"Can I have some water?" He asks after ŀɨċkɨnġ his lips.
"Sure, sweetie," I respond before taking him to the vendor right next to the bread one, and I buy a cup of water.
"C-can you make sure i-it isn't poisoned?"
His words made my heart wrench as such an innocent kid had to make sure there was no poison in his water.
What kind of childhood has he grown up with so far?
"Of course," I respond before smelling the water first and then tasting just a lick of it, but what he didn't know was that this spot has been quite trustworthy as I've been drinking water from it for a while now.
"I-Is there any?"
"Nope!" I say with a warm smile before handing him the cup while also handing the fat vendor a cup of water.
He quickly fills his cheeks with it, but for some reason, it slides out of the side of his mouth.
"T-the water tastes weird," He says.
"Don't worry, this water is fine. See, I'll drink the rest, and then I'll buy you a new cup," I say with a smile, and so the boy smiles back.
Quickly, I chug down the remaining water before glancing over at the vendor.
"Thanks a lot," I say before flipping him another coin which he grabs and pours another cup of water.
"No problem," He responds, but suddenly, it felt as if my world was spinning.
I managed just bȧrėly to catch myself with the table in front of me, and the boy ran over, worried.
"A-are you alright?" He asks.
"You good? Do we need medical attention?" The vendor asked… but suddenly, everything went black, and the last thing I felt was my head hitting the wooden table.
…
"We got some pretty good prey, didn't we?" A deep voice suddenly causes my eyes to snap open.
I was in a dungeon made of stone bricks, and surrounding me were about ten men, and two of them I recognized.
The little boy… and the fat vendor.
"B-boy, what's going on here?" I ask the little guy, but he glances at me with a cold gaze, as if yesterday had never happened.
I glanced at the candle but also noticed I was chained down by an earthen material that a power stone user clearly made.
I could move up from the chair. In fact, I couldn't even move a single finger.
"You got a good catch. How about you have the first taste," The fat vendor from before says while glancing at me with ŀėwd eyes.
First taste? What does that… even... mean…?
"YOU FUCKING PIGS!" I shout, trying to kick my legs which were actually able to move, but that was because the material tying down my legs was gone, revealing my undėrwėȧr.
My face went pale upon seeing this, and tears welled up in the corner of my eyes.
The little boy approached me with lecherous intent, practically crawling all over him.
The innocent little boy that I knew was a complete facade.
The cute smile he gave when I handed him that moldy bread was a complete facade.
A fat man wearing tons of jewelry suddenly steps out of the shadows, and it looks like the boy couldn't say anything back as he returns to the group of guys.
Tears flowed from my eyes as my face was pale with horror.
"Stop…" I muttered through a shaky voice as the man stepped towards me, taking off his pants.
"I'm going to thoroughly enjoy you," He mutters before stepping beside me and ŀɨċkɨnġ the tears from my face.
I began to kick my legs back and forth, terrified of what was about to happen.
I wanted to throw up.
I couldn't help but scream in terror.
He then pulled back as I muttered,
"Astra… Big sisters…"
And suddenly, the gravity in the room was ten times thicker.
…
(Lucy POV)
We broke through the ceiling of the stone brick dungeon, with Astra leading the charge.
Her bloodlust began to overflow like a rampaging wave, and when compared to mine as of now… Mine was like a tiny drop of water.
The only thing you could see were her pupils, who had slimmed down to the max.
She then tore open her forearms, causing a river of blood to fill the room, which then pieced every single limb of the enemies inside the room.
The blood had also created a thin shield around Sophia, who was so terrified and scarred by what just happened… that she had already fainted.
"YOU BASTARDS!" She shouts as her flames cast a shadow on the stone brick wall next to her.
But it wasn't her.
It was the elongated face of a vampire with razor-thin pupils and lengthy, sharp dragon horns.
She then tore open her forearms even more, causing the blood to completely shave off the skin of every single bandit present.
They were all unaware of what was happening until they felt the searing pain of the air blowing against their flesh.
Even their own blood began to thicken, creating a blockage in their heart that made them scream in pain.
But, the room and surrounding city couldn't withstand her power as the building we were under had completely vanished into thin air by blood-red flames.
"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Astra sadistically laughed as she broke every single limb of one of the bandits.
His screams mingled with every other injury he had, and even when he fainted… the pain rewoke him once again.
"PLEASE! KILL ME!" He shouted, but Astra couldn't hear any of it.
CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK
Each and every bandit had their limbs broken, their blood flown backward, their brain slowly turning to mush… before dying… right then and there.
But, Astra continued to rampage as I saw what looked like scales, similar to mine, appearing on her neck and cheeks.
Her pupils continued to slim, and her fire burst even more as she tore the corpses apart until absolutely nothing was left.
"ROOOOOOAAAAAAAAR" She roared like a real dragon before a little voice caused her to pause.
