“A universe ranking focusing on young geniuses?” Chu Feng stroked his chin as he pondered.
Lady Xi blinked her eyes inquisitively. What sort of ranking was this? It was propagated from the dilapidated universe among the primal chaos. Who was involved in this?
She seriously doubted that the so-called dilapidated universe among the primal chaos was the midpoint between Yang-Realm and the netherworld. Perhaps she could return home if they broke through this area.
“I want to become number one in the universe. I want to go home and return to the world of the living!” Lady Xi shouted.
“Child, are you feeling feverish? Showing your face is basically commiting suicide!” Chu Feng touched her forehead before quickly moving his hand away and said, “Dammit, your forehead is boiling. Sure enough you have quite a heavy as your forehead nearly burnt my hand!”
Black lines appeared on Lady Xi’s forehead as she clenched her teeth and said, “You’re the one with the fever. I’m really cold alright? I’m from the yang world, so my body is not icy-cold like yours. This is already my normal temperature lowered!”
After that she became rather discouraged. Perhaps there were one or two especially powerful creatures in this world whose strength was just enough to open up a narrow fissure to the Yang-Realm so she could go back. But she didn’t dare reveal herself. She reckoned that all of the “ghosts” in the Yang-Realm would hunt her down once her identity was exposed.
Chu Feng took down a river deer by the mountain stream. He didn’t light a fire but after he skinned and cleaned it he immediately waved towards Lady Xi.
“What are you doing?!”
“Lend me your hand for a moment!” Rather naturally, Chu Feng pulled her fair and delicate hand over and pressed it on top of the deer.
“Ah, I’m going to kill you!” Lady Xi shrieked and shook her hand violently. She found it intolerable as she looked at the bright red meat.
Chu Feng was unperturbed and said, “Stop dodging. Let me see if it’s tasty to use Yang flames to roast game. Since you are always emanating heat like a furnace, it’ll be a shame to let it go to waste.”
“Lolita Chu, you’re infuriating me. Do you really want me to duel against you?!” Lady Xi flew into a rage from the humiliation.
“Come, bring it on. Let’s fight!” Chu Feng provoked. Indeed he wanted to weigh her up while conveniently embezzle her breathing technique and study her clever techniques.
Simultaneously he also wanted to witness the Yang-Realm’s real breathing technique!
With a humming noise the Heavenly Umbrella appeared and pressed against Chu Feng’s front. Little by little it revolved and a wisp of primal chaotic qi fell from it. This broke up the entire region’s mountain ranges, which shook slightly.
Even some of the wild ferocious beasts among the mountains were horrified. They shivered and laid on the ground as they bowed down towards this direction.
“Stop, I quit!” Chu Feng waved his hands. He couldn’t afford to offend this young woman from the Yang-Realm.
Only when the Heavenly Umbrella disappeared did he press towards her shamelessly and said, “Actually I wanted to experience the Yang-Realms breathing technique. Come on, teach me a section; it doesn’t have to be a lot. Let me see how extraordinary it is.”
Lady Xi casted a sidelong glance at him with despise. She had already saw through his intentions.
Chu Feng said, “Don’t glare at me as that’ll easily give me bad ideas. Another guy always comes to mind.”
“Who?”
“A very narcissistic… toad with golden stripes covering his entire body.” As Chu Feng finished speaking, he watched Lady Xi’s fine complexion turn dark as ink in a flash. Her face was even darker than the black yak’s and her voice was suddenly weaker.
“Chu Feng, why don’t you go die?!” Lady Xi lost her temper and continued to reprimand. “Have you ever seen a toad with such unmatched magnificent style? Bah bah bah! What am I saying? What I meant is, what’s up with your gander? You’re the one who’s a toad right? Who wouldn’t speak highly of such an adorable girl like me? I reckon if I were to participate in a beauty competition, I’d be in the top three amongst the Yang-Realm rankings.”
Chu Feng forced a smile and said, “I figured I said it wrong. But there really is a toad, called Ouyang Feng. He’s very narcissistic and is always claiming he’s the most handsome-looking!”
