Chapter 82

After a sumptuous dinner, Cheng Yi did not dare to stay longer. He politely said goodbye and left.

An Yan had a good sleep in the afternoon and a nice dinner after, so he was now in good spirits. He remembered that he had to help Grandpa Cheng repair his spirit domain tonight, so he found an excuse to go back to his room early.

After watching TV alone in the living room for awhile, An Mu decided to go to the kitchen and peel a cantaloupe. She cut it into small pieces and put it on a fruit plate  with the intention of bringing it to An Yan.

Although her son didn't mind her reprimand this afternoon, An Mu couldn’t help but feel that she had made too much of a fuss.

With this in mind, An Mu went upstairs with the fruit plate and knocked at An Yan’s door a few times, but no one answered.

Could it be that he was taking a bath? Or is it......

The woman's eyebrows jumped as she reached out and pushed the door open to take a look inside.

All she saw was an open window and an open bathroom door.

An Mu sighed at the open window. It seems that she still didn't know her son well enough. She had just talked to him this afternoon and even got his promise, but then he turned around and climbed out of the window at night. This is really....

She put the fruit plate on the table, and turned around to go downstairs.

"Ah-choo!" An Yan, who had just arrived at the Cheng's house a short while ago, was about to follow Cheng Yi to find Grandpa Cheng when he suddenly sneezed.

Cheng Yi held the little one in one hand and rubbed his little nose with the other, saying worriedly, "What's wrong with Yan Yan? Did you catch a cold?"

An Yan pushed Cheng Yi's hand away and rubbed his nose himself. He shook his little head and said, "squeak squeak." There's no cold. Let's go find Grandpa Cheng.

Cheng Yi carried An Yan to Grandpa Cheng's room. After greeting his grandfather, he took the little one to the bathroom to change his clothes.

Although he had done some psychological construction before, Grandpa Cheng’s mood was a little complicated when he actually saw the little hamster that was in his big grandson's arms turn into human form and appear in front of him.

"Hello Grandpa Cheng, I'm An Yan." An Yan politely greeted Grandpa Cheng.

Grandpa Cheng nodded his head with mixed feelings, "Hello, An Yan."

Although the matter of turning from a hamster into a human did shock him, this boy’s simple face, especially those clear eyes, really did bear some resemblance to that little hamster when he took a closer look.

He looked quite cute and gave off a very soothing feeling. No wonder his eldest grandson was so devoted to the little hamster.

After greeting each other, it was time to repair the spiritual domain.

Following his previous operation, An Yan first used his spiritual power to repair some of the damage to Grandpa Cheng’s spiritual domain. He then went around Grandpa Cheng's spiritual domain to destroy some of the black dots that were constantly pulsating in it.

An Yan opened his eyes and asked nervously, "How does Grandpa Cheng feel now?"

Although the results of the previous physical examination were sufficient to explain the problem, An Yan was still a little worried.

Grandpa Cheng carefully probed the condition of his spiritual domain and could not hide the strong excitement in his calm voice: "I feel fine now. Thank you, little friend."

"Grandpa Cheng is too kind." An Yan instantly smiled, happily. It felt so good to be able to help others.

However, although he could sense the changes in his spiritual domain, Grandpa Cheng still went to the physical examination room accompanied by one person and one hamster in order to further determine the exact situation and data.

Grandpa Cheng's hands were trembling slightly the moment he saw the results.

Only at this moment was he truly convinced that his life was not coming to an end as quickly as everyone thought, but that he had a second chance of rebirth!

And all of this was brought to him by this young man called An Yan.

With this in mind, Grandpa Cheng's shining eyes could not help but move to the little hamster in Cheng Yi's arms.

Feeling Grandpa Cheng's hot gaze on him, An Yan uncomfortably moved his little buttocks, and in the next instant, Cheng Yi turned to the side to block his grandfather's view.

Grandfather Cheng: "....." My grandson is old. It's time to marry him out earlier.

Cheng Yi said, with a solemn expression, "Grandfather, I still have one more thing to discuss with you. Let's go back to your room first."

Grandfather Cheng nodded with a complicated expression.

Once they returned to the bedroom, Cheng Yi went straight to the point, "Yan Yan stays at the academy most of the time and has to accompany his mother when he goes home on weekends. So, he doesn't have much time to help Grandpa repair his spiritual domain. But I have a suggestion that might allow Grandpa to repair his spiritual domain on his own. "

An Yan immediately shook his little head in a hurry, trying to tell Cheng Yi that he would find the time to help Grandpa Cheng repair his spiritual domain.

But An Yan quieted down at the latter part of his statement. He had already guessed the method Cheng Yi was thinking of using.

Sure enough, he heard Cheng Yi continue, "Yan Yan made a transformation potion earlier that could transform a human into their animal form. After changing into an animal form, Grandpa can absorb the spiritual energy contained in the air on his own and use it to repair the spirit domain."

