Chapter 33: Chapter 32

The knight rushed towards Nolin, who was no longer wearing the previously scavenged clothes; he only had his torn trousers on, and he had a brand new, bleeding cut on his chest. Nolin was surrounded by a burning green aura, and he was ready to face the back knight. The moment the girls noticed him, he was shocked, but he was too focused on the knight to do anything.

 

"DIE!"

 

Shouted the knight, and with great force, he thrust his sword forth, aiming to puncture Nolin's chest, but this attempt failed, as Nolin managed to Grabe the blade. Although he avoided being pierced, he was still pushed back into the wall; without hesitation, Nolin twisted the blade and pushed to the side, and at an incredible speed, he sped forward; with an open palm, he hit the knight's chest, causing a green energy blast. The blast collided with the knight's purple aura, but even after that, his armour sustained a hand print; and the knight was pushed back. Nolin jumped after him, and before the knight could stop sliding, Nolin put his hands on the two sides of the sword, slapped his hands together and slightly twisted the blade while he kicked the man's head with both of his legs. The knight let go of his sword and fell; as for Nolin, he spun around in mid-air and tossed the sword back to the entrance of the chamber.

 

Nolin quickly looked around the room and noticed the girls who were staring at him, but he had no time to spare; as the knight jumped up and after shook his head, he kicked off. Nolin instantly rushed towards him as well, and the two fighters punched each other at the same time, creating a purple and green explosion, which blasted them back. Nolin landed not far from the knight's sword, so he quickly grabbed it and, with all of his might, threw it at the knight, who that moment, was about to stand up. As Nolin threw the longsword, it gained a green aura, went through the knight's chest easily and hit the wall of the chamber on the other side. The knight instantly collapsed, and purple blood started flowing from his fresh wound.

 

"That was awesome!"

 

Shouted Liz, and the girls, except Unosika, started walking towards Nolin.

 

"We have to get out as soon as possible..."

 

Said Nolin and a large green magical circle appeared in the centre of the chamber.

 

"You really think that this will work? Are you an idiot? This is just a basic spell used for light!"

 

Shouted Unosika and pointed at the circle.

 

"Yes, with this one, unfortunately, I have to agree with her! This really is only used for lightning; it has no other use as far as I know!"

Added Finits, but Nolin only shrugged his shoulders and stepped into the circle.

 

"I don't care; I came here and risked my life to take you back along with me; I will not force you to come with me! Do whatever you want; my conscience is clear! But it really shows how clueless you are... It seems you have never seen complex circles before..."

 

Commented Nolin and the circle started slowly spinning around and started glowing brighter. The girls looked at each other and then walked over to Nolin. The circle got brighter and brighter, but suddenly the silence was broken by laughter, and a purple arrow pierced Nolin's left shoulder. And then dragged him away from the circle and slammed him into the wall; the moment he hit the wall, the circle erupted a blinding green light. When Nolin could open his eyes, the circle had already vanished along with the girls.

 

"Did you really think I would let you get away? Did you really think His Majesty was not aware of what you were planning?"

 

Shouted the man and started slowly pushing himself up. He was no longer bleeding; instead, his wound was burning with purple flames.

 

"His Majesty not only predicted what you would do but also how, when and where you would do it! And now I can kill you without issue!"

 

Screamed the man and was finally able to push himself up. Nolin, on the other hand, grabbed the purple arrow and shattered it and cracked his knuckles, and rushed over to the knight. After his first step, he created a green sword from his aura, and the man did the same. The two of them clashed, causing a devastating explosion which almost caused the ceiling to collapse. In the clash, Nolin had the upper hand and pushed the knight back. However, Nolin instantly rushed after him, and they engaged in swift, continuous clashes. Nolin was gradually pushing the knight back up where they came from; each of his slashes grew stronger and stronger, and the calve was collapsing around them, but due to the shockwaves generated by them, the rubble falling at them was all propelled away.

 

After minutes of intense clashing, they were finally back at the feet of the mountain. Nolin paused for a brief moment, and instead of slashing, he thrust his weapon at the knight, destroying the man's purple sword and piercing his head. The knight collapsed. That was the moment that Nolin realised his miscalculation and what he had been told previously, as the whole mountain was surrounded by thousands of knights in back armour. All Nolin could do was grin and grit his teeth; then, he was about to dash away, but something landed behind him and grabbed his shoulders.

 

"What the..."

 

Mumbled Nolin, and he quickly turned around to face whoever was behind him. It was Black, and with a single punch, slammed him against the stone wall of the mountain so hard that Nolin was pushed in and a large area around it cracked.
