Chapter 84:

Grandpa Cheng nodded, and then began to try to absorb the aura contained in the air according to the method described by Cheng Yi.

It only took five minutes for Grandpa Cheng to successfully sense the presence of aura, and then he began the next step.

Although his grandson's description was clear enough and he had described all the problems he might encounter in detail, it was, after all, his first time. Grandpa Cheng had to try several times and ask Cheng Yi a few questions before he gradually got the hang of it.

After mastering the essentials, the next step was much simpler.

Grandpa Cheng concentrated on absorbing the aura, while Cheng Yi took the little one and sat down at the side. He took out a small table from the space button and placed several of the little one's favourite foods on it: "Grandpa will cultivate for a long time, so Yan Yan should eat something and have some rest in the mean time."

Both An Yan in his hamster form and human form were complete foodies. On seeing so many of his favorite foods, An Yan's eyes immediately lit up and he began to gnaw happily.

Cheng Yi had prepared the most tasty and chewy foods, but not in large quantities. So, An Yan only felt satisfied after gnawing on it for awhile, but his stomach did not bulge.

Grandpa Cheng, who was not far away, only cultivated for a while after making sure he had mastered the technique of absorbing spiritual energy, and then opened his eyes.

Now that he had mastered the technique, there was no need to keep the two children with him. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw his eldest grandson holding a small handkerchief and carefully wiping away the food crumbs from the corners of the little hamster's mouth.

Grandpa Cheng did not hesitate to flap his wings twice, interrupting the scene that was completely unbearable to look at.

He then pointed at the potion on the table with the tips of his wings, signalling that he wanted to change back to his human form.

Cheng Yi told the little one to continue eating, and got up to take the potion from the table. He opened it and handed it to Grandpa Cheng's mouth.

After turning into his eagle form, Grandpa Cheng's mouth had also turned into a bird's beak. He could only open his mouth wide and tilt his head up, allowing Cheng Yi to pour the potion directly into it.

After giving him the potion, Cheng Yi didn't even wait for Grandpa Cheng to turn back into his human form. He went ahead to pick up the little hamster, and even covered his eyes, saying, "Yan Yan, don't look."

Grandpa Cheng, who was abandoned to the side and was also treated like a stranger: ".... " Kid isn't the range of people you're jealous of a little too wide?

However, although he had many complaints about his eldest grandson in his heart, Grandpa Cheng still very consciously put on his clothes immediately after successfully changing back to his human form,

He carefully checked the condition of his spiritual domain and was shocked to find that, in just ten minutes or so, it was much better than before!

He could actually repair the damage in his spiritual domain by himself through this method!

Although he had already heard about the benefits of doing so from Cheng Yi, he was still inevitably shocked.

"How does Grandpa feel now?" Cheng Yi removed the hand covering the little one's eyes and asked

Grandpa Cheng glanced at the little hamster in his eldest grandson's arms with a shocked and complicated expression and said in a deep voice, "It’s just as you described. After absorbing the spiritual energy, the condition of my spiritual domain has indeed gotten much better."

"That's good." Cheng Yi nodded. An Yan also sighed in relief, happily stuffing another nut into his mouth.

Seeing their expressions, Grandpa Cheng really wanted to ask: Do you guys really know how much of a shock and impact this will have on all of humanity if word gets out!’

Whether it's transforming the human form or repairing the spiritual domain by absorbing spiritual energy and raising the upper limit of spiritual power, any one of these would be a big enough event to shock all of humanity!

So how can you guys act so calm!

But in the end, Grandpa Cheng held back. As an elder, he absolutely could not lose his cool in front of his juniors, even if he had huge waves raging in his heart.

So Grandpa Cheng shouted madly in his heart on one side while speaking with a calm expression, "Thank you, An Yan. I'll have to trouble you to prepare a few more bottles of the transformation potion for me. "

An Yan grinned and proudly patted his little chest again, "Squeak squeak!" Leave this matter to me.

So, half an hour later, there were forty bottles of Transformation Potion in Grandpa Cheng's room. Twenty of which were for transforming into his animal form, and the other twenty were for transforming back into human form.

After handing these potions to Grandpa Cheng, Cheng Yi said "good night" to his grandfather and took An Yan back to his room.

Although he wanted the little one to sleep in his bed, he had to reluctantly consider An Yan’s mother, whom he had coaxed just this afternoon, "Go home early and get some rest. I’ll see you tomorrow."

An Yan nodded, "Squeak squeak!" See you tomorrow.

