and Liu Bingyao felt that they should move somewhere else. They left the cafe and walked toward the campus exit.
Their presence outside caused an even bigger commotion.
“Oh my god! Isn’t that Liu Bingyao, the beauty queen?”
“F*ck me! Who’s that guy? How dare he dress up like a loser and walk alongside the beauty queen?”
Many male students were indignant.
The situation subsided once they were out of the campus.
They walked along the road. In the evening, Tang Hao bought her dinner and sent her back to her dorm.
