Chapter 714: Challenging the Land of Darkness Alone

Translator: Alsey Editor: Chrissy

The color of the moon resembled water. Chu Feng hurried over from tens of thousands of kilometers. After the great upheaval, the earth became incomparably vast and its surface area increased rapidly. But with his present speed, it didn’t count for much.

Especially since he had the jade green boat as his means of transportation. Soon, he crossed the sea and entered the depths of dry land, approaching Mount Wangwu.

Something great was destined to happen tonight!

Moonlight shone over the mountain forest and enveloped the entire region of mountains and rivers with a silver white sheen. As a result, the alpines, waterfalls, and large rivers had a hazy halo over them and appeared to be divine.

Mount Wangwu was in sight!

Since ancient times until now, there were many legends about this place and it was acclaimed to be the first paradise.

In the deep of the night, the mountain forest wasn’t serene. Wild beasts were roaring, and mutant beasts that folded space were howling too. One could see a ferocious bird covering the starlight after it spread it wings as though it was a cloud, casting a large shadow on the ground.

This was a primitive scene. Mount Wangwu and folded space intertwined with each other, and it was no longer the same as it was before since a long time ago.

Chu Feng had arrived in the deep of the night, wearing a cold expression of murderous intent. In his right hand, he held a large banner that exuded a drizzle of blood light and was incomparably bewitching—it was the Divine Blood Banner!

This was a great murderous weapon. He wasn’t here to joke around tonight, but rather he was going to start a massacre and kill the subdivision the so-called Darkness Overlord founded.

What Sky-Piercer? He didn’t care about that!

Since he had already opposed them, then he was going to fight to the very end and annihilate them all!

As far as Chu Feng was aware, the other party had already started a war with him so he wouldn’t show them any mercy. He was going to go all out and use all the arsenals at his disposal to annihilate them.

At this moment, even if he had come alone, he too saw this as a war!

This was his solo war against a darkness orthodoxy.

In the dim light of the night, he concealed his murderous intent as he advanced through the mountain forest in large strides without making a sound. It was as though he was the person in charge of murdering a ferocious tiger during the immemorial age and was now about to start hunting between the heaven!

Chu Feng was tall and had the appearance of an adult at this moment. His long, black hair draped over his shoulders and he had deep set eyes which hid all of his murderous intent within its depths.

He didn’t want to alert the troops from this darkness orthodoxy’s subsection in advance. He wanted to get close to them like a hunter and use their tactics to kill as well as to annihilate the Youth Training Camp and the old assassins here.

Mount Wangwu now had multiple spiritual peaks with purple clouds hanging in the air. It faintly bore the grandeur of a hidden dragon ascending to the sky!

Chu Feng stood on this piece of land, looking at the flowing light and overflowing colour as well as the existence of the extremely shocking level of rich energy. He squinted his eyes, listening and taking everything in attentively.

Ferocious birds and beasts roared lowly from afar. Demonic apes that were tens of meters tall stood atop a large mountain and howled at the moon. There were also silver-colored ferocious beasts killing the mammoths within the folded space.

In the deep of the night, this paradise was very hazy, yet very pure and holy. But the mountain forest reeked with the scent of blood.

This was very good because it was beneficial for Chu Feng to get close and convenient for him to assassinate and sweep across the land.

He entered Mount Wangwu’s strategic location and was slightly lost in thought. When the great upheaval had initially started, the Roaming Jade Temple of the three great mutant organizations had focused their attack on this area.

Chu Feng didn’t pay attention to what happened afterward, so he didn’t know what the situation was like here after the assassination organization took ownership of this place.

Other than that, Mount Wangwu had a secret realm here where the bereaved of ancient times resideded. But one could imagine that even if the people of Sky-Piercer had rushed over here at present, they were unlikely to dare to head deep into the secret realm.

After all, the world hadn’t completely recovered yet. It was very difficult for golden arhats to enter and most of the experts in the secret realm were at that realm.

Chu Feng searched for so long but he didn’t find the entrance to that secret realm.

“I hope the people in the secret realm are alright!” he said to himself. After all, when he was engaged in war with the Deities in Kunlun, the bereaved from Mount Wangwu’s and Himalayas’ secret realms had stood by his side and helped him.

Under the moonlight, Chu Feng looked like a lone wolf with had a chilly aura around him. He burst into this region alone and entered Mount Wangwu’s strategic location.

Soon, he saw a few corpses belonging to humans. They had been dead for an unknown number of years.

