Chapter 8: I’m Sorry

Hello, everyone. I wasn’t able to release a new chapter yesterday and I’m really sorry about that.

Going into this, I expected it to be difficult to keep producing content but it seems like I underestimated just how difficult it would be. This month I’ve spent the vast majority of my time thinking about the story and trying to finish chapters. If I’m not working or reading, then I’m trying to write. It feels like writing has taken over my life. But I just haven’t been able to reach the level of output that I’ve been aiming for.

Missing my deadline yesterday felt horrible. I know that there aren’t a lot people following this story but it still bothered me to let you guys down. I don’t want things to keep going this way, so I think it might be better if I take a break from posting until the end of the year and try to build up a backlog of more chapters. I want to be able to release content consistently.

Once again, I apologize for letting you down and I’m working to do better going forward. I hope that you’ll continue to read this series
