Chapter 433: Fu Zhi: “Holy.”

Li Nanli chuckled. If he was with Fu Zhi right now, he would have pinched the tip of Fu Zhi’s ear.

The bell rang and Fu Zhi returned to the class. Fan Gaoda’s assistant was collecting answer sheets from the class.

Ye Jiu took a glance at Fu Zhi, and he nodded in satisfaction when he saw the blank answer sheet on Fu Zhi’s desk.

Ye Jiu put the gaming console back into the drawer and casually wrote something on his answer sheets.

Fu Zhi looked at him and Ye Jiu explained, “If we both hand in blank answer sheets, Fan Gaoda may suspect I cheated in the quiz and I copied your answer.”

Then, he paused for a moment before continuing, “I’m just a little boy with a pure little heart. I won’t be able to continue living with that kind of stigma stuck on me.”

Fu Zhi did not know what to say.

Ye Jiu ordered 10 cups of milk tea for both of them from a food delivery platform.

It was recess time and Fu Zhi was browsing through her QQ as she sipped on the milk tea. Then, she froze when she saw the pop-up advertisement.

Su Xing craned her neck over to look at Fu Zhi’s phone and she exclaimed, “Oh, isn’t that Dimension? It’s actually very similar to Glory, but the graphic is obviously nicer.”

Fu Zhi frowned, “Are you sure it’s legit?”

“Yeah, it’s legit. Isn’t this game ‘Glory’ promoted by the Gu family in conjunction with the designers behind it? Dimension is a new game launched by the Gu Family. You can say it’s a new version of ‘Glory’, and it has many players of ‘Glory’ in it.”

This was because there were a lot of female heroes in Dimension. Their costumes were more revealing, and the graphic was obviously a notch better than Glory, so it caught the eyes of many players of Glory the second it was released.

Fu Zhi did not say anything in return. She passed a cup of milk tea to Su Xing, and before they started their class, Song Fang poked at her back and asked, “Do you know Ye Shiyun?”

“Yeah?”

Fu Zhi turned her head over to look at him. Song Fang had tried to pitch his voice as low as possible, yet many students around him still heard their conversation.

In fact, it was already very late at night by the time the news about Fu Zhi and Ye Shiyun appeared on Weibo. Most of the high school students had gone to their beds, so most of them did not know about it until they saw a few netizens suspect that Fu Zhi was Pure Feather this morning.

“Are they all Sherlock Holmes?” Song Fang asked, “How can they assume you are Pure Feather just because you’ve donated a few books?”

Although it was hard to buy Pure Feather’s book right now, considering the fact that Fu Zhi’s biological parents were researchers at the FZ Research Institute and Pure Feather was a contracted novelist of the Fu Corporation, it was very normal that both of them knew each other.

As such, Song Fang could not fathom why the netizens would suspect Fu Zhi was Pure Feather at all.

Fu Zhi took her phone out and browsed through Weibo.

The moment she logged into her account, she received quite a lot of messages from her fans asking if she was Pure Feather.

Song Fang shook his head when he saw their messages. “Are they all dumb? Did they not know how bad you are at language? How is there any possibility that you are Pure Feather?”

Fu Zhi was speechless.

She read through the comments. Some of them said she was taking advantage of Pure Feather to date Ye Shiyun, while the others suspected that she was Pure Feather. Otherwise, they could not find another reason to explain why Ye Shiyun would go all the way from the capital to Yu City to meet her if she was really an ordinary person.

Everyone was waiting for Fu Zhis’s reply.

Some of Ye Shiyun’s fans were starting to look for Fu Zhi’s ugly photos on the internet. As soon as Fu Zhi said she was not Pure Feather, they were going to mock her for trying too hard to be famous.

Fu Zhi did not say anything.

She did not want to expose her real identity yet.

The main problem was that although Ye Shiyun was popular, there was a lot of negative information about him on the internet. Many people criticized him for his bad acting skills and for having a poker face. However, Fu Zhi knew Ye Shiyun liked to be an actor.

He could have earned a bucket full and bought many pink villas by selling the copyright of his research, yet he chose to be an actor.

The government denied him, his haters denied him, and the whole world denied him except for his fans.

Fu Zhi also felt that her brother was not cut out to be an actor, but “Red Sun” might be a good opportunity for Ye Shiyun to change his image.

Fu Zhi did not want to make her relationship with Ye Shiyun public. She did not want other people to think that Ye Shiyun got the character because he was her brother.

Sitting beside her, Ye Jiu was still immersed in his own world. He passed the milk tea to Fu Zhi and said, “This is good. Do you want some?”

However, he was worried that Fu Zhi might finish his drink, so he reminded her, “Just take a little sip and give it back to me.”