A cold glint flashed in his eyes. All the clothes and remnants on their dried up bones indicated that these were all native evolvers, humans who were born on Earth.

“The people of Roaming Jade Temple have been exterminated!” Chu Feng made this deduction because there were some communication equipments amongst those remnants that belonged exclusively to the three great mutant organizations.

In the depths of Mount Wangwu, the form of the mountain was vast. Old trees filled the area and silver waterfalls hung in suspension. Under the moonlight, it was extremely magnificent and didn’t lose its elegance.

He saw houses and noticed silhouettes. Those definitely didn’t belong to native evolvers. They came from the outer realm because they had wings resembling bats.

These were a branch of the winged race and were considered to be a very powerful race. They had wings made out of flesh and when they spread their wings, they left the ground and took to the air. They had strong bodies and when they were engaged in battle, they liked ripping evolvers at the same realm apart.

“They’re the Winged Race’s silver-winged branch!” Chu Feng was gradually understanding the races in the universe now and recognized their identity.

Comparatively, the silver-winged branch’s reputation was pretty good. It wasn’t that bloodthirsty but they had very strong combat strength. Once their anger was provoked, they would fight their opponent to their last gasp.

“Sure enough, I found a race that can stand in the light to shield.” Chu Feng was steaming with murderous intent.

Since this branch of Silver-winged Race and Sky-Piercer were standing together, they were considered to be their external troops so there wasn’t anything he needed to worry about. He would kill them without any qualms.

But he didn’t make his move immediately. His main target was that batch of darkness hunters.

Chu Feng advanced forward like an experienced lone wolf. He crossed the mountain forest and avoided this troop. The Divine Blood Banner was emitting a terrifying aura.

The density of the energy in the deepest regions of Mount Wangwu was extremely astonishing. As expected, it was an eccentric place with ghost-like silhouettes hiding in the dark even with a domain laid out.

Their breathing techniques were very special because it was as though the mountain and river had condensed into a single body. On the surface, one couldn’t see through anything but there were light balls that resembled the sun within their bodies, kept deep within their flesh.

Normal people practically couldn’t detect their true strength because they could conceal their bodies very well.

Evidently, the Pegasus Race wasn’t lying. The information they gave was reliable and true. This place really concealed a group of Sky-Piercer troops.

Chu Feng used his Dao Induction breathing technique to shut the life force from his body and stared at them. He blended into the night too and roamed about here, searching for this land’s strongest powerhouse.

He prepared the Divine Blood Banner for that person!

If not, he wouldn’t easily reveal this weapon under normal circumstances.

With the rare divine senses, Chu Feng now had on Earth, he only sensed a fluctuation that was so faint that it was close to nothingness after observing for a very long time. After a very long time, he found an old man living in seclusion in an area of woodlands.

He didn’t attack but rather frowned and got a feel of his surroundings once again. Not long after, he discovered the existence of two people with astonishing strength similar to that old man.

They were old experienced assassins who were close to the golden body realm. There were three of them and others who far surpassed this realm. The energy flame in their bodies were actually incomparably exuberant; it was just that they didn’t let it show.

Evidently, Sky-Piercer really cared about this place a lot and there was going to be a huge movement soon.

After which, Chu Feng was silent and started to lay down magnets in the mountain forest afar. He was fixing up a domain because he was not prepared to let a single one of them go.

Time was tight. He didn’t have time to set up a large, complex domain but it was enough to block these people.

Other than the three old men, there were seventy or eighty people. The majority of them were youngsters with shocking innate skills. All of them were good young successors.

Evidently, the young hunters who could come to the recovering land were elites the Sky-Piercer regarded as important individuals, so they were giving them the opportunity to rapidly evolve here.

That was because Earth was very special. It was currently recovering and was the treasured land in the eyes of the young evolvers from every race.

“I’ll send you all on your way!” Finally, Chu Feng made a move. He was like a ghost as he soundlessly closed in on the position where the old man was at. After which, he initiated a sudden revolt.

He used the Divine Blood Banner in his hands as a lance and let it flutter in the wind. He held it in both hands and stabbed at that target.

One had to say that the experienced hunters Sky-Piercer deployed were too impressive. He was incomparably keen and could actually detect Chu Feng’s vital energy during the crucial moment and rapidly dodged.

The main reason was because he was a hunter who walked in the dark. He was a master in various means in the domain of assassination and detected Chu Feng on the spot.

At the same time, his own strength was really too outstanding. He could be considered to be one of Sky-Piercer’s old golden medalled masters at the visualization realm that specially came here to develop the youth training camp.