“What do you mean? Are you mocking me by calling me narcissistic? I’m going to stake everything against you!” Lady Xi’s beautiful face was dark as she flipped out completely.
Chu Feng was lacking in confidence as he was making matters worse.
Then as she dragged Chu Feng Lady Xi said, “Let’s go. Didn’t you want to experience the Yang-Realm’s breathing technique? I take you to see it. It’s not fitting here as there’s too much Yin qi!”
She pulled Chu Feng into the spaceship and in a whoosh the planet disappeared. They went into the sky and flew towards the sun!
“This is too hot. You think I like being burnt like you? I’m not some sort of masochist, go find your torture on your own!” Chu Feng shouted.
This was because when they neared the sun Lady Xi pulled him out of the spaceship. She insisted on taking his body into the sun and Chu Feng’s face turned green immediately.
Lady Xi said, “What are you scared of? You’re quite a ferocious ghost, a devil according to the Yang-Realm sayings. At your level getting close to the sun’s temperature is not a big deal.”
She pulled Chu Feng towards the sun, disregarding his refuting.
This was Chu Feng’s first time entering the sun. Then he found that he indeed could endure the temperature of the sun’s surface.
However the sensation became too unpleasant as they went further into the sun. He stopped her hurriedly and said, “It’s no good, I can’t go further. I don’t want to be roasted alive.”
“Ok, I guess here is fine.” Afterwards, Lady Xi started to work her breathing technique to show Chu Feng.
Bang!
In an instant raging stormy waves rose in the middle of the sun. This divine light was energy in its purest form and it bore into Lady Xi’s nostrils as she sucked it towards her in a flash.
There was a surge of Yang qi and it became too intense!
Chu Feng found that all of the fine hairs on Lady Xi’s body were glowing when she used her breathing technique. They were flourishing with divinity and the effect was rather terrifying.

He was shaken. This was the Yang-Realm’s breathing technique? Damn, its effect was just too unnatural!
Chu Feng was amazed. Now when Lady Xi was like a god when she engulfed the Yang qi energy and breathed naturally. She had a terrifying sense of oppression!
“Can you feel the phenomena of the Yang-Realm’s breathing technique?” Two bolts of lightning flew out from Lady Xi’s eyes, which were wide open. Now astonishing divinity and radiance filled her pupils. The sun, moon and stars floated in the depths of her pupils while others vanished. The sight was incredible.
Chu Feng swallowed a mouthful of saliva. Envious, he was desperate for this breathing technique.
“This can be considered as the strongest breathing technique in the Yang-Realm. Not many can compare against it. You… shouldn’t think about it for the time being as my grandfather will not let me teach it to outsiders!” Lady Xi said with a forced smile. She knew what Chu Feng was thinking of with just a glance.
Then, she appeared rather strange and said, “That’s bizarre. My breathing technique seems even more astounding than when it’s used in the Yang-Realm.”
After that her heart shok and she said, “Could it be that, as predicted by certain almighty individuals, one’s power increases having passed through the netherworld?”
Although her voice was small, Chu Feng heard her clearly and was greatly stunned.
“Yes, I’ve absorbed quite a lot of Yin qi over these past few days. Today it’s finally led to some sort of a reaction,” she muttered to herself.
“What are you on about?” asked Chu Feng.
Lady Xi replied, “Orthodoxies across the Yang-Realm have never been able to confirm the existence of the netherworld, but almighty individuals have had speculations. If there was truly a hell, a netherworld, then creatures whose bodies possesses Yang blood would grew stronger after practicing in the netherworld then returning to the Yang-Realm again!”
Chu Feng was rather lost in thought.
Then he too sat down and wielded the Robbery Induction breathing technique on the sun. Something astonishing then occurred and the surface of his body glowed. The Yang qi here was at its peak, its level greatly surpassing that in other areas. This was very beneficial for Chu Feng!
A layer of brilliance also appeared on the surface of his body. It was dazzling and there was even a divine mist was gushing from his pores!
