Chapter 829: I Am Ritian

“Get lost! Why are you following us?”

“Is there something wrong with your brain, you brat?”

The people were cursing at first.

However, as the beasts got closer and closer, they started pleading.

“Uncle! Master! Can I call you my master? Can’t you run somewhere else and not follow us? Do you hold a grudge against us?”

They were already starting to cry.

In their hearts, they were already cursing that brat to hell.

Tang Hao did not say a word and continued to run forward.

A strong wind surrounded him.

He slowly closed in on them. The people turned around and widened their eyes in disbelief.

How could that kid be so fast?

They watched helplessly as the kid closed in on them bit by bit. Then, he caught up with them and soon outran them.

They were dumbstruck.

When they turned back to look again, they were scared out of their wits.

The beasts were almost on them. Their ferocious appearance was terrifying.

Those people almost fainted.

Very quickly, the beasts caught up to them and tore them into pieces.

Meanwhile, Tang Hao continued to run.

Whenever he saw a group of people, he immediately ran over there.

“F*ck! Don’t come over!”

“You… what do you want?”

The people cursed angrily, and the forest was in chaos.

Those people were incredibly frustrated. Did they offend someone to deserve such bad luck?

That kid was wearing strange clothes and provoked the beasts from deep inside the forest. What was he, if not a lunatic?

They ran as fast as they could.

However, they could not outrun that kid or the beasts. Some people tried to fly, but they were hit by flying trees from behind. They screamed in agony and fell down.

Tang Hao led the beasts to the edge of the forest.

There were many people on the outskirts. When they heard the commotion, they were all stunned.

“Oh my god! It’s a herd of beasts! Run!”

“Dammit, who is that idiot? How dare he provoke the beasts and run this way? Don’t let me find out who he is, or I’ll kill him!”

They were both shocked and angry. They cursed, packed up their backpacks, and ran for their lives.

As they ran, they startled even more people.

“Run! The beasts are here!”

In an instant, the entire forest was in an uproar.

Everyone was running wildly, desperately trying to escape.

It was a spectacular scene.

Many people fell victim to Tang Hao’s running. Eventually, he saw the main group in front of him.

He knocked someone out, stripped him of his clothes, and put them on himself. Then, he retrieved a wig and put it on his head. Immediately, he blended in with the crowd around him.

“Perfect!”

Tang Hao took out a mirror and smiled.

At that moment, several people were staring at him blankly.

They were about to open their mouths and shout.

Tang Hao’s gaze turned cold. He flicked his wrist. Several golden jade swords flew out and pierced those people’s throats.

Those people were not even in the State of Foundation Establishment, and they were not a match for Tang Hao.

After killing those people, Tang Hao rushed forward and caught up with the main group.

“Phew! That was too scary!” He shouted.

A burly man next to him glanced over and said with lingering fear in his heart, “Yeah! It’s too scary! Those are the masters of the mountain! No one dares to go anywhere near them, but today, some idiot decided to provoke them.”

As he said that, he gnashed his teeth, and his eyes seemed to be spewing fires of anger.

“If I find out who it is, I’ll definitely chop him into mincemeat!” He gritted his teeth and said, “Then I’ll feed him to the dogs!”

“That’s right! How detestable!” Tang Hao nodded and agreed.

“I know, right?” The burly man said again.

The two of them became friends and started to curse at that “bastard.”

“Nice to meet you, Brother! My name is Zhao Liu, but they call me Ol’ Zhao Liu. I’ve been doing this for many years. What’s your name?” The person asked.

Tang Hao hesitated for a moment and said, “My name is Tang Ritian!” (TN: The Chinese character for “Hao” can be split into two characters “Ri” and “Tian.” It’s a euphemistic way of saying “screw the heavens.”)

“Ritian?”

Zhao Liu’s well-built body trembled. He was filled with respect.

“Ritian, what a wonderful name! It’s amazing! We qi practitioners must have the spirit of opposing fate. That’s an extraordinary name, Brother!”

Zhao Liu cupped his fists.

Tang Hao opened his mouth but could not say a word.

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes and laughed. “Brother Liu, your name is amazing too. Six is a lucky number!”

Zhao Liu was overjoyed. He thought that he and Brother Ritian could get along really well.

The two of them chatted while running.

“Brother Ritian… No, I should just call you Brother Tang. How long have you been here?”

“Not long ago. I just arrived yesterday, and I’m already here in the mountains. I’m not familiar with the area!” Tang Hao lied candidly.

“Oh, so that’s how it is! It doesn’t matter. I know this place very well, and I’ll bring you around,” Zhao Liu thumped his chest and said enthusiastically.

“Thank you, Brother Liu!”

Tang Hao was delighted. He was wondering how he should gather information when that Brother Liu volunteered to help.

He sensed Zhao Liu’s cultivation base and was relieved to find out that he was only in the early period of the State of Foundation Establishment. That would not be a threat to him.

The two of them ran in the middle of the group.

All around them, people were cursing that bastard who had provoked the beasts. Tang Hao did the same, and no one suspected anything.

At the edge of the forest, the beasts stopped, circled around, and went back to their nests.

In an instant, everyone heaved a sigh of relief and cheered.

“Now where did that bastard go?” Someone shouted.

Everyone tried to search for the culprit.

Tang Hao also pretended to join in the search and said, “That bastard… should be dead!”

The other people were surprised when they heard that.

“That’s true! So many people died, so it’s not surprising that he died too!”

The group decided to call off the expedition and head back to town.

Tang Hao turned around and frowned as he looked into the forest.

This was going to be troublesome!

The exit was near the nest of those huge beasts. How was he going to return? Even if he did, he would be chased again on his future trips.

No, he had to think of a way to kill these beasts!

However, those beasts were too powerful. It would be difficult for him to do it alone.

Tang Hao turned around and followed the main group.

Along the way, he frowned from time to time and bit his lips as he fell into deep thought.

“Should I organize a hunting party? Or should I get the beasts to fight among themselves? Hmm, that doesn’t sound bad!”

Tang Hao muttered to himself from time to time.

After leaving the forest and walking for a while more, a small town appeared in front of them. At the town entrance was a stone slab on which read “Nanping Town.”
