“sigh” Letting out a sigh she finally talked “I can see that you are all wondering why I asked you to come back here again when you were already here just yesterday…,”

“…well it’s very simple, this is because the situation today is drastically different from yesterday, we are at war and things change very quickly depending on the situation, and the moves that our enemy play, and yesterday night I was informed that our enemy Typhoon has moved,” 

“”What?””

Hearing her the expression of every god presents change for the worst

“What do you mean?!”

“Be more clear Hera,”

They urged her for more details about the situation as anxiety was spreading

“A few hours ago, our scouts, or rather the ones who survived came back with some terrible news, Typhoon left Purgatory with an army constituted of all types of monsters and is currently heading toward Demeter’s forest,”

Hearing where he was heading a lot of gods present were more relaxed, but it wasn’t the case for everyone, people like Hermes were worried about their sister with whom they had a somewhat good relationship with their up and down

“So he finally made his move, huh!”

“I’m surprised that he is not heading toward the forest instead of here,”

“Why would he go there first?!” asked Themis looking at Hera for her opinion

“We also heard that Poseidon left his palace with a reduce the number of thrust servants and is heading in the same direction…”

Those harsh remarks reminded everyone that it was indeed a possibility, before another heated debate Hera talks

“It’s true that we do not know what Poseidon is after, this is why…” looking at Hermes and the others child of her husband she announced

“…, we are already behind, so prepare yourself, I have already assembled a part of Zeus’ personal men and a great part of the army Olympus has also accepted to go with you, you will depart in an hour take this time to choose who among your close men you will take with you if there are volunteers you have one hour to come forward, but some of you will have to step up to replace the members of the army who left, nothing says that we will not be attacked in the meantime,”

After saying that she got up from her seat and simply left without talking to anyone else.

After her departure the room became loud as some were talking with their comrade to seek advice while others were thinking in silence, they all had some choice to make leave Olympus with the army or stay to participate in the tournament, fill the hole left in case of invasion, and more.

Demeter forest

The forest that had been given the name of her owner was a place that could only be described as green and luxurious right now, even more so than usual, the forest like most of the territory of the gods change following the mood of her owner.

Just by looking at the ripped fruit on the trees and the living being who seem to be equally beaming with energy to tell that she was in a very good mood

The reason why the forest was so luscious right now was that she had her beloved daughter with her even if it was due to unforeseen circumstance, even though if you looked closely, you will see that some parts of the forest was filled with holes, blood, ashes, and the most gruesome proof of the battle that ended not too long ago, the mountains of corpses that had been pile up together.

In a large and majestic tree that served as the house of the Goddess Demeter

“Mom please stops that,” said Persephone seated in one of the seats with a tired and exasperated expression as her mother was trying her best to feed her some fruit

“Just one last bit, for mommy,” with tears in her eyes and a pitiful expression Demeter implore her daughter until she relented

Lazily laid on a sofa near the fireplace with her long red hair trailing on the ground Hestia was looking at them half asleep with a warm smile

“Ohh, you two are so cute,”  

“Please make her stop,” begged Persephone looking at her aunt

“Don’t drag me into that plus she is just happy to see you after a while,”

“Well, it wouldn’t happen if she was less stubborn and just accept to come to see me in the underworld…” she turned her head to look at her mother before continuing “…with my husband Hades,”

“Huh, don’t talk to me about him, he took away my precious daughter…” after hearing Persephone talk about Hades, she began to throw a fit like a child and it was Persephone who ended up comforting her, that was the dynamic between the two.

While Persephone was trying to calm her mother, she didn’t notice that for a few seconds the cute behavior of her mother turns sharp and frightening as she turned her gaze far away for a few seconds before looking at her sister who gave her a sign in confirmation

Without alarming her daughter, she continues her little act for a few seconds and lets herself be comforted before leaving

“Well, I’m going for a little inspection, I will be back soon my precious daughter, don’t go anywhere,” Leaving those words she sank into the wood of the tree.
