Chapter 1: Character introduction

Nick Von Combrie

Captain of the Shadow Guards, born as a commoner in the year 1257 in the Era of the 3 Empires Nick was than sold by his parents because he was incapable of using Magic or so they thought, he would live as a slave until he was 5, being rescued by the then crown prince of the Lizumy Empire and having showed exceptional combat talent was then trained to be a palace guard having finished his training at the age of 17 he was then sent to the front lines to gain combat experience fighting against the Vaden empire. He fought at the front lines for 6 years having only returned because of a severe injury to his left leg. But that also helped Nick because it somehow made him capable of using Shadow Magic a Magic only thought to be usable by the Shadow Guards. After that discovery and the coronation of the crown prince now king in the year 1280. As customary the Shadows Guard's of the previous king are retired so that all Shadow Guards of the new king are completely loyal. Nick was selected for a position in the Shadow Guards and completed training after 4 years. He then became Captain at the age of 27 and served without vacation until the disaster that was the Battle of Basin Canyon in the year 1292, where a returning army of 20,000 from the Lizumy Empire were ambushed by Zenith Mercenaries and massacred with witch Nick was currently traveling with and saw many of his closet friends from his days on the front lines mowed down in front of him and out of the 20,000 men ambushed only 400 escaped. A few weeks after this Nick asked for a 3 year vacation at the Maximilian Noble academy as a teacher hoping some peaceful years might due him some good. If you guessed things didn't go as planned.

King James El Lizumy The Second

Born as the Eldest son of King Fredrick El Lizumy. He was the eldest of 4 siblings all from the same mother. He would have 2 brothers and 1 sister. He would ultimately win the battle for the throne mostly thanks to his closet friend Nick, Who he would reward with the title of Duke and saw to it the rise of the Noble Family Combrie. Sadly his 2 Brothers who were deeply angered that their eldest brother got the throne attempted to launch a revolt to take back the throne 4 years later but under the lead of the now Captain of the Shadow Guards Nick von Combrie, was violently put down and both brothers were beheaded for there actions. While King James sister mysteriously disappeared after her older brothers were beheaded with no one being able to find her not even Nick.

McKenzie AKA Princess Isabella El Lizumy

Born as the only daughter and youngest of the children of King Fredrick. Isabella was considered a political genius as well as a master manipulator and Liar. She had her hand in many things some known and unknown. She mysteriously disappeared in the year 1284 the day after her 2 older brothers were beheaded. No one knows why she vanished although some conspiracy theorists in the slums so she manipulated the brothers into revolting so she could gain power through them. Of course these are totally just rumors and not in any way the truth.

Currently these are the only characters I have made and will update this list once I have finished making the entire character pool. I'll not make anymore chapters until I finish this list.
