Chapter 59: News and Updates

Hey guys!

Thought I'd let you guys know some things that have been going on.

First off, I've completed the developmental editing process for Book I, and I am now beginning the line editing phase. For those of you who are unfamiliar, developmental editing is more focused on... plot holes, fixing things that maybe don't make a lot of sense, and lots and lots of minor clarifications to make the reading experience feel more intuitive and natural. Line Editing, meanwhile, is much more about the basics. Dotting i's and crossing t's. That kind of thing. So, it's quite a bit less mentally stressful.

In the meantime, I've just completed Chapter 15 of Book II, and I'm considering whether to begin posting free chapters here for you guys. I am still editing, though, so updates will be sporadic. I want to maintain at least a 10 chapter lead for my patrons.

Also, I have started a little side project. It's a new novel (completely unrelated) called 'The Forbidden Ascension of the Nameless.' The title is still tentative. I'm only four chapters in to this one, though. You can read what is available on the patreon, if you are so inclined. I plan to start posting chapters once I've got a little bit more of a lead.

So! Question: Due to the fact that I'm planning on publishing all of this, most likely everything I have here so far will soon go away. So, should I start a new thread for Book II or just keep this old thread but with the understanding that eventually chapters 1-58 will vanish in the near future?
