Chapter 116: Explanation

Hi everyone, I know I've been inactive for awhile, and for that I am really sorry. 

Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with NHL, non hodgkin's lymphoma. It is early stage, and the doctors are highly optimistic that it can be treated. We're going with a slow, and low targeted drug therapy due to my underlaying health issues. I've just ended phase 1/introduction, and to be honest, it stuffed me up badly.

At several points I questioned why I was doing this, why suffer through the pain, and sickness. It was a very dark, low point which with a lot of help from family, and some messages I received from readers I've managed to come through with a brighter outlook. 

The answer to those questions I asked myself- Family, and my stories. 

I have stories to tell, not only Kadia's, but so many more. Elayna, Ryleigh, Amber, Aristeia, so many characters inhabit my head, all of whom would be lost alongside me if I don't bring their worlds to life beyond myself. 

Readers like all of you, who read the things I write help me achieve that, and for that I want to thank you all. 

Life is a bit scary right now, but Kadia is babbling away in my head, and I promise I've got an update coming for you soon. Thank you for the support you all give simply by reading my work, and also for those supporting me on patreon. 

On a brighter note, volume one is out on Aug 30th, and is currently listed with Amazon. When I feel up to it, I'll get it added to iTunes, and the other various ebook places.
