After entering the school, Ruan Yingyin went directly to teachers’ office, looking for her homeroom teacher Liu Qin. Once she found her, she walked over to her and said in a soft voice, “Hello teacher, I am the transfer student, Ruan Yingyin.”
The homeroom teacher of Ruan Yingyin was a female teacher wearing glasses. Hearing a soft voice beside her, she looked beside her and saw a petty girl behind her with a good face and gentle voice. The teachers smiled at Ruan Yingyin and asked, “you are the new student? The new semester has already started, why did you admit here late?”
Hearing the teacher questioning her, Ruan Yingyin was embarrassed. Her small face turned slightly red as she whispered out an apology, “sorry teacher, my admission was delayed for some reason.”
“That’s all right.” The teacher assured her as she handed her the ID card and said, “Take your ID card and these book and come to the class with me.” Liu Qin said as she pushed the necessary books to Ruan Yingyin. She was informed beforehand that a new student was transferring so she prepared the book for her.
Ruan Yingyin nodded and looked at the thick pile of new books on the table. She put down her bag in the table, stuffed all the books inside her bag before following the teacher to the classroom.
It wasn’t time for class yet, so there’s a lot of noise coming from every classrooms.
Liu Qin went in the classroom 2/6, she was the homeroom teacher of this class.
Class 2/6 originally had 47 students, now with the transfer student, Ruan Yingyin, the classroom total had 48 students. The desk was wider so two students could sit on a single desk.
Qinzhong is an aristocratic school, many children from rich families study here, so most of the students were a little haughty and didn’t like to separate from their friends. So everyone was sitting in the same position as the first year of high school.
The results of this sitting position was, there was only one vacant seat left in the class, which was on the desk where Jiang Xingyuan was sitting. The number of students in the class before Ruan Yingyin came was odd number, so it was logical that the seat beside Jiang Xingyuan was empty.
He was sitting in the last row by the window. His body leaning over and gaze down as he turned the pages of math book.
Jiang Xingyuan looked like a normal teenager but with a handsome face and elegant posture. Even flipping the pages of the book was emitting a noble aura. Sitting beside the window under the sunlight, he looked like a lazy predator taking a rest.
Liu Qin had been teaching in Qinzhong for more than thirty years. She was an experienced teacher in Qinzhong and had seen many kinds of students, from spoiled degenerates to dignitaries, but it was her first time seeing a student who was only sophomore but had the temperament of someone superior.
There was no one in Qinzhong who didn’t know Jiang Xingyuan.
He was famous for his notorious cold personality, because of the unapproachable aura around him, not only students but also teachers avoided him. No wonder none of these students dared to sit with him.
Liu Qin worked in Qinzhong for so many years, so naturally, she was well aware of the rules and regulations of the school. She knew that he was someone who liked to be alone and didn’t like noisy people. Thinking that Ruan Yingyin might feel uncomfortable sitting someone so introverted, she looked around the whole class and choosed a student from the front row before saying, “you go to the logistic department and move a desk here for your new classmate to sit.”
Ruan Yingyin’s eyes lit up hearing the teacher’s command. She also didn’t want to sit beside a moving refrigerator and have a death flag hover above her head all the time. But remembering the plot from the book, her eyes dimmed down again.
If everything follows the plot of the book, then she has no choice but to sit beside him.
Sure enough, when Jiang Xingyuan heard the teacher’s voice, he slowly closed the math book, and then raised his eyes to look at the podium.
Jiang Xingyuan had a handsome face with a strong sense of aggression. When he looks straight at someone, it was enough to make the person a shivering mess.

So the moment he raised his eyes to look at her, Ruan Yingyin bowed her head and tried to shrink herself into a ball like a hamster. But unfortunately she was in the classroom, so she could only step behind the teacher at best.
It was the first time Jiang Xingyuan had seen Ruan Yingyin since he was reborn. His eyes roamed around her body several times, remembering how she betrayed him in the previous life, a bloodthirsty aura started emitting from him.
He hooked the corner of his mouth and said to the teacher, “Miss Liu, isn’t there a vacant seat next to me? Why don’t the new classmates sits next to me?”
Liu Qin was surprised to hear him offering the seat beside him to someone. But since he already agreed, she didn’t let anyone bring another desk and told to Ruan Yingyin, “Ruan Yingyin, then you can sit beside Jiang Xingyuan.” Although she said so, she couldn’t help but feel sorry for Ruan Yingyin. Poor girl is probably going to get scared by him.
Ruan Yingyin didn’t want to but she didn’t have any choice either. Since Jiang Xingyuan already agreed, she couldn’t just request the teacher to bring another desk here. If she did, not only people would feel suspicious but Jiang Xingyuan would also get alert by her behaviour, which could impact her plan to change the destiny of ‘Ruan Yingyin’. So, she could only bit her lip, carry her big bag and walk towards Jiang Xingyuan.
The students of the class were quiet, everybody’s line of sight was concentrated on Ruan Yingyin body, not only because they thought she was pitiful but also because she was someone who attracted people’s eyes.
Ruan Yingyin was very beautiful, no wonder even the stoic Jiang Xingyuan choosed her as her deskmate. The students couldn’t help but speculate all sorts of dog blood plot drama in their mind as they looked at Ruan Yingyin.
But Jiang Xingyuan was doing completely opposite of what his other classmates were doing. He looked at Ruan Yingyin with his arm folded and cold eyes.
When he first met Ruan Yingyin in his previous life, both of them had graduated from highschool. The Ruan Yingyin of his previous life was completely different from the Ruan Yingyin now. She was already adult at that time, so her figure was also different. Although her personality wasn’t good, she had a soft but hot figure. The only reason he kept her as his bed partner was because of this.
But the Ruan Yingyin in this life was just a 17-year-old girl. Currently she didn’t have that voluptuousness on her. She was petty and had a very thin figure, even the smallest uniform looked big on her. But that face was same as the one in his memory. It was a face that if other people saw, they would feel the urge to protect. But Jiang Xingyuan only felt the urge to bully her mercilessly.
Ruan Yingyin had already reached the last row, to Jiang Xingyuan’s desk. The rest of the class dared not look directly at him, so they quickly averted their eyes lest their gaze collide with the devil. The boys in the class couldn’t help but sigh and feel pity that such a beauty had to go sit beside a devil.
Ruan Yingyin stopped beside Jiang Xingyuan’s desk.
He was leaning on his chair, his legs were stretched over in front of him, blocking her way to her seat.
Seeing him like this, Ruan Yingyin hesitated for a moment before plucking up the courage to look at him and request in a very soft tone “can you please let me in?”
Jiang Xingyuan only looked up and down her body but didn’t move his leg.
He looked at the face that matched so well with his memory. Although her face looked the same, it looked much softer than his previous life. Even her voice was the same as in his previous life, soft and would quiver if nervous. It was like a cat scratching on people’s heart and make people feel itchy.
She looked still innocent and hadn’t done what she had done in her previous life. Her eyes was clear and bright like a newborn baby.
But in Jiang Xingyuan’s eyes, her existence was a thorn to him. She betrayed him, so even if she was innocent and didn’t have the chance to betray him again, it still didn’t mean he would let her go.
He would never let go of those who dared to betray him.
