As the sun set, it was almost dusk when Yon Rogg's figure appeared by the edge of the farmhouse.

This Kree force commander wore a green combat uniform, it looks like it was made of rubber, but the shine from the dusklight reflected a metallic light on the uniform.

On his chest was a pentagram symbol, which should be the symbol of the force he belongs to.

The Kree gazed upon the silent farm, he extends a finger and taps on his neck, retracting the half-covered helmet covering his face, and revealing his similar-to-Earthling face.

Short brown hair and a square yet majestic face, his only difference from an Earthling were his eyes; those green eyes are odd regardless of how you look at them.

The Kree weren't all blue babies, some of their warriors had different skin colors.

He lifts his arm, on the holographic communicator, a red spot was not far in front of him, it was Vers' communication signal.

He, an intergalactic warrior of the Kree, is here for Vers.

"Vers...you're here, right?"

The Asis Aircraft piloted by Carol Danvers and the Kree Mar-Vell did not crash from an accident, it was shot down, and the one who shot it down was Yon Rogg himself.

The Kree military discovered frontline agent Mar-Vell's betrayal and sent Starforce to Earth to clean out the traitor, as well as bring back the special energy Mar-Vell had been researching on.

Yon Rogg brought the best killers under his wing and successfully shot down Mar-Vell's aircraft and kill the traitor; unfortunately, Mar-Vell's research was destroyed by Carol Danvers, who manned the aircraft, at the last moment.

The explosion of the energy armed on the prototype aircraft Asis nearly killed Yon Rogg, but it also gave birth to a true super-soldier.

Until now, no one understands why Carol could absorb that energy, not even Kree technology could find out why.

But undoubtedly, Yon Rogg saw Carol's potential, so he brought her back to Hala, saved her with his own blood, and trained her.

As 6 years passed, the elite Kree commander Yon Rogg did not know what his feelings towards Carol were.

She was like his disciple, his daughter, his mate.

She accepted the pure blood of Kree royalty, yet she still had the characteristics unlike the normal silent yet restraint Kree females. She was reckless yet pure, not hiding her likes and dislikes, full of not-Kree characteristics.

From the start, Yon Rogg only treated and trained her as a war machine, then he tried to erase the 'flaws' in her character, but later, as they spent time together, the feeling changed.

Right now, standing at the entrance to Maria's farm, a feeling that shouldn't appear on a soldier surfaces in this Kree commander's heart.

He hopes to see Carol here once again, that she was still that reckless yet pure Vers, and not some inferior Earthling.

He wishes to bring her back to Hala, instead of executing her here.

Ah...

Only when realizing the possible loss of something, would someone understand how precious that thing is.

Yon Rogg takes a deep breath, the air on Earth made him slightly uncomfortable, but as a noble-blooded Kree royalty, his adapting ability to the environment is strong.

Not to mention, he had been to Earth before, he was not a stranger to this planet.

"Shwa"

Yon Rogg takes out the energy pistol from his waist, this thing could fire highly destructive lasers, had extremely long-range, and was extremely accurate, far more superior than Earth's inferior weapons.

On his other hand, the somewhat cumbersome wristguard was also a type of offensive weapon, it was currently humming slightly, representing that it was awaiting activation.

With these two things, he had nothing to be scared of on this blue planet.

The alien warrior takes a step forward, then the communicator on his arm starts beeping; a blue-skinned female Kree warrior with long wavy hair and black lipstick appeared in front of his eyes.

"Yon, we discovered Mar-Vell's lab, it's hidden on planet C-53's orbit! It's been activated!"

"Then storm in there!"

Yon Rogg tells his teammates:

"Ambush there, take control of the lab when necessary. Minn-Erva, you'll take command until I get back!"

"Yes sir."

The female Kree warrior called Minn-Erva nods. Then, she asks in a low tone:

"Vers, that traitor may be the one who opened Mar-Vell's lab. You and I both know that she's the only one who knows the location of the lab after Mar-Vell's death; if I meet her..."

"Activate her suppressor!"

Yon Rogg says:

"If her memory suppression has failed, then take her to the Supreme Intelligence for another memory suppression!"

"Ha, I thought you would let me execute her on the spot."

The female Kree warrior says with slight mockery:

"Yon, your personal feelings to Vers have affected your judgment! You're a warrior, you shouldn't have those weak feelings, you'll be delivered to military court for it!"