"Good night, Yan Yan, and," Cheng Yi couldn't help but give the little hamster a gentle kiss on the head before saying, in an extremely soft tone, "thank you, Yan Yan Yan."

An Yan was inexplicably a little embarrassed, and after two more squeaks, he jumped out of the window.

An Yan even took a look at the window of his mother's room before going back to his room. He made sure that she was now in her room resting, before breathing a sigh of relief.

He returned to his room through the window, changed back to his human form, and got dressed. When he turned back around, he saw a fruit plate filled with cantaloupe on his desk.

An Yan: "..." The situation didn't look too good.

Although he had already eaten a lot of snacks before, An Yan still ate most of the cantaloupe in the fruit plate out of guilt before washing up and going to bed.

When An Yan came downstairs for breakfast the next morning, he hesitated for a while and finally chose to take the initiative to apologize to An Mu, "Mom, that...last night... I’m sorry....."

His mom had just talked to him yesterday afternoon, but then he snuck out at night. So she must have been very angry.

An Mu actually didn't feel much anger. Although her son's behavior was indeed unexpected, it didn't matter as long as Cheng Yi was sincere with her son. For her, occasionally climbing out of the window was just a small love affair between lovers.

The more An Mu thought about it, the more she felt that given how much Cheng Yi cared for her silly son, it was unlikely that he would take the initiative to ask him to climb through the window to find him.

With that in mind, An Mu could only conclude that her silly son had climbed the window so many times because he had taken the initiative and insisted on doing so.

Her feelings were indeed very complicated and subtle with that conclusion. She never expected that her silly son, who seemed to be well-behaved and innocent, would climb through the window for a private date.

However, there was no way to frankly talk about this kind of thing with her son, and she could only let him go.

An Mu could not help but sigh at her son’s apprehensive look, and she became even more certain of her suspicions: "It's alright, just be safe in the future."

An Yan did not know that his mother had already made a clear characterization of his behavior. He immediately became happy at her words: "Thank you, mom. I will definitely pay attention to safety in the future!"

An Mu’s heart suddenly became more subtle on seeing her son’s eyes light up with happiness.

After having breakfast, An Yan and the Cheng brothers headed back to the college together.

On the way, Cheng Yi took the initiative to chat with An Yan about the Academy's Mecha Competition.

Registration for the Academy Mecha Competition began in October, and the registration period lasted for a month, with the competition officially starting in November.

Although there was still some time before the competition officially started, there was no harm in discussing it earlier.

An Yan had been so busy with other things that he had almost forgotten about it. He froze slightly when Cheng Yi mentioned it and asked, "Is senior really going to team up with me?"

Cheng Yi nodded affirmatively, "I will only team up with you."

"But...." An Yan was trying to say that with his current situation, it wouldn't be suitable for him to make potions in front of the public. After all, Cheng Yi had specifically cautioned against making potions in the academy as much as possible.

But remembering that Cheng Yang was right next to him, An Yan carefully changed his words to, "I might not be suitable for such a competition."

Cheng Yi instantly read An Yan's worries and said, "Don't worry, Yan Yan, all these problems can be solved."

"Really?" An Yan's eyes lit up. In fact, if his worries were eliminated, he felt that it was quite good to be able to participate in this competition with Cheng Yi, no matter what the result was.

"Mm." Cheng Yi nodded affirmatively.

When he first told the little one to be careful not to reveal himself, he hadn't known that there were more and bigger secrets hidden in the little one. He thought that as long as he paid attention and remained inconspicuous, he could avoid worry.

Now it seemed that he had thought too simply.

The little one was carrying such a huge treasure that it would be impossible to conceal its light no matter what. Instead of hiding it, it would be better to slowly reveal a corner of the treasure first, and then work on it gradually.

Of course, the prerequisite is to ensure the safety of the little one.

After all, such a treasure is enough to illuminate all mankind. Anyone who sees it will covet it.

Cheng Yi's eyes were filled with a dark light. He put his arm on the little one's seat and took him into your arms, saying, "Don't worry, I'll protect you."

Without giving it much thought, An Yan said gratefully, "Thank you, senior!"

Cheng Yang, who was listening to this, shook his arms and leaned into the corner with a resigned expression, "Can't you guys wait until I'm not around to show your love?"

Single dogs have human rights too!

Cheng Yi glared directly at his brother, while An Yan asked in confusion, "What do you mean to show our love?"

Cheng Yang shook his head weakly, helplessly, and in grievance, "Nothing.  I said the wrong thing. You guys can please continue. "

He was the one who was so naïve.  How could a single dog have human rights QAQ!
