Prince Teodoro ran and ran, right until he had reached the Duke's residence.

The soldiers at the Duke's residence didn't dare to stop the unruly man and the Prince went inside his father's room easily.

Prince Teodoro tried to dodge the Duke's attack, as he threw anything he could find to create obstacles in his Father's path.

After some time, the Duke had finally calmed down. He sat down on his bed and stared at his son kneeling in front of him.

The Prince, though, was busy tending to the injuries he had received just now.

The Duke looked at his son with a stern gaze and spoke,

[So, what trouble have you caused now? Don't tell me it's another woman you robbed somewhere?]

The Prince shook his head in refusal and spoke with vigor,

[No, Father! Monsters have invaded our Camp! It's not safe here anymore.. Let's run before anything bad happens!]

The Duke became angry again and smacked his son on his head.

[You FOOL! How long do you think I waited for this day to arrive?]

[And you want me to leave this place already? Hah! Fat chance.]

The Prince looked at his father unhappily and spoke,

[B-But Father... how about I escape alone?]

The Duke scoffed at his cowardly son and wondered who he took up after.

(...definitely not on me... must be his senile grandfather...)

The Duke came out of his thoughts, and spoke,

[Alright. If you think they are so troublesome, then take my best soldiers with you. I don't think ny monster around here would be able to take on 200 soldiers at once.]

[If my elite soldiers were not already dispatched, then I would have handled things by myself.]

[Go now. Don't make me remember your stupid deeds. Don't show me your face until you have dealt with your mess.]

The Prince didn't want to do anything and felt that running away was the best option.

However, he lacked the courage to speak up to his father & nodded silently, before he left to contact his butler about the battle arrangements.

After the Prince left, the Duke sighed heavily, before he muttered,

[Why did I have to get such a stupid son... only if I hadn't become impotent...]

The Duke mulled in agony, as he regretted angering his late wife. He caressed his limp dick with sympathy as he decided to leave the shaving for later

Inside a hidden chamber, located somewhere in the Camp.

Those belonging to the Camp Leader's faction had taken shelter here.

The Camp Leader, Emmaneula had created this place without the knowledge of any other existing Camp member.

She knew that she was creating enemies everywhere and had to secure a safe hiding spot if she ever needed.

This was where she had taken all of her close friends and ally's when the Duke started to act up.

Even until now, she was having a hard time believing that her own uncle was doing this to her.

Honestly, she still didn't hate him all that much. How could she, when the reason she was alive right now and had the status of the Camp Leader was the Duke himself.

If not for the risk he took for her all those years ago, he would have still enjoyed his power and prestige beside the King, rather than hiding in a small Camp like this.

While Emma pondered on how to deal with the situation, a messenger from outside slipped a note inside through a small crack in the wall.

Zendra quickly stood up and reached for the note. Upon reading it, Zendra's eyes lit up and she ran straight towards Emma and spoke,

[Camp Leader! Adrian, he is still alive! Here, read this!]

Emma raised her head and stared at the piece of paper, before she shook her head in resignation.

[He is only a man, all by himself. He doesn't have the qualifications to deal with the Duke. I... cannot risk my friends due to my selfish desires..]

Zendra stomped her feet and spoke in fury,

[BUT! Look here! The Duke's Elite force are not here right now. Adrian is battling the remaining soldiers by himself!]

[It is time now, Camp Leader. Stop hesitating. We have to act now, or else we will all starve to death!]

Emma certainly knew this fact and turned to look at her allies surrounding her.

All of them wanted to fight for the Camp Leader. She had done a lot for them & now it was time to repay her.

After making sure that no one opposed the notion, Emma stood up and grabbed her precious lance, before she declared,

[We are moving, everyone. Prepare for battle! It's either Victory or Death!]

[[[OOOOHHHH!!]]]

The surrounding personnel all raised their weapons, as they all issued their battle cry.

Soon, all of them rushed out of the place and under Emma's leadership, protected each other in a tight formation.

Zendra swiftly took down any attacker, as she acted as a scout and rushed to move forward.

Her eyes had a strange glow in them. It was hard to tell whether she was excited or delighted at that moment.

(...I am coming.. wait for me, Adrian!...)

The group swept through all opposition, as soon they could see the man they were searching for.

Tears slid down Zendra's eyes, as she quickly called out,

[A-Adrian!!]
