Chu Feng’s expression was solemn. He felt a great pressure after inadvertently arriving at the end of the reincarnation cycle. He slowly drew the sword he had picked up on the long road here and adopted a serious expression.
Since ancient times, every creature had questioned where humans and other life forms go after death, and whether they reincarnate or not.
Thus, the legends of the netherworld and yin realm came into being. But who had ever seen them? Who could testify?
Even evolvers couldn’t touch upon these topics. The more powerful the cultivator, the more firmly they walked the path of evolution—there was no so-called reincarnation for them.
That was except for the evolvers of the various systems!
It could be said that whether they were ordinary people or experts of an evolved civilization, all creatures had been pondering whether or not they would still have awareness after death or if there was a next life. They wanted to know what form the next phase in life was and where the next stop lay.
This was a constant question since time immemorial, a profundity all primates had been searching for but have never found an answer to.
Now, Chu Feng had arrived to reveal this riddle and figure everything out.
Finally, it was their turn. They had arrived at the foremost point of the desert and the landscape had fallen precipitously. There was an ancient road ahead, stretching beyond the desert and into the unknown.
There were no stars outside of the desert—only darkness.
A small path snaked into the void. The soul tune rang out far in the distance and caused the void to tremble lightly.
They had arrived!
Chu Feng followed the large group forward and saw crowds of spirits falling down in front of him and vanishing.
The road ends ahead!
“Huh?!”
What was going on? Was this the end of reincarnation?
Vision was scarce in this boundless darkness, and even using one’s spirit to grasp the road ahead didn’t help much. It was as though the place had been devoured by eternal darkness.
Afterward, Chu Feng discovered that this so-called soul tune originated from the void here. It would draw upon one’s spirit and cause the soul to calm down. Then they would all jump into the endless darkness.
Chu Feng took several steps back, terrified. He had already arrived at the end of the broken path at this point. He hid himself to the side because he was afraid of being knocked downward.
He was especially guarded against the nine-mouthed creature behind him. This fellow wasn’t well-behaved and especially liked to bump into people, forcing them forward.
The impatient creature bumped into a group of souls and threw himself forward. Chu Feng watched on blankly as it vanished into the air.
“Goodbye brother, I don’t know where you’re going or if we’ll meet again in the future.” Chu Feng looked down. There were hundreds of thousands of souls jumping down in a constant stream. This place was like a dark abyss devouring all the souls.
He saw clearly that the more powerful spirits would reach further after leaping out, and the weaker ones would disappear soon after stepping out.
Chu Feng sat beside the broken road. He neither blocked the huge parade nor approached the edge. He simply sat there staring with great attention.
This time, he didn’t follow them in carelessly because he was in corporeal form. It would be fairly interesting if he were to jump down and become reincarnated.
Moreover, even if he were a spiritual body, he wouldn’t want to start everything anew. He liked how he was now.
Chu Feng observed for a fair length of time but failed to figure out anything. He simply couldn’t understand how these spirits had vanished mid-air. Could they have been reincarnated?
Afterward, he tried throwing a corner of his robe into the dark land and found that the piece of cloth also vanished.
Fairly shocked, Chu Feng muttered that he had sinned. If this path truly led to reincarnation, what if someone gave birth to a corner of his clothes? Chu Feng’s heart was filled with remorse.
“Thump!” He was nearly knocked into the abyss by a creature with three heads and six arms. Chu Feng instantly became furious because he had been attacked despite staying well out of the way.
He grabbed that demonic looking beast, despite it attempting to bite back, and said, “I’ll leave a mark on you and give you a lesson!”
He carved some words on the beasts spirit: “Chu Feng is my uncle!”
He then tossed the creature into the dark abyss.
Chu Feng sat there with nothing to do. From time to time, some especially powerful and violent beast souls would attack him. He didn’t hold back at all and retaliated by carving “Chu Feng is my uncle” on them.
Those that were incomparably powerful, he would carve: “Chu Feng is my elder brother!”
Recalling the heroic words “Li Gang is my dad!” from earth 100 years ago, he felt that his mischief here might cause a certain butterfly effect some time in the future.
However, Chu Feng grew numb in the period that followed and all-powerful creatures who came crashing toward him would be duly taken care of.
He never imagined that his actions would cause great changes!
It might not be evident in the short term, but at some point in the future, it would surely cause great waves.
Chu Feng had no idea how long he had been here. In the end, he would go over and fix up every powerful spirit and leave a “mark” on them.
Later on, he pondered over this matter. If they were really going to be reincarnated, ten years later, a group of heaven-bestowed geniuses would gradually mature, and they would have this warning carved onto their souls. Now that would be fun.
“I’m only looking to prove whether or not there’s a reincarnation cycle, an experiment born of a strict and responsible scientific attitude. Don’t blame me because I might find a new law in physics!”
In truth, even Chu Feng himself felt guilty. This discussion of physics might actually cause Newton to climb out of his coffin and fight it out with him.
He glanced about after muttering in a somewhat guilty manner. He seemed to feel something watching him.
