Chapter 12

Drone & others arrived at the second village a day after departing from the previous one.

The villagers talked about their situation with the Village Chief & were accepted as part of the village.

Unlike the previous village's Chief, this one was well known to be of righteous and impartial character.

What made him anxious was the fact that the Master would be that disgusting faced man.

He also knew that Drone was loyal to that man & would happily give her up when asked for it.

Aaj Hie then remembered something & smiled to himself as he designed a scheme to protect his daughter.

He opened up his sack of medical herbs and quickly prepared a solution & mixed it with a bottle of wine.

He turned to his daughter & her beautiful face reminded him of his late wife. Tears welled up in his eyes, as his resolution strengthened.

[My dear daughter, from now on, you are the wife of our savior. You have to live with him from now on, so you must get used to it soon.]

Ella quickly straightened her posture & nodded.

[I have prepared a special wine, my dear daughter. Gift this to the warrior Drone & tell him it is the bridal gift from our side.]

Ella received the bottle from her father and looked at him. She became puzzled instead.

[Your father is poor, so I cannot prepare a big present, but you are my most precious treasure. Take care of yourself & write letters to me sometime...]

Ella hugged her father & cried heavily at their separation. He had taken care of her since she was young & had never let her suffer.

Aaj Hie looked at his daughter's departing back as he prayed to the Gods for his plan to succeed.

Drone was sitting alone in his room, since he knew Adrian would prefer to sleep alone.

The tough battle & their subsequent journey had exhausted him both mentally & physically.

He wanted to sleep as quickly as possible, when the room of his door was knocked from the outside & a voice enquired,

[Dear Husband. It's me, Ella. I have something to talk with you about.]

Drone knew he had to settle this mess before Young Master became too angry, since this woman belonged to his Young Master.

[Enter.]

Ella then entered the room, as she carried the bottle of wine & bowed in front of Drone.

[You must have suffered a lot, Dear Husband. My father wanted to gift you this wine. Please respect his wishes..]

Drone immediately wanted to refuse, but her charming face looked too pitiful, hence he sighed & took the bottle.
