Tang Hao narrowed his eyes and examined the girl in front of him.
She was also a teenager of eighteen or nineteen years old. She was extremely beautiful. Her military uniform made her stand out and gave her a unique charm.
He could sense qi in her body. She was in the middle period of the State of Qi Channeling.
Tang Hao was surprised to discover that. Not many people of that age had such a high cultivation base. Perhaps she had a fortuitous encounter too.
He regarded her curiously.
She was the first cultivator he met in the Agency, after Taoist Master Qian Ji.
He was also wondering what the urgency was about, and why General Bai did not contact him.
When he first joined the Agency, Ol’ Bai told him that he only needed to send them several pills each month. He would not be tasked with any missions.
‘Whatever. I should go along with her. Maybe there’s really something important!’ Tang Hao thought.
He nodded at her.
“I’ll have to go now. There’s something urgent waiting for me!” He turned around and told Liu Bingyao and Cao Fei.
Cao Fei’s jaw dropped when he heard that.
“You’re serious, Brother Hao?”
Earlier, they were wondering if that beautiful girl had found the wrong person, but now there was no doubt. That made them even more shocked.
“You’re my idol, Brother Hao!” Cao Fei said emotionally. He nearly fell on his knees.
He was full of respect for Tang Hao for being a self-made rich person. The newfound information that Tang Hao was involved in the military made him want to lay prostrate.
Tang Hao coughed lightly and did not say anything.
“You’d better go!” Liu Bingyao said softly.
The beautiful female soldier turned around and walked toward the underside of the helicopter.
Tang Hao followed her closely.
Many people were whispering as they walked. A thousand pairs of eyes were focused on the two people.
Most of them were still in a daze, unable to believe that the beautiful girl was there for Tang Hao.
They could not believe that Tang Hao had a title in the military either.
Most of the boys looked at him enviously.
All the boys dreamed of fighting in battle and bringing glory to their nation. It would be even better if they had a girl who fell in love with them.
The scene in front of them was exactly like their dreams.
“Too awesome! He’s just too awesome!”
“He’s godlike!”
They lamented.
Meanwhile, the girls’ eyes sparkled when they saw that.
Tang Hao was no longer a country bumpkin with poor taste. Instead, he had been merely keeping a low profile.
That was even cooler!
They shrieked excitedly.
A rope ladder was dropped from the helicopter. The beautiful female soldier climbed up first. Tang Hao climbed up the ladder against the strong winds and entered the helicopter.
“Go!” The beautiful female soldier shouted at the pilot.
The helicopter started flying away.
Tang Hao leaned out of the helicopter and waved at the people below.
In the morning sun, the pitch-black helicopter darted away like a falcon. Eventually, it was nothing more than a black dot.
The noise of the propellers became softer and softer until they could no longer hear it.
The students remained rooted in their spots, looking at the sky.
“Cool! That was too cool!”
“That’s the real definition of coolness!”
Everyone exclaimed.

The parking lot was a noisy mess.
“Brother Hao is a true legend!” Cao Fei exclaimed emotionally.
“What do you think Brother Hao does in the military, and what is he going to do? ‘The Agency needs you’. That sounds so dramatic! I’m about to lose my mind!”
“Don’t tell me that Brother Hao is a secret agent like 007? Perhaps he had received a mission to save the country!”
“Haha, what are you thinking? Save the country… maybe he’s saving the world!”
Liu Bingyao could not help it but smile when she overheard their conversation.
Her eyes remained transfixed to the horizon.
…
The sun broke through the clouds, and its golden rays spilled across the land.
A helicopter was flying in the sky.
The view from the helicopter was dazzling.
Tang Hao sat in the helicopter. The beautiful female soldier sat in front of him.
“Couldn’t you have just given me a phone call?”
Tang Hao did not know what to say. The excessive gesture had attracted too much attention to him.
The beautiful girl sat in front of her. Her expression was as cold as a glacier.
She glared coldly at Tang Hao. “This is faster.” Her tone of voice was just as cold as her expression.
Tang Hao rolled his eyes. “Then… couldn’t you have used a less conspicuous helicopter?”
“I like this one!” She said tersely.
Tang Hao had no reply to those simple words.
The atmosphere became awkward.
“So… what’s your name? What’s the matter? Is it urgent?” Tang Hao asked after a long silence.
“My name is Mu Xintong!” She said while glaring at him.
She paused for a while and continued, “What’s the matter? Of course it’s urgent! It’s a long story. You’ll be briefed when you get there.”
After that, she shut her mouth.
Tang Hao had no other choice but to save his questions for later.
Half an hour later, the helicopter returned to an airbase. They transferred to a military jet and flew toward the northwest corner of Huaxia.
The jet arrived at a military base around noon.
A person was waiting for them on the runway as they got off the plane. He was a short and fat man in his fifties. His hair was graying and his face was round.
He quickly stepped forward and eagerly shook Tang Hao’s hands.
He seemed emotional, and his eyes were sparkling as he looked at Tang Hao.
Tang Hao was confused about what was going on.
“You are…?”
“Oh, pardon my manners! I forgot to introduce myself. My Taoist name is Fu Yun. You must be Tang Hao! Oh, you’re a rare talent!”
Fu Yun showered praise and flattery on Tang Hao as he shook his hands. Tang Hao was getting dizzy.
He smiled awkwardly and pulled his hands away.
“What’s the matter, Taoist Master Fu Yun?” Tang Hao asked seriously.
Taoist Master Fu Yun’s expression immediately became serious. He turned to his side and gestured. “We’ll talk inside!”
They went into a room in the military base.
The room was dimly lit. A map was projected onto a wall. It displayed the border between Huaxia and Hindustan.
“We summoned you here today because no one else can succeed in this mission, Comrade Tang Hao. Also, this involves Taoist Master Qian Ji. I heard that you’re very close to Mao Mountain, so you are the best candidate for this mission.
“General Bai also agreed to it. That’s why we sent Comrade Mu to fetch you here!”
Tang Hao’s expression changed drastically when he heard that.
‘Related to Taoist Master Qian Ji?
‘Don’t tell me… he’s in trouble?’
