It was a dark and windy night.
East Peak Mountain was deserted. Most of the people had left the place with the sect leader and the elders to hunt down the thief.
Those who stayed behind were either low-level disciples or janitors.
Everything was peaceful and quiet, just as usual.
Suddenly, a dull thud could be heard somewhere on the mountain, followed by a muffled groan.
Several more thuds were heard along the mountain path. The disciples walking on the path, meditating in their rooms, and even those in the outhouse fell down one after another.
Thud! Another hit.
A disciple who was relieving himself was hit in the back of the head. With a muffled groan, he fell forward and into the latrine pit.
“How tragic!”
Tang Hao looked down and cringed.
He was dressed in black and held a thick wooden club in his hand.
He continued to sneak his way up the mountain. Whenever he encountered someone, he knocked them out with the club and dragged them into the grass.
“This is quite exciting!”
Tang Hao muttered happily. He tightened his grip around the wooden club.
He thought that it was quite fun to sneak around and knock people out with a club.
His goal at East Peak Mountain was to raid the treasure vault.
Now that the powerful characters of East Peak Mountain were out, that was the best time to rob them.
Coincidentally, on the other side, there was also a black shadow moving up the mountain with a thick wooden club in hand. Every time he met someone, he would hit them with it.
“Hahaha! This is too exciting! This is exactly how it should feel!”
That person was very excited. His eyes were sparkling.
“I’m coming, treasures!”
He excitedly rubbed his club and rushed up the mountain. According to what he knew, the treasure vault of East Peak Mountain was at the summit.
Now that the most powerful characters were out, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The two individuals made their way up the mountain and eventually met each other in front of the main hall.
They froze when they saw each other and stared at the opposite party for a long time.
‘What’s going on?’
Tang Hao was confused. The guy in front of him was wearing black clothes that obscured his face and had a thick wooden club in his hand. Why did that person look like him?
Subconsciously, he stole a glance at the club in his hand and then looked at the one in front of him.
‘Mine is thicker and bigger!’
For some reason, that thought appeared in his mind.
The other person was also confused.
‘What’s going on? Why is that guy dressed like me? What the hell? He’s also carrying a wooden club, and it’s thicker and bigger than mine!
‘That is a blatant imitation!’
Liu Heihu was furious.
He hated those people who imitated him. That would tarnish his reputation.
“Hey! Who are you? Why are you imitating me? Aren’t you shameless!” He scolded angrily in a low voice.
“Who’s imitating you? Who are you?” Tang Hao said, feeling somewhat baffled.
“Ha! Still pretending? You’re imitating me, Liu Heihu, the Black Tiger! See this? I’m the real deal and you’re just a fake.”
As he said that, Liu Heihu pointed at his pants pocket.
Tang Hao looked at it carefully. “Isn’t that a cat?”
Liu Heihu was stunned. Then, he stomped his feet angrily. “Dammit, are you blind? This is clearly a tiger, a proud, handsome, and vicious tiger!”
Tang Hao rolled his eyes and said, “Meow!”
“Meow meow!” Liu Heihu replied without thinking.
Then, his face turned red.
“See, you’re a cat!” Tang Hao said.
“F… f*ck you, you bastard! How dare you insult me and trample on my dignity? I… I’ll kill you!” Liu Heihu’s eyes were spitting fire.

What a detestable figure!
Just as he was about to get physical, the sound of footsteps came from inside. “Who is it? Can’t you guys keep it down?”
Someone walked out.
Instantly, the expressions of both of them changed. They could tell that the person was quite powerful.
“Shall we cooperate?” Liu Heihu shot him a glance.
“Sure!” Tang Hao nodded.
Ten seconds later, that person walked out. He was an old man in a white robe. He walked to the entrance, looked around, and saw a disciple sprawled on the ground not far away.
“Bad news!” His expression changed drastically.
He prepared to rush forward.
At that moment, two strong gusts of wind suddenly came down from the roof.
He was caught by surprise and did not have the time to react.
Thud! Thud! His eyes glazed over and he fell to the ground.
“Another one down. Awesome!”
Liu Heihu laughed heartily. “He’s a peak period cultivator too. He must be the elder guarding the treasure vault. Shall we go in together, Brother?”
As he spoke, he looked at Tang Hao warmly.
“Sure!” Tang Hao nodded.
The two of them looked at each other and laughed, but they were both scheming in their hearts.
‘That bastard not only imitated me, he even insulted me. I absolutely can’t let him get away with this. However, it’s not going to be easy to open the treasure vault alone, so it’s nice to have an extra pair of hands for now.
‘Once the vault’s open, hmph! It’ll be the end of that bastard.’
Liu Heihu thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Tang Hao was also thinking of the same thing.
“Hahaha! Looks like we’re fated, Brother! It takes some fighting to get to know each other better. I hope you don’t mind that little episode earlier!” Liu Heihu said with a warm smile.
“Don’t worry about it!” Tang Hao also laughed.
The two of them sneaked into the main hall and searched around, each with their own ulterior motives. Eventually, they found the location of the treasure vault.
“As expected of East Peak Mountain, the security measures are quite tight, but that’s nothing to me! Watch closely, Brother. I’ll take care of the security formation outside, then we’ll blow up the vault door together.”
After saying that, Liu Heihu walked toward the vault door with his complex footwork.
He fiddled with the locks for a while before calling Tang Hao over. Then, they started to blast the vault door together.
After about twenty minutes, the two of them finally broke the door open.
The moment the door opened, a dazzling light could be seen from inside.
“Wow!”
The two of them widened their eyes, and their faces were full of astonishment.
The treasure vault was very big, and each shelf was filled with objects.
“Treasure! Treasure! All of you are mine!” Liu Heihu’s eyes sparkled, and his whole body trembled with excitement.
Then, killing intent rose in his heart. He was going to kill that bastard.
However, before he could make a move, he felt a gust of wind behind his head.
Thud!
He felt dizzy. Then, his body swayed and he fell down.
“F*ck! That guy is even more cunning than me!”
That was his last thought.
Then, he passed out.
“Think you can trick me? No chance!” Tang Hao waved the club in his hand and sneered.
He wanted to kill that guy, but he suddenly thought of a better idea.
“I’m sorry, Comrade, I’ll have to make you a scapegoat!”
As he said that, he crouched down and patted the man’s shoulder with a pitiful look on his face.
Then, he stood up and started to stash the treasure away.
He stashed away crates of materials, bundles of medicinal herbs, and piles of Artifacts. Not a single thing was left behind.
Finally, he took out a piece of paper and placed it solemnly on a shelf.
On it was a single word: Thanks!
