The hail of weapons not only pierced the horde but also created explosions of black and grey mist which instantly killed the humans.
But, if my plan was right… then the strong ones should still be alive as these blasts weren't nearly on the same level as Anubis.
As soon as the black smoke evaporated into the air with no trace left, I confirmed that my theory was correct.
There were still quite a lot of humans left but they were on the brink of death as they tried to suck in as much air in order to negate all the smoke corroding them from the inside.
I don't necessarily know how black smoke works, but my theory is that it is similar to toxic or poisonous smoke.
"Alright… and where's the boss," I muttered as I stepped on the human corpses and made my way to the black chair which was turned against the metal wall.
Is the boss sitting on it? I can't tell.
In order to get a better view, I walked to the side but noticed that the boss who had pale white skin and white hair… had died on the spot.
"Oh, that just makes my job easier then," I muttered before prancing over to the office chair, kicking him off, and then taking my seat.
"W-what do you want from us?" A man in front of the desk asks me before coughing up another mouthful of black smoke which caused him to stumble a bit.
"Do you know Tolf?" I asked.
"Of course I do," He responds.
"Then, you are now a part of Tolf. If you can't fulfill your missions, we'll just get rid of you so make sure to do things exactly how we say," I ordered the group in front of me.
"How can we trust that you are part of Tolf? Anybody can claim to be a part of it because nobody knows the faces of the leaders," He responds and I felt a bit flustered as there were people who were actually interested enough in us.
Do we maybe have a fan club?
"Oh my, you're making me blush…" I muttered and suddenly disappeared into a pile of sand which then reappeared on the large white desk.
I quickly came out of the sand with my sickles and placed them against each side of the man's neck.
"But, if you don't trust me… It doesn't matter. We have many other gangs and organizations under our control. Losing a few is nothing to us," I respond with a smile before sinking back into the sand, only to reappear in front of the building.
"Are you done?" Lucy asks.
"Yep, did you send the location to Charlotte?"
"Of course… alright, let's get some dinner and head back,"
We immediately walked to the pizza place across the street but before returning we all sparred a bit with no powers as everybody was a bit feisty.
This lasted until midnight and finally, when we arrived back at our apartment… we all collapsed onto our beds.
I have finally arrived at the underground city and immediately noticed the horrendous conditions these drug addicts and bandits were living in.
The stench was horrible.
The air felt thick and yucky.
But, the one nice thing presented to me were a few men who had come to take me to the place where the leaders used to originally live.
I was also notified of a woman staying there who was not only the top executive within Tolf, but also the very top boss of all the underground cities within this country.
The exponential growth was amazing and her extortion methods were just as inhumane as I expected from somebody who traveled the world with the leaders.
"I wish I could meet one of the leaders," I muttered before grabbing my white sword tightly and tying up my white hair.
My pale white eyes shone with determination as I was really nervous at meeting the top executive within Tolf.
I am only number three, behind Mason, but I've heard that the gap between Mason and her was like light and day.
Not only her actual power but also her power within Tolf which is said to move mountains.
Knock Knock Knock
Soon, we arrived at a large and rugged building that spiraled up to the top of the dome-like cave, impressing me as everything else here was pretty small.
"Password," A deep voice comes from the other side of the door.
"Thirteenth of the Twelve," The man behind me whispers through a small hole, and after a few seconds, the door quickly opens.
"We must check you all out first," Two massive bodyguards the size of mountains appeared in front of me and immediately began to pat us down.
I could also see even more massive guys down the elongated hallway… and they were strong.
Not just physically strong, but their power stones were so strong that their presences and auras mixed with it.
I had only just achieved this state and now I had encountered some people most likely as strong as me.
"Okay, please follow me," One of the men say and the people who had led me to this place followed behind me.
As we walked down the hall, I couldn't help but sweat from the amount of pressure each of these guys was exuding.
"Jesus," I muttered under my breath and after traversing up a seemingly endless amount of stairs, we finally reached the top.
"I must inform you of some things before you enter for your own sake. First of all, set away your pride even though you are an executive as it could get you killed. Second, do not speak unless you are spoken to. Third, do not ask for anything if she ever wants to reward you," The man in front of me says, his face a bit pale.
"S-sure," I responded as he was making me even more nervous.
The door to inside the room slowly opened and I was so nervous I felt as if I could throw up.
