"I shouldn't feel tired with just that attack... but will they charge me and have me pay them back?" Orissa frowned in dismay because while she did get money from George, the damage she caused, even while avoiding killing any humans, was costly.

From what she knew, using Blood Arts to attack shouldn't cost anything, much less make her tired, but it did. Even though she could use it without worry, she couldn't rest like a normal human, and the cost of the attack was the equivalent of over a thousand humans worth of blood.

"I can keep the clouds obscuring the sun since it's maintained by the residual power, but using any attack like before unless I have no other choice is impossible."

From what she knew via the memories, the power she used was basic, even if it was amplified to an ungodly level by her power and control. If she used a stronger spell, probably one to wipe a city away, she might directly drain all the power of blood in her body and end up little more than a dry corpse unable to move.

"If I can barely use anything, then those guys probably can't either. Hm... Cultivators, I think? I'll need to find one and see. But for now, I can use the basic Blood Arts and Vampiric Arts without any costs."

Turning into animals, condensing blood into weapons even if it wasn't as broken as the slash from earlier, manifesting wings, using mist, illusions, and even mind control.

Cultivators weren't nearly as talented at their Arts, but were annoying because they had various seemingly random abilities that could cause the vampires harm. That and they definitely knew how to kill vampires because if she had memories of them, they would definitely know of vampires.

Orissa leapt to the hole and landed lightly, feeling very happy. Animals made her happy surprisingly, and being able to become one made her itch to try it out.

"Ready?" Orissa ignored the gaping humans and asked her vampires who had healed in the time she had finished off the wolves outside. When they nodded, she smiled and then turned to the humans.

"Well, technically, I didn't mean to cut that far, so just blame the wolves, okay? Let me tell you, I'm actually really poor." Orissa gave them a pitiful look, one that made Irene feel a sense of anger in her heart.

"Detective! Don't be angry, whatever will humanity do if you get a heart attack and die?" Orissa spoke with so much 'concern' that Irene ignored what she saw outside and rushed over to punch her innocent looking face.

"Ah! This crazy woman! Help me, why are you standing there when I'm being assaulted?" Orissa cried to her guards as she bent her body in various ways to keep the detective's fists away.

"Your Majesty, to be fair... It's kind of your fault." Calista spoke with a wry smile when Orissa flipped away and landed next to her, hiding behind her to avoid the angry but determined human woman.

"Calista you traitor! That's it, no pay for the next decade." Orissa spat with indignation and felt a lot better when Calista's eyes widened. If she worked for ten years with no pay, what was the point?

"On second thought, she's very crazy and I'll stop her right away!" Seeing how fast Calista changed her tune, everyone looked at her with differing emotions, the vampires mostly with amusement.

"Good. Since we've said what was necessary, I'll make sure no vampires step out of line. No peeking at our building too!" Orissa walked to the hole with the vampires flanking her and jumped down.

The vampires leapt down and sped off and vanished into the night, leaving the area. When they were far enough away, Orissa sent the other vampires back and then stopped on a rooftop, stripping off her clothes.

"I can see why there are some weird people out there. It's quite freeing to be like this." Orissa looked at her body and then closed her eyes. Unlike Blood Arts, Vampiric Arts encompassed the other aspects like shape-shifting, mind control, and telepathy, but didn't draw energy from her blood.

When her eyes opened, her eye height was different. Instead of two legs, she had four and had shiny white fur with a few black splotches. Like her normal form, she still possessed grace and agility that would put any animal to shame.

A white cat leapt off a five story building and landed on a tree branch, walking around while observing everything around it. If before it might have been crowded and bustling, the fact that the world knew vampires existed now kept almost everyone off the streets at night.

Orissa's eyes rolled as she wanted to troll people now that she could become different animals, but she didn't factor in there not being anyone to troll. Orissa leapt back to the roof and reverted back, putting back on the quite damaged dress.

"Well, it was easy and not painful. Maybe Zaylee will like it." Since Zaylee hadn't ever had a pet, she didn't mind acting for Zaylee if it would make the little girl smile.

Leaping down, she reached the building a few minutes after the vampire guards did, stepping into the building and saw a very worried Sierra, Odelle, and Zaylee staring at her.

Even if she didn't have a heartbeat, vampires could still track other vampires by scent or sound. Their movements made noises that could be heard if one was focusing enough.

"I'm okay. See." Orissa patted her nearly ruined dress and smiled when Zaylee threw herself over and landed in her arms. Patting her head, she smiled reassuringly at the other two and then felt her mood drop.

"F*ck." They worried Orissa encountered a problem, but then she looked at them with grave eyes and spoke and then the two ran over and wanted to beat her up.

"I forgot Clara! No! Um, why do you look angry? Hey!" Orissa dodged Odelle's seemingly weak punch, knowing she would have a reenactment of herself smashing through a building if it landed.

"Why are you mad? It's really not anything bad you know?" Orissa ducked under Odelle's punch and then realized she hadn't considered Sierra who was still until now.

"Sierra!" Orissa yelled when she felt a fist nearing her back, so she used one of her newly found Arts and turned to mist. Zaylee fell down suddenly but landed nimbly while the two others stopped in confusion.

"Can you stop? My clothes will fall apart if I get hit again. What would you do if they call me an exhibitionist behind my back afterwards?" Orissa's voice entered their minds, so they relaxed a bit but looked interested.

Her body reformed itself and luckily, she still wore her dress. Picking Zaylee up, and headed for the elevator, ignoring their questioning gazes with a triumphant smile on her face.