“Oh, what a way. Your breathing technique is quite impressive,” Lady Xi said.
Chu Feng was quite surprised. The application was greater on the sun than anywhere else. More and more he began to believe that this was a breathing technique from the Yang-Realm.
Just then he had almost broke into the couldeater realm, but in the end he had managed to restrain himself. It was a close call but Uncle Ming had kept him under for the time being. He had almost made a breakthrough a moment ago because he had used his breathing technique up on the sun.
Lady Xi was suspicious and said, “That’s strange. If you carry Yang blood then the effects of your breathing technique would be even greater. At most it would be only a couple grades weaker than my breathing technique. Although it’s not one of the strongest, it’s nearly there.”
Chu Feng rolled his eyes and said, “How incredibly self-confident you are! Have you never heard of my breathing technique? It’s ranked eleventh across the entire universe!”
Lady Xi sneered at him before saying, “Nevermind the eleventh, the origins of your “Top Ten” can be found in the Yang-Realm. They’re all badly damaged, so how could they compete against techniques from the Yang-Realm?”
“You dupe, I know you’re just lying. You make it sound so serious. If you have the ability then teach me one of Yang-Realm’s breathing techniques!”
Lady Xi rolled her eyes when she heard this before saying, “Yeah right. Who’s the dupe? You want to trick me again into teaching you a special skill? The gateway is gone!”
Chu Feng practiced here for a while but then he truly couldn’t bear it any longer, because he would certainly make a breakthrough if he continued. He would enter into the cloudeater realm at any moment so he demanded to leave without delay.
Mumbling, he said, “We need to contact Uncle Ming immediately. I need to go and take all of the opportunities/fortunes in Xilin clan’s secret realm to enter the cloudeater realm at once. I simply can’t stifle it any longer!”
They set off once again, following the starry path before arriving at another planet.
A monument was already erected here, causing many of the younger generation to come and watch.
In fact, in various areas across the starry seas some of the better-known vital planets had too set up monuments over the past two days. They called these battle monuments!
The dilapidated universe among the primal chaos had brought about a talent ranking focused on the younger generation within the universe. This stone monument had a splendid air of Yang qi and was rather mysterious as well as bizarre. It could endure a genius’ attacks so their battle power could be determined.
“This monument is rather remarkable; it’s giving off a wisp of Yang qi!” Chu Feng was flabbergasted.
Lady Xi was also surprised. She felt that she might be able to find the path home because of this.
“Hey, have you guys heard? The Winged Godhead had emerged from hiding. In the fight back then, he had dared to contend against Yaoyao, the number one under the heavens, for supremacy. Yaoyao bled before she could extinguish him!”
“When Princess Yaoyao faced the enemy she was already heavily injured. She had fought against too many enemies.”
“Regardless, the Winged Godhead is incredibly terrifying. Now someone of such a constitution is emerging once again.”
There were many people in discussion in front of the battle monument.
This was because there was a rumor that in another part of the galaxy the Winged Godhead had went to test his powers immediately after he had emerged, and that this was happening right now.
“Goodness, what explosive and heaven-defying news! The Winged Godhead produced the mark of eight stars on the battle monument. How frightening!”
People were very conscious of how many stars there were, as the universe’s Four-Starred Imperial Court could rear quasi-divine beasts and roam through the heavens. Five-starred orthodoxies were even more formidable.
Those who exceeded five stars were superstars and were considered as top-notch orthodoxies.
Now that the Winged Godhead had emerged and produced the mark of eight stars on the battle monument, he seemed in defiance of the natural order.
“Why don’t you go and have a try?” Lady Xi glanced towards Chu Feng.
“Of course I’ll try. When I’m out in the wild, I massacred the enemies of the world. I’m back from reincarnation!” Chu Feng said with a manner of righteousness. He knew that from today onwards he needed to increase his exposure so that he could quickly rise to power. He need to become famous in order to advanced into the Dameng Pure Land and brush up his reputation.
