Hina's POV

When I woke up my hands were chained. The cell I was in was locked. My skin was getting darker and darker. I wondered what was happening to me. My hands were small like those of a six or a seven-year-old. The feeling of the coldness I felt from the chains on my hands was only now being noticed. The chains felt like they were getting colder and colder. That feeling of coldness made me imagine the sight of liquid nitrogen dripping into the chains making them brittle and able to break. When I imagine this, the chains started to freeze as if there was actual liquid nitrogen dripping onto them and soon they became brittle. When I slammed the chains onto the wall beside me they broke into a million pieces. On seeing this, I wondered if that was a lucid dream. But immediately I remembered that I had unfortunately met my untimely demise so, I was not sure where there was. Deciding to focus on the now, I did the same thing on the lock holding the door shut as I had done on the chains holding my hands hoping it would work. Fortunately, it did work and the door lock was now frozen. Wasting no time I kicked the door open and the thing actually opened. As I started to walk out I felt excruciating pain in my leg, back and face. On looking at my leg I could see multiple bruises which all seemed to have been purposely inflicted. Determined to get out of there I continued walking through the pain. Slowly as I continued to walk, I saw two other cells. In one cell, I could see a girl with orange fox ears and an orange and white tail who looked a little older than the body I was currently in. Her neck had some type of metal choker. In the other cell, I could see two people. A girl with white wolf ears, hair and tail and a boy who exactly resembles the wolf girl in all visual aspects. They were all also wearing the metal chokers. I walked towards or should I say limped towards the cell of the fox girl first and froze the lock on the cell gate. Not having enough strength to kick it down, I tried asking her to kick it down. But it seems like she could not understand whatever I was saying so I gestured it to her. She seemed to have understood but immediately shook her head sideways rejecting my attempt of rescuing her. I could see her face fill up with fear. I tried so many times to convince her through gestures. At first, she was hesitant but she finally agreed and kicked down the door. When she did this, the choker on her neck glowed in an ominous red and immediately she let out a shriek signalling she was in pain. I went towards her as quickly as I could and did my best to freeze the choker. Luckily It froze and seemed to stop inflicting pain on the fox girl. We broke the choker and she was now free. With the help of the fox girl, I freed the wolf siblings from the cell and the choker. The four of us were now out of our cells. The now freed people pointed at my neck. My neck seemed to have a similar choker to them but for some reason, mine seemed to be broken. I froze mine off and they helped me break it. We soon started to move out. The fox girl saw I was in pain and therefore offered to carry me.  We then all ran with me behind the fox girl's back. As we approached the entrance we saw one guard. The wolf siblings sprinted towards him. The girl kicked him on the crouch. As he was still processing the pain the boy kicked him in the face knocking him out. On reaching outside we saw a lot of trees. It looked like the sun was just about to set. At a far distance, we could see a mansion. Seeing that the mansion must belong to the one who imprisoned us we headed in the opposite direction of the mansion running as fast as we can. We were running so fast that I could not believe It. Soon the mansion was out of sight all we could see were trees all around. It was now nightfall. I was now feeling famished and it looked like I was not the only one. Luckily we were around a forest with trees at a part where fruit trees were all over the place. The children picked up fruits which they deemed edible and we sat down and ate. As we were eating I felt a tiny headache, and then, I saw the face of woman with snow-white skin, pointy ears and some sort of crown. The fox girl had now put me down and healed my wounds through some sort of magic spell with some kind of chant. Now feeling satisfied and healed, I used the knowledge from my life on earth with ingenuity, skill and wits I made a makeshift tent where we all slept. When I closed my eyes I saw the face of the woman I saw before. Right after that, I saw the face of another pointed eared woman, the girl who I saw before I died then appeared in front of me. She explained that I was inside her body. Not knowing how it had happened she explained that our souls were somehow merging. Immediately after she said those words I started experiencing memories that were not mine. It was like I was reliving her life. She told me that she had already experienced my memories too. The woman who I had first seen seemed to be her mother while the one I saw second seemed to be her caretaker.  She requested that I find her caretaker so that I could meet her mother again and then vanished. When I woke up it was already morning. The children around me were already up and chattering the interesting thing was that now I could completely understand and speak their language.
