Silvia and Amich were struck by the bustling and vibrant atmosphere of the town of Thains. The traffic was minimal. However, the streets were crowded with people of all ages, from young children running and playing to elderly couples leisurely strolling. The smells of freshly baked bread and grilled meats wafted through the air, making their mouths water. The buildings were tall and grand, with ornate architecture and intricate details. The central square was filled with vendors selling all manner of goods, from fruits and vegetables to handmade crafts and jewellery.

Silvia couldn't help but marvel at the sights and sounds of the town, feeling a sense of wonder and excitement wash over her. She had never experienced anything like this before, having grown up in the more rural and isolated regions of Astasia.

"Amich, look around us," she exclaimed, gesturing to the bustling marketplace. "Can you believe we're really here, in the 21st century?"

Amich nodded, his eyes wide with wonder as he took in the sights and sounds around him. "It's so different from back home," he said in amazement.

"We should be careful not to draw too much attention to ourselves," Silvia cast a wary glance around the crowded square. "We don't want those bad guys to find us."

Despite her caution, Silvia couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and possibility in this strange new world. She vowed to do everything in her power to protect her brother and keep them safe, no matter the dangers that lay ahead.

"Come on, Amich, we need to keep moving," Silvia urged her younger brother as they made their way through the town. The sun was still shining brightly, casting a warm glow over the bustling streets.

Although the town was a hive of activity, with people rushing about their businesses and vendors shouting out to passers-by, Silvia and Amich stuck out like sore thumbs in their ruffled clothing and wild, unkempt appearance. Despite this, they tried to blend in as best they could, sticking to the crowded areas and avoiding eye contact with anyone who might suspect them of being out of place.

As they walked, Silvia kept a vigilant eye out for any sign of the CRC agents that had been chasing them. They couldn't afford to let their guard down, not for a second.

"We need to find a place to hide," she whispered to Amich, her voice laced with worry. "We can't stay out in the open like this."

Amich nodded, looking around nervously. "Where do you think we should go?" he asked, his voice trembling slightly.

"Let me check." She stopped moving for a while to prepare her magic. "Kwahuta" After uttering this magical word, her eyes started to glow emerald. This spell released a massive Conscious Bubble across the town, one that she could only use to view her expansive surroundings.

“I’m searching…” Silvia scanned the area using her magical sight, searching for any sign of a place they could hide. Finally, her gaze landed on a dilapidated old building on the edge of town. It looked abandoned, and she hoped it might provide a safe haven for them.

"Come on," she said, grabbing Amich's hand and pulling him towards the path that led to the building. "We'll be safe there, at least for a little while."

On their way towards the old building on the edge of town, Silvia and her brother were suddenly confronted by a young woman named Jules.

With her sassy attitude and beautiful features, Jules seemed like the kind of person who was used to getting what she wanted. She was in a clothing store, adjusting some clothing while conversing with her girlfriend when she glanced out the front window and noticed Silvia walking by. What drew her attention to Silvia was the clothing she was wearing - clothing that formerly belonged to her. She was certain of this.

Jules rushed out of the store and intercepted Silvia. Jules's friend looked on in surprise at her behaviour.

"What do you think you're doing in those clothes?" Jules demanded, tackling Silvia about the clothing she was wearing and asking a barrage of questions about where she got them and so on.

Jules tugged Silvia’s sleeve and added, “Although they are dirty. I diffidently recognize the brand. I’m the only one who purchased this model. You thieving bitch! Where did you get it?”

“Huh?” Silvia was caught off guard by the sudden confrontation, she found herself sheltering Amich behind her thighs as Jules and her friend fired off a flurry of questions.

The clothing Silvia was wearing had been given to her by Chad, who used to date Jules. This was the reason for Jules's upsetting behaviour and her aggressive questioning.

“Aren’t you going to answer me?!”

As Jules's temper flared and grew more and more upset, Silvia tried to calm the situation by telling Jules that she didn't want any trouble.

“Please lady, just let us be. We don’t want any trouble.” Silvia started walking away with her brother, but Jules wasn't interested in having it.

“Where do you think you are going? I’m not finished talking with you. Get your ass back here!” Jules reached out and grabbed Silvia’s silvery tresses, moreover, she slapped Silvia across the face in a fit of anger.

Plow!

“Sister!” Amich, seeing his sister being attacked, couldn't control his own temper and responded harshly.

Growl!
