'Hey… Is this the end?' I heard somebody's voice in my head but couldn't discern it due to the roaring monsters trying to escape.

Nobody replied, and I could see some of the girls about to cry.

The necklaces on our neck had cracked in half.

We could still fix it, but escaping right now was impossible… Not that we'd get to fix it anyway if we're dead.

VWOOM

A sharp beam of light suddenly destroyed one of the rocky mech's legs.

Another beam of light shattered the opposite leg, causing the mech to fall to the ground and the Write head to tumble out of his little bubble.

Rocks began to gather around him again, but a sudden burst of vines broke out from the stones and intertwined themselves between his limbs.

Once they had fully wrapped themselves around the man, they broke each and every limb on his body, causing him to scream in pain… of course excluding the neck.

The ground split apart like an earthquake had just hit, meaning we began to plummet to our death below.

Panic began to set in, but white lights quickly eradicated it that healed me in almost an instant.

I also noticed my friends were healed instantly, but no snakes wrapped them.

BOOM BOOM

I glanced upwards, noticing the Write head was now in a much bigger rocky mech suit made entirely from black stones that the beams of light had trouble penetrating.

The suit was giant and girthy, and it towered at an impressive 250 feet high and 150 feet wide.

It destroyed buildings with each step it took, and massive rock spikes half the size of the buildings protruded from the ground.

Shit… I'm still so weak… Even with the other girls, we wouldn't have won… Even if we manage to draw out the power multiplier, I doubt we would've won.

'Hey, I thought, in the beginning, you didn't want friends and wanted to rule over us with fear… What happened, Lucy?' Ethel chuckles.

'I guess I changed as well… Again,'

'Bastard was holding back,' Mia interrupts the sentimental moment.

'I mean, he was about to die… So why did he keep the act up?'

'Lucy?'

'Why are you asking me? I dunno,' I reply bluntly.

I did know, though… It was the runes on each of his rocks… It seems he was being controlled by the organization that has been meddling with my life.

They first tried to capture me, they managed to enslave Auntie successfully, and surprisingly they managed to enslave the most powerful man in New York.

Back when Auntie attacked me, I noticed a rune on the side of her neck. Though it was small, I managed just bȧrėly to get a glimpse of it.

But, I didn't realize it was a rune until I thought about it more as I had never noticed a mole on the side of her neck before.

"Those runes are quite troublesome," A woman's soft yet stern voice echoes through the surrounding area.

"*sigh*... I just finished eating… I'm gonna get a cramp," A soft yet stern voice of a man sighs before a golden glow appears behind me.

My vision was still blurry, and the shining light made it even harder to see who was standing beside the big ball of light.

My eardrums burst upon hearing an air-shattering sound, which came with a large burst of light so hot I felt my skin begin to burn despite me not even being close to it.

I winced in pain before feeling a warm white light touch my skin, calming me down.

The snakes wrapping my body were burned off, but the actual massive snake below me didn't even receive a scratch.

Ssssssss

Something burning could be heard, and the smell of smoke filled my nostrils.

I glanced up and saw the massive rock mech turn to dust… No, it was more like its entire torso had disappeared, leaving everything to crumble back onto the ground.

Krkkkkkk

Ice… Ice was the next thing I heard.

I could see the silhouette of the Write head in the distance, and he was struggling immensely.

Tears flowed from his face due to the pain, and his eyes were completely filled with fear due to the people behind me.

Rocks began to gather around his missing limbs while the butler from before stood in front of him, ready to protect his Master with his life.

Eyes filled to the brim with loyalty and determination clearly showed how strongly he felt towards his Master and it even began to get my adrenaline pumping again.

VWOOM

A beam of light shot straight through the stomach of the butler, killing him instantly, but the beam of light just bȧrėly missed the Write head's face.

Without remorse, he stepped over the butler's dead body with his newly formed limbs made from rock… but they were shot as well.

VWOOM VWOOM VWOOM VWOOM

Both of his arms and legs went limp, causing him to fall to the ground.

But before his ċhėst could land on the pavement, 5 dark figures burst open into jaws filled with razor-sharp teeth that devoured the Write head's body, leaving no trace left.

"Well, that settles that," A more mȧturė voice says and the vines protruding from the ground sunk back in.

Everything had been settled in instant and it was so fast I could hardly believe it.

Only a few people in this world could do that… And it was very obvious.

"Are you the Primordial Braves?" I ask.

"Mhm," A warm and tender voice replies and a gentle, familiar cold hand strokes my hair.

I sat up instantly, only to be pushed away by the other girls who began to fangirl over all the braves who stood before us… And not a single one was missing… Including Auntie.

My vision had fully returned to normal.

Tears filled my eyes as I sat on my heels, trying to wipe away the tears with my wrists.

They wouldn't stop.

More tears flowed from my eyes despite my efforts.

"I'm back… Lucy,"

I dove forward into her arms… bawling my eyes out, clinging onto her, making sure she wouldn't leave again.

...

(Unknown POV)

"Yeah, it was a failure. She ended up dying and the brave was released... Yeah, yeah, I know it was a bad idea to keep her around because it was obvious she gave herself up... Huh? No? Why would I ever do that,"

The man chuckled to himself a bit as he whirled around in his office chair.

"Oh, you think we can do that? I mean... Should I? Seems pretty stupid if you ask me... Okay, okay... Fine..."

He stopped the whirling black chair and snapped his neck towards the blank canvas beside him.

"Just kidding," He says before chuckling once again.
