Chapter 9: Her Ship

3 years and two months after Alicorn's "Birth"

Alicorn is being led down a hall by the hand, Erik's leading her.

"Daddy, where are we going?" Alicorn asks with curiosity. 

"Today's a big day Alicorn." Erik states. "It took us nearly eight years, but we finished building your ship!"

Alicorn gasps. "Really?!"

Erik nods. "Yes."

"Yes!" Alicorn cheers. "Does this mean I get to go on missions soon?"

"Maybe, we need to do a final check on the sub and run some maintenance, and also build your rigging, then we'll see." Erik smiles. "Oh, I heard that your gonna get a sister soon."

"A sister?" Alicorn tilts her head.

"She won't be a sub, but an aircraft carrier. Her name's Unicorn, she's gonna be Azured soon, and then you'll have a little sister."

Alicorn smiles. "That'll be so cool! We can have tea parties and paint our nails, and sing music from the radio."

"Yes, you'll be able to do all of that, once we reveal you to the world, but they may still be a few years though." Erik then mutters to himself. "But the public's getting suspicious why so many resources are going to some unknown project, might have to reveal the nuclear weapons next month."

"Daddy?" Alicorn calls out.

Erik shakes his head and looks down at Alicorn. "Sorry, but right now we're gonna transfer some combat data to you."

"How?" Alicorn tilts her head.

Erik and Alicorn enter a room, the room where she was "Born". There are still two tanks inside, one empty and the other with the Siren Purifier inside, still floating with her eyes closed and no emotion. A large desk sits in front of the two tanks with multiple computers on it. Scientists move throughout the room, doing various things.

"We're gonna transfer a little combat data from Purifier, to you."

Alicorn looks at Purifier and a sense of unease and dread washes through her and she holds Erik's hand tighter. 

Erik winces in pain. "It'll be okay, Alicorn. I'll be right beside you the whole time."

"Promise." Alicorn looks up with scared eyes.

Erik nods and smiles. "I promise." He leads Alicorn down some stairs and to the empty tank.

A scientist walks up to Erik. "Everything's ready, sir."

Erik nods."Good, start with the procedure." He orders to everyone.

"Yes, Sir!"

A few scientists walk over and start hooking up various wires to Alicorn, she grows up comfortable. 

"it's okay, sweety." Erik assures her.

Alicorn nods as they hook up a few more wires then put on a wire headset on her.

"Ready?" Erik asks Alicorn as a scinetist puts a breathing apparatus on her.

Alicorn reluctantly nods and Erik helps her into the empty tank and he goes to the desk and types on the various computers and many screens pop up. One of which is her heart beat, and it's 90 BMP.

"Fill the tank." Erik orders.

"Filling tank!" A scientist yells and he presses a few buttons on a computer and the Alicorn's tank starts to fill up with green translucent liquid. Alicorn floats in the middle of the tank as it fills up to the top.

"Give her the sedative." Erik orders.

"Giving the sedative." A scientist taps a few keys and a robotic arms, within the tank, comes out with a syringe full of liquid and injects Alicorn with the liquid.  

Alicorn's eyes slowly droop and her heart rate drops to 70.

"She's down." A scientist says.

"Good, start the data transfer." Erik orders

A scientist taps a few keys on a computer and a screen pops up and he types a few more keys then a loading bar pops up, and below it says data transferring.

Alicorn is walking in a complete dark space, water ripples below her feat.

"So the humans have started the project?" A robotic female voice say throughout the void.

"Huh?" Alicorn looks around, but can't sport anything.

"Yup, and I have a plan." Another more psychotic sounding robotic female voice, rings throughout the void. 

"Oh? Do tell?"

"Hello?" Alicorn calls out.

"I'm gonna infiltrate and take this project for myself." The psychotic voice says with a laugh.

"Oh, and how will you do that."

"I heard the humans are looking for a siren, for this project of theirs."

"And you'll be this siren?"

"Of course, I want this project for myself, I want a new toy anyway."

"Well, good luck... Purifier, and if your plan fails, we'll be moving to Project Orochi."

Suddenly fire surrounds Alicorn and sinking ships.

