"Nolin? It's good to see you again! Thanks again for yesterday... I am sorry, yesterday I forgot to introduce myself... Call me Finits."
Said the girl Nolin met yesterday twice at the park. The girl was smiling and then walked closer to Nolin.
"Yeah... no problem... let's just forget that ever happened, alright?"
"Erm... Can't do sorry; I have way too good a memory for that!"
"Great... By the way, here's your wand."
Said Nolin, and then he extended his hand and showed the red wand to the girl.
"Oh, great, I just came here to ask about how it is, but it seems the owner of this shop is really amazing, just as the rumours say."
Said the girl excitedly, and she quickly retrieved her wand and looked at it.
"I don't know what you did, but it feels greater than it ever did! You truly are a great master!"
"Young lady, I am afraid, before you take that wand, I will have to run a few tests to ensure that it works properly. This young boy was the one who repaired it; however, since this is a very complex and complicated wand..."
"Wait, are you saying that Nolin repaired my wand? Oh... now I understand."
"I wouldn't say that he repaired it... More like played with it... He is way too young, even if he understands how these wands are made, learning how to understand errors and problems; and also, being able to then modify the structure of the programming is very, very laborious..., especially for this wand! The kiddo only wants to apply for work... So please give me back the wand."
Said the elderly man as he reached out. The girl looked at him and then gave him her wand. The man and his wife then walked back into the smaller room and closed the door, leaving only Nolin and Finits in the store.
"Sooo... Nolin... how come you came here looking for work?"
"I think I already said part of it yesterday... Due to my leg, I can not do any kind of job I want, so I had to find something I could do, and of course, this was the only one I found."
"Oh, then why don't you come and..."
"But if I can work here, then it would be quite great... I think I am pretty good at repairing things. And this seems to be quite a relaxing job."
"Oh...erm... I see! By the way... do you have some time today?"
"Great question... I have to wait and see whether I will be hired or not... then I have to meet someone, and I don't know how long that will take, and things may come up, so I think I will be busy... Also, I don't know why you asked me, but due to my leg, I don't like long trips... "
"Oh, alright, I understand... I am sure we will meet again... this city is not that big, and we have already met three times in two days!"
Said the girl with a slightly dissatisfied expression. And soon after that, the door of the small room opened once again, and the two elderly approached Nolin and Finits. The man gave the girl's wand back, who, after thanking the man, nodded and left.
"50...55 if you do both!"
Said the elderly man and grabbed Nolin's shoulders.
"Sir, I don't know what you mean."

"You are hired. You get 50% for every repair you do and 55% if you also work in the shop. Also, are you comfortable handling the shop by yourself during the afternoon? We will take care of the morning since you said you were still a student."
"Erm... Yeah, sure, I can do that, but how do I know how much I need to charge for the repairs?"
"Don't worry about that, we live next door; when someone wants to request your repairing services, send them to us, and we will do the bargaining; they wouldn't take you seriously... just as foolishly as I did! Erm... Tell me, kiddo, how did you manage to repair that wand? I couldn't even find the error in its programming!"
"Sir... I believe you were looking for a break or some sort of major problem; however, this wand had a different problem. It could be used, but it was way too difficult to handle the spell and would easily result in some sort of explosion, right?"
"Y-yes, how did you know? Did you test it? I didn't hear anything like that happening!"
"No-no, I did not test it, I just studied its programming, and that was my conclusion. Let's just say it was purposely twisted. By the way, tomorrow, should I come after school right away, or..."
"As soon as you have time, kiddo; as I said, your wage will not be an hourly wage; from now on, we will leave reparation to you as long as you do not say you want to stop, which I hope will not happen any time soon!"
"Oh, I see, then I will come tomorrow as soon as I can... Goodbye!"
"Have a pleasant evening, kiddo!"
Said the man, and Nolin left the shop. However, the moment he left the shop, he noticed a familiar red car parked not far from the shop, and a familiar man was standing next to the car.
"Not him again... I have no time for this... FINE, I will listen to what he has to say!"
Thought Nolin, and then he started walking towards the man, who started waving the moment he noticed him.
"Good afternoon; I hope you have a moment to spare!"
Shouted the man as he adjusted his tie.
"Fine!"
Said Noline while walking towards him; he only stopped once he was next to the man.
"I believe we had a rough meeting today; I would like to apologise if I was too harsh and intrusive."
Said the man, and took out a small card from his pocket and gave it to Nolin.
"My name is Morni, and I would like to have a word with you if you don't mind... I am from the Special Agency For Unknown Species, or SAFUS for short. Please get in the car... I would like to have a private conversation with you, and of course, I will have to take you to my supervisor... I was ordered to do so, so sorry!"
"Only if you will take me home after we are done!"
"O-of course!"
"Alright, just make it quick!"
Said Nolin and got in the car.
