Chapter 12: In the Dreamland Again

Alex sat on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. He was exhausted after the mission, his body still ached from the brutal fight with five Zorgons. It had taken the entire team to defeat them, but in the end, they had succeeded. He had never felt so alive, but the adrenaline was quickly fading and being replaced by the aches and bruises.

As he lay there, he felt himself drifting into a deep sleep. But this time, instead of darkness, he found himself in the same dreamland that he had visited before. The world was still as mysterious as it was before, with its endless expanse of light and energy. Alex walked towards the Ancient Rune, feeling a pull towards it.

He reached out his hand and touched the Rune, and suddenly, he was hit with an intense wave of energy. He felt the power coursing through his veins, the second node fully activating and doubling the energy that he had stored. This was something that typically took three months of practicing mana to achieve, but Alex had reduced it to just three weeks.

As he stood there, basking in the energy, Alex couldn't help but wonder what this all meant. Was this just a dream, or was this his subconscious trying to tell him something? He had always felt like he was meant for something more, and now it seemed like he was on the path to discovering what that was.

He looked down at his hand, which now had a faint blue tattoo, and he knew that this was just the beginning. The journey was far from over, but he was excited to see where it would take him. He felt a sense of purpose that he had never felt before, and he was eager to continue on this path of discovery.

With a smile on his face, Alex awoke from the dreamland, feeling refreshed and ready to continue on his journey. He knew that there was still so much to learn, so many mysteries to uncover, and he was determined to unlock the full potential of his newfound powers. The future was looking brighter than ever before, and Alex was ready to face it head on.