Alicorn twitches a few times, and a beep is heard from a computer. 

"Her heart rates, spiking!" A scientist yells. "It's 150 and rising."

"Hold on, Alicorn." Erik mutters.

Alicorn shrinks as screams of pain and crying from the ships are heard.

"H-Hello?" Alicorn calls out in fear.

A psychotic laugh is heard. "Come on, this isn't a battle!" A few loud booms ring out in the distance as pillars of smoke rise up to the sky.

"200!" A scientist yells. "It's still rising."

Alicorn shakes as she walks through the bloody waters and past the sinking ships.

"Hello?" Alicorn calls out.

Suddenly she feels a presence behind her. "Found you~"

Alicorn turns around only to be meet with bright yellow eyes and a psychotic smile of Purifier. 

Alicorn screams and she turns around and runs away.

"Yes, run! I like a good chase!"

----

"250!" A sceintsit yells. "Sir, if it keeps rising, we'll be at risk of losing her."

"She can handle it!" Erik shouts. "Alicorn's strong."

Alicorn runs through the dark void as laughter echoes all around her, and suddenly she trips and lands on the water surface of the void.

Soft cries come from Alicorn as she curls up into a ball as the laugh echoes around her.

----

"We're nearing 300!" A scientist yells.

"Come on, Alicorn. Hang in there."

----

The laughter suddenly stops. Everything goes absolutely quiet. Alicorn sniffs and she props herself up and wipes tears from her eyes.

Alicorn stands up and looks around, and she gasps as she sees a figure in the distance, in front of a strange looking ship.

The figure turns and around and siren yellow eyes meet siren yellow eyes.

"Wh-Who are you?" Alicorn calls out.

"War never changes." The figure says. "No matter the era." 

Alicorn tilts her head in confusion.

The figure speaks again. "I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion."

----

"Data transfer complete!" A scientist yells.

"Her heart rates, dropping. 250! 200! 100! 70! We're in the clear!"

Erik sighs in relief and walks up to Alicorn's tank as Alicorn's eyes slowly open. "Hey, sweety." He puts a hand up to the tank and Alicorn reaches her hand out and puts it against the glass.

"WOW!" Alicorn yells. "THIS IS MY SHIP! ITS HUGE!"

Erik and Alicorn are in the mountain side sub hanger with Alicorn's ship all finished and on display.

"495 m (1,624 ft) of other worldly siren steel." Erik says and he motions to the sub. "Go ahead and connect to it."

Alicorn turns to Erik and smiles. "Really?" Erik nods. "Yay!" Alicorn runs up to the sub and looks up at the massive sub.

(if you need help seeing just how freaking big Alicorn's sub is, it's longer than the Empire State building,The Shanghai World Financial Center and it's barely shorter than One World Trade Center. The largest submarines, Which is the Typhoon-class at 175 meters. Yes, may have a small body of 4 feet, but her ship makes up for her small size.)

"Wow." Alicorn's eyes shine with excitement as she puts a hand against her sub. "Oh, this is so cool."

"Bind your ship to yourself, Alicorn." Erik calls out.

Alicorn nods. "Right." Alicorn puts a hand to her chest then slowly moves her hand away and a blue and black cube comes out. "Let's do this." Alicorn pushes the strange Mental Cube into the sub and it glows for a few seconds, before it dies down.

Alicorn stumbles back with a smile as Erik walks up to her.

"How do you feel?" Erik asks.

Alicorn looks down at her hands. "I feel like  I have a part of me now, that I didn't even know was missing."

Erik chuckles and puts a hand on Alicorn's shoulder. "That's good."

Alicorn smiles. "I also feel powerful." Her eyes glow with a dangerous glint, before it dies down and is replaced with her usual innocence. 

"Why don't we go get some ice cream to celebrate." 

Alicorn gasps. "Ice cream?"

Erik nods. "Yes, Alicorn, Ice cream. And I heard Yorktown was vising today,"

Alicorn throws her hands up. "MAMA!"

Erik laughs and he slightly panics as Alicorn runs out of the room yelling, MAMA.

"Wait, for me, Alicorn!" Erik yells as he chases after her.