"Vers is different, Minn-Erva."

Yon Rogg's eyes flash and he argues:

"She's humanized war machine deemed by the Supreme Intelligence to have potential, she's valuable. And valuable things shouldn't be destroyed just like that. Do as I say, I'll be back soon."

"Shwa"

The communicator is closed and the hologram dissipates.

Yon Rogg glances at the farm in front of him, shakes his head, and walks into it at a fast pace.

The main door of Maria's farmhouse is kicked open by the alien warrior, who then storms in and sees the detached communicator placed on the table of the living room.

This disappointed Yon Rogg greatly, it was bait.

This also means that Vers' memory suppression had lost effect.

She had remembered her identity as an Earthling and has stood opposite to the Kree Empire in this fight.

"Dammit!"

The alien warrior picks up the communicator and prepares to leave, but as he walked out of the room, a bang resounds from the direction from which he came from, fire followed by rolling smoke sputters in the distance, rising in the air.

That direction...

The expression of the Kree warrior changes abruptly, it was his landing pod!

It's been destroyed!

Yon Rogg quickly rushes towards the direction of the landing pod, but at the entrance to Maria's farm, black fog forms quickly into an Earthling behind Yon Rogg and a sharp combat knife silently thrusts towards the back of the Kree warrior's neck.

"Woong"

As the blade cut down, Yon Rogg raised his left arm and activated the weapon on it.

In the sound of clashing metal, that thing was like a spread-out green clip, flickering glowing energy echoes from within it.

As it was activated, an invisible forcefield forcibly imprisons the blade Merlin had thrust from behind him.

"Buzz off!"

The Kree warrior roared and threw his left arm forward.

The forcefield bound Merlin's body, throwing him forward.

Yon Rogg raises his right arm and pulls the trigger of the energy gun, a high-temperature laser flies accurately towards the bound Merlin; before it could hit, however, the Earthling agent abruptly transforms into rolling black fog and dodges the laser gun's ray.

He somewhat difficultly breaks free of the bind of the odd forcefield weapon on Yon Rogg's arm and reappears in human form off the distance.

Merlin with his black headgear and combat uniform looks at the alien in front of him. He takes out the wand from his waist with his left hand and places his right in front of him like a fist.

"A trap, ha."

Yon Rogg looks at the Earthling warrior in front of him and shakes the forcefield generator in his hand, causing the gravitational force around him to form a shield and block his front. But as he raised the laser gun in his hand, he sees the Earthling in front of him fling the red baton in his hand upwards.

"Expelliarmus!"

"Shwa"

The Kree warrior feels a massive force knocking off the laser gun from his hand, and sending it flying into Merlin's hands.

Merlin raises the laser gun, aims it at the Kree, and pulls the trigger.

But...

Nothing happened.

This alien weapon must have an identity function! This thing was locked as soon as it fell into Merlin's hands!

The Kree warrior seemed to have anticipated this, so as the gun left his hand, he rushed towards Merlin while wielding the forcefield generator on his left arm.

The distorted gravitational force was like hands squeezing to him from all sides, Merlin tries to dodge, but under the suppression of the invisible forcefield, he could hardly even transform into fog.

Noticing this, Merlin did not step back, instead, he takes out the electrifying taser baton from his waist and smacks it headfirst towards the approaching Yon Rogg.

"Bam"

The taser baton strikes on Yon Rogg's shield, disrupting it, yet it had little effect. The Kree warrior raised his fist and smashed it into Merlin's chest, but it was ineffective.

After all, he couldn't hit a lifeform made of fog regardless of how strong his strength was.

"Bam"

Merlin flips his wrist and sends a Reducto at Yon Rogg's body, knocking him to the ground.

He takes out his pistol and fires 5 times at the Kree on the ground, but the flying bullets hovered in the air as they were being disrupted by the invisible forcefield, rendering them harmless.

Merlin sees this and lifts his leg, he gathers strength then stomps his foot toward Yon Rogg, like he was beating a helpless criminal.

But his forceful attack was once again blocked by the forcefield surrounding Yon Rogg, which was getting heavier by the second.

Regardless of how Merlin attacked, he could not break through the forcefield protecting Yon Rogg; Yon Rogg let out a mocking smile at Merlin like he was looking at an ape trying to attack a battle tank.

