Chapter 4: NOAH MCROWAN DIARY ENTRIES

Well Alan came back to school today but the crazy part is his mom found him shivering by the woods. He was sitting right in front of me and it was kind of strange to see him so quiet because usually he’s always interrupting people and being generally annoying but today he didn't speak at all. Some people around his desk were asking what happened and did a monster get him. He yelled “YOU SHOULDN’T SAY THAT!” super loud. The whole room got so quiet that you can hear a pin drop. It makes me believe that what I saw was real even more. I know he’s been acting differently ever since what i saw but is it wrong to feel so happy that he’s quiet now? Either way I'm just trying not to entertain the thought of what I saw but everything just seems strange with Alan.