“Huh?!”

Suddenly, Chu Feng discovered a super soul. It was a vermilion bird spreading its wings through the sky. It flew far with a single leap and pounced into the ends of the void.
Chu Feng found, to his astonishment, that some steps had appeared in the void. The vermilion bird spread its wings and grabbed onto it, hoping to climb up. But unfortunately, it fell down in the end.
A huge muddle-headed bug was accidentally dragged over when the vermilion bird flew into the air. When the bird started to fall, the bug borrowed the momentum to swing over to the other side and grab into a column with its tail. It succeeded in crossing over.
“What situation was this?!” Chu Feng was greatly astonished.
There was a world on the other side? The Vermilion bird had lost while an ordinary bug had succeeded.
Afterward, he no longer moved and sat there observing the place.
After a long while, an unyielding golden roc charged over and pounced toward the other side. In the end, that platform and stone pillar appeared once again.
No creature could fly here, so they could only borrow the momentum of the rush to charge over. The roc crashed into the side of the pillar with a thud and fell into the abyss with a mournful wail.
There really was a different world on the other side!
Chu Feng discovered that every soul was, in fact, jumping forward. They all wanted to cross over to the other side instinctively.
But none of them got as far as the vermilion bird and the golden roc.
Only super souls could touch the other shore and cause it to materialize.
Chu Feng was moved. There was a road past the end of reincarnation?
He waited here for several days, and the souls he had seen were in the hundreds of millions. One had to know that Chu Feng had seen most of them back at the grinding stone and ninety percent were evolvers above the level of golden arhats.
But they had returned to their roots after being crushed. Only super souls would retain some of their inherent abilities.
“There might not even be one golden arhat level evolver on earth, but there are so many here.”
Golden arhats were rare even on other vital stars. Chu Feng doubted whether the ones being formatted here were golden arhats from his own universe.
He suspected that evolvers from other realms were being sent over to reincarnate.
In the days that followed, he saw true phoenixes fail in their crossing. They crashed into the cliff on the other side, took a few steps upwards before falling down into the abyss.
At the same time, he saw what he suspected was a true dragon also fail in its endeavor. This place was like Equality for All Life. Even super creatures could hardly cross over to the other side.
Days later, Chu Feng was alarmed as he sensed something out of the ordinary. A fluctuation arose from the army behind him, followed by a rapid golden beam.
Chu Feng opened his Fiery Eyes and saw clearly that it was a humanoid creature with a radiant golden paper in his hand. There was nothing too special about him, but the light from the golden paper was enshrouding and protecting him. This person flew through the air and arrived near Chu Feng.
“He can fly?!”
After arriving, this person was still moving through the air, poised to fly over.
Chu Feng grabbed hold of one of his arms to try and obstruct him. That was because he never sensed any dangerous aura from him, neither did he feel that he was very strong.
As expected, he was stopped.
“Soul, why do you stop me?”
This spiritual body could actually speak. Even though he was confused, he still managed to express his intentions. He was holding onto the golden talisman with a dazed expression on his face.
“Who are you, why are you here?” Chu Feng asked in astonishment.
“I’ve forgotten. I can’t remember until I reach the end.” This person seemed to be sleep talking. He was a spiritual body and was emitting a spiritual wave which Chu Feng could understand.
Then, Chu Feng gritted his teeth and said, “You keep on flying, I’ll come along!”
Chu Feng had a feeling that this golden talisman was very powerful. If he wasn’t a corporeal body with the stone box protecting him, it was unlikely that he would be able to approach this person.
That was because the rune on the talisman was fairly similar to one of the dozens on the stone box.
This was certainly a heaven-defying item.
But he had no fear of it now because dozens of runes had appeared on the stone box, making it more comprehensive.
Just who had helped him write this talisman to protect him during reincarnation? The thought itself was fairly terrifying.
As far as he knew, the Deity Race, Dao Race, Quasi-Immortal Race, Buddhist Race, and the others had no reincarnation path to follow.
They were already the most powerful group in the cosmos!
Chu Feng no longer used his energy to confine this person. As expected, he once again flew into the air under the guidance of the talisman and started moving toward the other shore.
Chu Feng gritted his teeth and hung onto the man’s leg, in a bid to cross over in his corporeal form.
During this process, he felt a terrifying suction force from the darkness below trying to drag him down. That place looked like the reincarnation path leading to a new life.
This was an inexplicable sensation. Chu Feng really started to suspect whether it was the door to transmigration beneath him. Would one start a new life after dropping in?
In the end, he crossed over without any mishap. He and the man crossed over the darkness and arrived on the platform.
“Ah, dammit you sneaking ghost, you gave me a scare. What are you sitting here for?!”
Chu Feng nearly fell down while climbing the steps because there was actually someone sitting there and glancing down at everything below.
He finally reached the end with that fellow with the golden talisman.
Sitting at the highest point was a black figure. Discovering this person at such a time made even Chu Feng feel afraid. It was so sudden that he almost fell off.