He opens the fingers on his left arm, three rings on the forcefield generator begin to light up, which greatly boosts its power.

This time, the flickering invisible energy even began to create ripples in the air.

"Bam"

Merlin's body was sent flying after being hit by the invisible forcefield.

Yon Rogg closes his fingers, Merlin's flying trajectory then changes and bounds his body in an enclosed space.

He feels as if he was trapped in an invisible glass cage, he clenched his fist and smacked away at the invisible forcefield, but to no avail.

Yon Rogg crawls up from the ground and reaches his left hand forward, the ever-heavier forcefield begins to suppress Merlin bit by bit, pressing on him like a mountain; a few seconds later, Merlin's body was completely pressed against the ground.

His limbs were spread out, it felt as if countless hands were pressing on his body, like countless chains were binding him to the ground.

He struggled, but he could not break free, under the reverse compression of the heavy gravitational force, he could not even transform into fog.

"You savages!"

Yon Rogg looks down at Merlin, hate and contempt fill his eyes as he moved his neck and kicks at Merlin's chest.

It hurts!

It really hurts!

Merlin's expression under the headgear had distorted.

From the force of this kick, the Kree in front of him had at least 3 times the strength of an average human! This means that even if he didn't use the forcefield generator, he's a tough nut to crack for ordinary Earthlings.

Carols did say that all Kree have better physical quality than Earthlings.

"You took my Vers! You bastards!"

Yon Rogg roared in a deep tone, he lowered his body and picks up his lasergun from Merlin's hand. He points it at the Earthling agent pressed on the floor and says gloomily:

"So pay with your life!"

Yon Rogg could not see Merlin's expression under the headgear, so he also did not see Merlin's moving lips under it.

Just as Yon Rogg pulls the trigger, Merlin finishes chanting, and with the slight curl of his finger, the magic wand Lola flies into Merlin's hand.

"Expelliarmus!"

"Shwa"

The Expelliarmus smacks onto Yon Rogg's hand and sends the laser gun flying, then, a Reducto flies past the suppression of the forcefield and hits his left wrist, causing the forcefield generator to be diverted to another direction.

The twist of the forcefield freed Merlin momentarily, he reaches his hand into his pocket, and as Yon Rogg pointed the forcefield generator back at him, he also takes something out of his pocket.

A silver baton, a berserk baton.

One of his trump cards!

"Boom"

Yon Rogg opens his fingers once again, the gravitational impact smashes into Merlin's body once again, but this time, Merlin's body only wobbled slightly, he was still standing.

Merlin raises his hand, his eyes under the headgear had become bloodshot red.

The 5 times strength implication brought by the berserker baton was enough for him to stand against Yon Rogg's forcefield bindings.

"Is this all you got?"

This was Merlin's first time speaking ever since they fought, he picks up the laser gun on the floor, and as Yon Rogg watched, he clenched his fingers and slowly squashed the laser gun to pieces.

He opens his fingers and the distorted metal piece falls from his palm, he looks at Yon Rogg who was backing away. The anger stimulated by the berserker baton began to flow out bit by bit, and as the fog began to swirl around him, he says:

"Carol asked me to give you a message..."

Under the empowerment of a tyrannical force, Merlin rushes towards Yon Rogg like a shadow, the latter lifts his forcefield generator, but the shield is broken through by Merlin's fist.

"She's not your Vers anymore..."

"Bang"

Merlin places his fingers on Yon Rogg's arm, and as metal was torn, the forcefield generator was forcibly pulled off of Yon Rogg's arm and thrown onto the ground with sparks flying.

"Bam"

Yon Rogg raised fist is easily caught by Merlin's opened hand.

Merlin flicks his wrist outwards, and the pain of the wrist muscles being twisted made the Kree warrior couldn't help but let out a scream.

His bloodshot eyes stared at the Kree commander in front of him; under the empowerment of overwhelming strength, just like how the Kree suppressed him, the Kree warrior was forcibly suppressed by Merlin and he half-knelt onto the ground.

Yon Rogg struggles to take something from his waist which looked like a liquid in a metal container, but Merlin knocks it off his hand before he could drink it; he grabs Yon Rogg by the hair, looks at his distorted face, and says:

"Carol's free now. This is her break-up letter to you..."

Merlin raises the silver baton in his other hand.

"Remember to take it!"

Then, the baton which was flashing a cold light...

Abruptly smacks downward.