He escaped this fatal attack by a hair’s breadth which made Chu Feng quite startled.

However, Chu Feng had prepared a long time ago. He used one of his strongest moves—a cave appeared in front of his left hand and turned into a frightening black vortex that almost sucked the old man into it.

That was because Chu Feng had a contingency plan. He had determined the direction where the old man was going to dodge and in the instant he stabbed the air, Chu Feng followed up too.

This old assassin’s expression changed. An unusual awn dramatically grew within his gloomy and cold eyes. He was like a roc that wanted to take to the sky, but he had to break free first before anything was to be said.

However, that cave was truly terrifying. It affected the speed at which he could unleash his attacks, creating Chu Feng an exceptionally good opportunity for another murderous attack.

Chu Feng waved the Divine Blood Banner in his hands over at that old man. The sound of it whipping in the wind rang out as it directly covered that area. One had to know that this wasn’t really a lance, but rather it was a terrifying banner.

The old man was horrified. The blood banner had just gotten close to him, but it managed to vaporize all of the vitality and blood out of him. It was too terrifying!

Boom!

In the next moment, brilliant rays of light exploded from his whole body as he used various trump cards altogether. However, that cave had swallowed many of his objects and served no purpose to him.

The banner covered him, making him dispirited all at once as blood qi frantically cascaded out of him. He couldn’t withstand this sort of engulfment.

Boom!

At the same time, Chu Feng used his spiritual energy to prompt the Divine Blood Banner while his right hand used the Yang world divine technique—Lightning Fist!

A wave of energy flared up and brilliant rays of light erupted. This old assassin had his body penetrated and was covered by the blood banner too. In the blink of an eye, he shriveled down and let out a long mournful howl,

He exploded with a bang and died a violent death.

Whoosh! Chu Feng put the Divine Blood Banner away and exchanged it for the Reincarnation Sword. He pounced in another direction like he was flying to kill his second target.

However, he was very unsatisfied. He actually didn’t kill him in a single hit, but rather he had inadvertently alerted the enemy of his arrival. Even so, he wasn’t afraid. He had just succeeded in undergoing a tribulation and saw a huge improvement in his strength. This was just the right time to test himself.

A sharp whistle rang out and shadows rummaged about in the whole region. All the assassins had come out in search for the intruder.

Boom!

When those people were aware of the presence of an intruder, Chu Feng had already crossed hands with a second old man. The battle was intense and terrifying crimson sword light ripped through the silence of the night.

The third old powerful killer was naturally alarmed. He turned into a black light and pounced over at lightning speed to rush to his ally’s rescue, wanting to besiege Chu Feng and kill him.

At the same time, the others finally saw Chu Feng.

Even if they were assassins and were heartless groups of people who knew how to control their emotions, some young hunters were still shocked at this moment and even cried out.

“It’s actually him! Chu Feng!”

They couldn’t hold back their surprise because they already knew that Chu Feng had annihilated their organization’s seed-ranked hunter in the East Sea and even chastised their darkness saint not long ago.

Moreover, a command came from the starry sky for them to take heed while they were living in seclusion and wait for orders. They were waiting for powerhouses at all times to come to their aid so that they could hunt and kill Chu Feng together.

How could they have thought that in such a short period of time, Chu Feng would sneakily find his way here and take the upper hand in revolting against them. Moreover, these were all things that happened on the same night!

Kill!

At this moment, Chu Feng exploded and went all out. Since there was no longer any need to hide, his aura surged up as violently as a river and sea. His blood and vitality boiled like lava in a volcano, wildly engulfing everything.

His Lightning Fist ripped the universe apart.

The light from the Reincarnation Sword seemed to make the world fade away.

Pfft!

An old man’s head flew up and crossed over his corpse. A group of people had just charged up and were about to assassinate Chu Feng, but seven or eight of them fell to the ground. One after the other, heads flew out and blood splattered everywhere.

The commotion here was too great and the whole of Mount Wangwu was alarmed.

Under the moon, Chu Feng resembled a great demon god with how incomparably callous he was. His sword light was glaring to the eyes and his fist marks were broad and majestic. He collided with the enemy as he massacred everyone in his surroundings, causing corpses to appear beneath his feet one after the other. Blood splashed everywhere and those who were struck by his Reincarnation Sword melted in a short period of them. Those who he struck with his fists split up into pieces and their remains flew in all four directions!

This was a massacre, one aimed at the darkness hunters in the starry sky. The coldblooded murderers had become his prey!