Fu Zhi was not in the right mood now. She grabbed the milk tea and took a few big sips from Ye Jiu’s milk tea. Then, as Ye Jiu watched in disbelief, she smacked her lips and said, “You’re right. This is good.”

Ye Jiu did not know what to say.

“You’re done,” Ye Jiu took his milk tea back. “Just you wait. I’m going to hire an assassin to kill you!”

Fu Zhi replied, “Hah. I’m so scared.”

Ye Jiu flung his hand and continued, “That’s right. You should be scared. That means you’re still alive.”

Fu Zhi turned her head away as she did not want to talk to him anymore.

Song Fang was speechless at Fu Zhi’s reaction. It appeared to him that Fu Zhi had yet realized the gravity of the situation. As such, he said, “Do you know who they are? Do you know what they are going to do to you? Even if you step forward right now and say you’re just Ye Shiyun’s friend, they won’t believe in you. In my opinion, unless you’re Pure Feather or you’re Ye Shiyun’s half-sister, they won’t just let you off the hook so easily!”

Fu Zhi felt Song Fang was right. Right now, she could only hope that Ye Shiyun’s team could divert the attention of the public to another matter.

Besides, she could not go to see Ye Shiyun as well during this period of time.

‘I guess I will have to ask Feng Bo to talk to him.’

With that thought in mind, Fu Zhi took her phone out and sent a message to Du Min.

Seeing the plain expression on her face, Song Fang suspected that Fu Zhi was really dating Ye Shiyun. However, he could not ask her as there were many people watching them right now.

The bell rang.

It was Ma Mingquan’s Physics class. His father was finally discharged from the hospital and he felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

He was wearing a big grin on his face and he was particularly excited when he was teaching today, but only a few students were actually listening as most of them were thinking about the things on Weibo.

Su Xing was one of the students who did not listen to his class. Her parents were famous choreographers and they knew a lot of people from show business. She sent a message to her parents and asked if they had the contact number of Ye Shiyun.

Ma Mingquan was pretty lenient with his students. He would not say anything if his students did not pay attention to his class, but he hated those students who liked to disturb other students that wanted to listen to his class the most.

Song Fang was well aware of this. He tore a piece of paper, and while Ma Mingquan turned over to write something on the blackboard, he threw the paper to Su Xing.

“It’s urgent!” Song Fang mouthed at Su Xing.

Su Xing nodded. She put the paper on her lap and opened it up carefully.

There were only 3 words on the paper.

[Are you there?]

Su Xing was speechless.

‘Am I here? What am I? A ghost? You can’t see me with your eyes?’

That said, Su Xing still wrote a “yes” on the paper and passed it back to Song Fang while Ma Mingquan turned around.

Song Fang let out a sigh of relief when he saw Su Xing’s reply.

He then wrote on the paper, [I don’t know how to see if you girls are in a relationship or not, so I need your help. Help me to observe if Fu Zhi is dating Ye Shiyun. If she is, then we have to find a way to help her hide it!]

Su Xing glanced at Fu Zhi, but Fu Zhi was sleeping again. She did not know why Fu Zhi was still able to sleep in this kind of situation.

The paper was passed back to Song Fang 10 minutes later.

[Zhizhi loves money, and Ye Shiyun is rich, so I’m pretty sure Zhizhi likes Ye Shiyun.]

Song Fang had no idea why but the thing that the Mathematics teacher told them today suddenly surfaced in his brain.

‘Since A is related to B and B is related to C, then is A related to C?’

“How? Is Sister Zhi dating Ye Shiyun?” Song Fang’s friend asked.

Before Song Fang could say anything, Ma Mingquan could not hold himself anymore. He hurled the chalk in his hand at Song Fang and snarled, “You didn’t pay attention to the previous class, but you still don’t want to pay attention to my class? How many times has this happened?”

Song Fang immediately sat upright and said, “I’m sorry, Brother Ma, and I love you.”

Ma Mingquan paid him no mind. He came down from the podium and stopped in front of Fu Zhi’s desk. He tapped her desk and said, “Just because you’re good in Physics doesn’t mean that you don’t have to pay attention to my class. I still need you to remind me if I said something wrong.”

Fu Zhi lifted her head up from the desk.

Song Fang was stunned.

‘So he’s not talking about me?’

“This is not good behavior,” Ma Mingquan said as he lashed his pointer at Song Fang’s hand. “I will punish your friend over here whenever I see you not paying attention in my class. You hear me?”

Both Fu Zhi and Song Fang were dumbfounded by Ma Mingquan.

Ma Mingquan wanted to take the paper in Song Fang’s hand away, but Song Fang refused to give it to him.

He held the paper in his hand as he wailed at the top of his lungs, “Brother Ma, Brother Ma, please don’t take the paper away from me. It’s just a kid!”

Ma Mingquan did not know what to say.