Grandpa Cheng's eyes flashed fiercely, "There's such a thing?"

Grandpa Cheng had received more shock in one day than he had in the previous years combined.

Although this is just my personal speculation, the probability should be feasible." Cheng Yi nodded. "In addition to that, after the spiritual domain is completely repaired, Grandpa can also improve the stability and acuity of his spiritual power, as well as expand the upper limit of his spiritual power through this method."

Grandpa Cheng was so shocked that even his voice trembled, "You mean that this method can also expand the spiritual domain?!"

Cheng Yi nodded affirmatively, "I have tried it before. Absorbing spiritual energy can indeed have such an effect. "

For a moment, Grandpa Cheng's expression was extremely complicated.

He thought that he had successfully received all the shocks, but he had not expected that they were not transmitted all at once. Instead, they came in waves, and each wave brought a stronger impact than the previous one, almost knocking him dizzy.

Grandpa Cheng had just barely gotten over the wave of impacts when he heard Cheng Yi say again, "Moreover, after transforming into animal form, the physical ability will also be significantly increased. I made a rough comparison earlier, and the physical ability of the animal form should be at least twice as high as that of the human form. "

Grandpa Cheng, who had been smashed again, no longer knew what to say. He could only look at An Yan with a complicated expression while a thought involuntarily popped up in his mind. How come that, the more he listened, the more he felt that his eldest grandson seemed completely unworthy of this boy?

An Yan was a good-looking youngster. He was good-natured, kind-hearted, and understanding. More importantly, he was carrying such a huge treasure.

When he looked at his eldest grandson, his personality was aloof and cold, his heart indifferent, and he was not sensible at all. He looks okay, but considering the certain fatal problems in him, this advantage immediately becomes a negative.

But speaking of that, Grandpa Cheng's eyes flicked to his eldest grandson and asked implicitly, "Ah Yi, how is your health these days?"

Cheng Yi, who understood the deeper meaning of his grandfather's words, suddenly turned subtle. He subconsciously glanced down at the little one and said calmly, "Thanks to Yan Yan, everything is fine with me now."

Grandpa Cheng was relieved and at the same time realized that he seemed to have asked a question that he shouldn't have.

But there was nothing he could do. If his eldest grandson’s problem wasn't solved, how could he just stand by and watch him run off to wreak havoc on someone else's nice son?

But on second thought, he must have been overthinking it. Even if he didn't say anything, his grandson's temperament wouldn't allow him todo such a rogue thing.

Grandpa Cheng then caught the point of his grandson's words.

So the reason his problem could be solved was also because of this little teenager?

Considering that he had a chance to be reborn because of this boy, and that his eldest grandson was in a similar situation, Grandpa Cheng's heart could not help but become more and more grateful to An Yan.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that this boy was the great benefactor who had saved the Cheng family.

With this in mind, Grandpa Cheng was in no hurry to ask about changing his body but said to An Yan, "Can Yan Yan change back to his human form first?"

An Yan immediately nodded and gestured for Cheng Yi to carry him to the bathroom.

Cheng Yi could see that his grandfather had something to say to the little one, so he turned around and went straight into the bathroom.

By the time An Yan got dressed and came out of the bathroom, Grandpa Cheng had already prepared two agreements that would take effect immediately after signing and entering the information.

"Yan Yan, come here and take a look at these two agreements," Grandpa Cheng waved at An Yan with a kind expression, "You have done me such a great favour. To say that you have saved my life is an understatement. There is nothing I can do to repay you, so I can only bring out these things. I hope that you don't mind."

An Yan walked over and took a glance at the agreement. A share transfer contract? What was this?

"This is the share transfer contract for 33% of Cheng's mecha manufacturing company, and this is the share transfer contract for 27% of Cheng's virtual arena," Grandpa Cheng lightly described the contents of the two agreements and then directly pushed the agreement to An Yan, saying, "Yan Yan, just sign here if you don’t mind, and then enter your personal information."

An Yan did not know anything about shares and felt a bit baffled for a while, but Cheng Yi could not help but suck in a soft breath of cold air when he heard his grandfather's words.

My grandfather had actually taken out all the shares under his name!

One must know that both Cheng's Mecha Manufacturing and Cheng's Virtual Arena were among the best in the industry. The company's shares were something that countless people had fought for but simply could not get.

Even if these two contracts were left alone and the figures were scaled down by a few times or even a dozen times, they would make countless people's eyes light up, and they would want to jump on them.

However, although he was surprised, Cheng Yi could understand his grandfather's intention of doing so.

As grandfather had just said, An Yan had indeed saved grandfather's life and was his benefactor. Under such circumstances, even if he gave the two contracts to the little one as a package, it would not be enough to repay his kindness.

Cheng Yi was lamenting in his heart when he heard the little one ask with a dumbfounded expression, "Grandpa Cheng, what does the share transfer contract mean?"
