"*sigh*... It's three in the morning… and I have to get up at eight for my first class… Maybe that's why we were supposed to leave yesterday," I mutter to myself as I lay down on my bed, with my onesie on.

Mia had already gone to sleep in her room, so I kept my eyes closed until I fell asleep.

…

"So tired," I muttered to myself as my alarm went off.

The beeping activated my fight or flight instinct, so I immediately jumped out of bed.

"Fuck this alarm," I mutter, but the anger was washed away as soon as I noticed I had only ten minutes to get to class.

I was still in my onesie, but it was too comfortable to leave, so I just prepared my bag with my tablet that projected something akin to a computer and brushed my teeth.

Mom wasn't here, so I have nothing to fear about not changing out of my onesie.

As I ran out of my dorm, I noticed a stray hoverboard leaning against the front of the metal building.

I quickly grabbed it, but after I turned it on and tried to hop on it, it slipped out from under my feet, causing me to fall flat on my face.

I heard a snicker from behind me, and it was familiar, so I rolled my eyes.

"Do y'know how to ride a hoverboard?" I ask Sophia.

"Nah," She replies before running off, sticking her tongue out at me.

This little shit-

But before I could follow, I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"What?" I ask the boy behind me.

"That's my ride," He responds.

He's strong…

"Think I can catch a ride then?" I request.

"Sure, where you going?"

"Lecture hall four,"

"Alright, my first class doesn't start until nine, so I guess I can give you a ride,"

I stepped out of the way, letting him hop onto his hoverboard, and once he raised it way above the ground, I hung onto the bottom of it, avoiding the boy's feet which kept shifting upwards and backward down the board.

We blasted through the campus, and sometimes he looked as if he was about to do the trick but quickly remembered I was hanging by the bottom of the board, fighting for my life.

The board would go up and down, causing me to scrape my new shoes on the ground.

"Come on, man, I just got these," I mutter, rubbing the scratched surface of my white slides.

"Ah, sorry, I'll pay you back,"

"Nah, it's fine… I'll just buy some new ones. Anyway, see you around,"

I bumped fists with him before running off into the lecture hall.

…

Uhhhhhhhhh… Sooo…. Boringggg…

This class was more tedious than I expected… It was a world language, and obviously, it's Norwegian.

I sat there, slumped in my chair, listening to the male professor go on and on about things that seemed so basic.

We literally learned this in our first year of learning… Most people here have been learning for like six years, and they still don't get it.

"Miss in the back, please sit up," The professor kindly asks me.

"Is there an advanced version of this class?" I kindly responded, but my body posture said the opposite.

"Is there a problem with my class?"

"Yeah…"

"Please elaborate,"

"It's too easy,"

"Well, it's only the first day, and we just finished reviewing everything you should've learned in the past. If you were paying attention to the latest ten minutes of the class, then you would've not been saying that," The professor replies, an underhanded punch being thrown.

"I was paying attention," I respond.

"Then please recite everything I have just explained in Norwegian if you think you're that much of an expert,"

What a stupid question to ask somebody with a photographic memory.

"I 1397 ble Kalmarunionen dannet av dronning Margrethe. Men Sverige brøt ut av unionen i 1523-"

"Okay, that's enough. I'll let you take a test to move up to the next level later. But for now, please just listen to the rest of the lecture, and if you do manage to make it to the next level, I would recommend changing into some proper clothes as the students there are much more esteemed," The teacher interrupts me.

This class wasn't only just learning the language but also its history, so you have a deeper understanding of the overall culture.

You don't want to offend a person from that single place by bringing up something you thought it is normal, so… yeah.

"Okay," I responded bluntly.

…

And 10:00 on the dot, the class was released.

My next class wasn't until 12, so I decided to meet up with Sophia and Aria for brunch.

"How are you able to read your phone? I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but I keep forgetting. I mean, like one day you were suddenly able to use your phone like normal and even kind of play video games," I ask Sophia, who was having a light salad as she already had breakfast.

Aria was having the same, but I hadn't eaten yet, so I ordered a pretty extensive breakfast made up of sausages, a few eggs, and fruit.

"I would've had to download that thing for blind people on my phone where they can read their phone, but thankfully I can manipulate electricity,"

I understood immediately but Aria was confused.

"Basically, though it took a while, I am able to distinguish different electrical currents within my phone that have different functions… It took a really long time though because most currents are so similar that it's hard to distinguish between them,"

"Interesting," Aria mutters.

'Lucy! Tell me what the hell she just said!'

But that was only on the outside.

'She can read her phone through her ability to manipulate electricity,' I summarize everything Sophia just said.

"I see," Aria mutters with a stupidly confident face… that was meant to cover up her cluelessness.

I chuckled a bit before finishing my breakfast.

"What class do you have next?" Sophia asks.

"Ranked Combat," I respond.

"Oh, really? I was thinking of doing that but it seemed like too much work and I doubt I could even do anything in a capsule. I'm so used to seeing without my eyes that once my sight is back, I'll suck… So I just picked regular combat training," Sophia responds with a smile.

"Oh my god, you're so cute!" Aria shouts, spinning around Sophia and rubbing the top of her head.

"H-hey, I'm practically an ȧduŀt now. Stop treating me like a child," Sophia protests but Aria continued to pat her head.

This is so boring… I'm gonna find a dungeon once this class is done… I want to evolve…

I've had this sensation for a while now. It just recently appeared a few days ago… overwhelming bloodlust.

It wasn't my bloodlust that I had obtained but something coming from deep within me.

"Oh, I've been meaning to ask you for a while, but have you not had sėx with Mia yet?" Aria asks out of the blue.

"W-what the hell. What's up with that question?"

"Just askin'. You don't have to reply if you don't want to,"

"'Kay, then I won't,"

Aria clicked her tongue but suddenly smirked a bit, sending a bad feeling to set in my stomach.

What is she gonna do now…
