“Ah! Is this Silver?!”

Shocked exclamations sounded one after the other as two and two were put together. Realizing that the young man that now stood in the ring was the mysterious third personality, Silver, the crowd quickly turned restless.

“Silver? Are you Silver?” Atenisha herself, taken aback by the suddenness and strangeness of the sensation felt, asked in a shaky voice.

Silver slowly opened his eyes. “Yes, I am Silver.”

The confirmation sent a ripple through the venue. The audience was ecstatic to finally see him in action.

Similarly stocked was Atenisha. She had also desired to someday meet him in person, however, never thought she would actually get the chance to. So, his unexpected appearance came as quite a shock to her system, but one that induced a great deal of pleasure in her.

Her enhanced senses fell on him without gravity’s aid; studying and noting the differences between him and Ralf and Ray.

‘The look in his eyes, his domineering aura…there’s no mistaking it, he’s something else entirely. So intense, so…’

Atenisha’s thoughts vanished from her mind as primal instinct overcame her. Her breath quickened, her heartbeat sky rocked and blood raced through her veins, all in anticipation - no hope for what would come next.

Her left hand slid down her body in hopes of reaching a certain region, but luckily or unluckily, depending on which perspective one used, Atenisha managed to reign in her nature as she passed her belly button.

Then, in an attempt to hide her momentary lust-induced loss of control, she had her hand glide naturally towards her hip side where she drew out her knife, as though that was her initial purpose. She held it for a moment as though inspecting its sharpness then slid it back in the slot. Completing the action, she gave herself a mental pat on the back at playing the action off.

And in truth, most of the audience didn’t suspect a thing. However, the same couldn’t be said of her opponent.

Seeing that he had seen through her, a rare trace of redness visited Atenisha’s face.

“Aha, umm, so you’re actually Silver. It's an honour, I never thought I’d get to meet you.” She rushed these words out of her mouth as she attempted to clear the abashment from her system.

“Nice to meet you too…Atenisha Adela.”

“No need to be so formal, call me a-ten, everyone else does.”

“Oh,” Silver’s lips curled up, “Aten huh, well, I can’t argue with that.”

Atenisha smiled sweetly at the words. With the exchange, the female fighter managed to regain her usual balance.

“Good to hear. I take it you’ve inherited Ralf’s tastes then.”

“I’m a perfect fusion, so yes. Though, to be honest, of the two, Ray is even more partial to your brand of charm than Ralf is..”

“Oh, so he’s a liar. That’s no good.”

Silver nodded. “That’s what I tell him too.” He reburied the tip of his sword into the dirt and resumed his stride. “I’ll begin my attack when the circle is complete, until then, feel free to ask whatever questions you want.”

The crowd jolted at the words. There was no one who didn’t want to trade places with Atenisha at this moment. Raiken knew they had many questions to ask Silver. Unable to voice them, they stared holes in Atenisha, in hopes that their burning questions somehow tunnelled their way into the female fighter’s mind.

“Ah, then, first question, why did you show up now? I heard you’ll only appear if there’s a worthy opponent placed in front of you, can I take your appearance here to mean that you think me, worthy?”

“In a way, yes. Though, more deciding than your worthiness, was my other selves’ unworthiness. I’m only here because if I wasn’t, they’d lose.”

“Hmm,” Atenisha liked what she heard. “That so, aha it seems I’ve underestimated myself.” A proud smile hung from her face. “Next question. What’s your ideal type, lover wise?”

At the question, a three-word phrase jumped into Silver’s head. However, as he read it, he quickly flung it back to the depths of his subconscious. It was a phrase best not uttered out loud. Having done so, he went about answering the question using different words.

“Beautiful, strong, confident, considerate, fun to be around, accepting of my strange circumstances, and finally capable of withstanding my affection. This would be my ideal lover.”

“Ideal lover, hmm, that sounds like me, doesn’t it?” Atenisha mused out loud while cupping her chin and gently thumbing her full lips. Not waiting for a response, she moved to her next question. “Silver, have you ever had sex?”

“I have, though only once.”

“You have?” Atenisha’s eyebrows raised high. She asked the question as a means to transition to her offer. She didn’t expect him to have any experience, the timeline just didn’t add up.

‘When and with who? Surely, this would be big news if it had happened since he awoke. Hmm, could it be that he had sex before he entered a coma? To have sex at thirteen or under, that’s crazy, but then again, I wouldn’t put it past him.’

Running through the string of thoughts at lightning speed, she naturally probed into his mysterious first time.

“How was it like? And who was it with?”

“How was it like?” Repeating, Silver’s expression couldn’t help but turn sour. To say the memory that flashed through his head was unpleasant was a gross understatement, it was traumatic.

After a few seconds, he said, “It was a terrible experience, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever felt.”

Atenisha’s smile faded at the words. Sensing the seriousness he spoke with, her attitude adjusted.

“Silver, was it-”

“It was consensual,” Silver quickly clarified as he noted the possible misunderstanding. “It was consensual, and between adults. My partner, hmm, I can’t remember what her name was, but there was nothing wrong with her. She was gorgeous and as skilled as one could be. The fault lied with me, that’s all there was to it.”

Hearing this, Atenisha and many others broke out into relieved sighs, especially Hana who was hearing about this for the first time. Even when suspecting that her son was telling a lie, she couldn’t help but be relieved that nothing untoward had happened to him.

This story wasn’t fictional. Silver’s words were accounting an experience that Ray (and by extension Ralf) had experienced back in his previous world.

It sounded absurd to think Ray had sex, but it was true. Ray, for all his abnormalities, still couldn’t escape from the primal lust that infected so many of his species.

He had a strong aversion to others, still, he couldn’t help but be attracted to the fairer sex.

Living his hedonistic lifestyle, he sought out all sorts of pleasure. Naturally, he was curious about the so-called ultimate pleasure. Still, his aversion to others was more strongly felt…at least initially. Over time, his pent up lust continued to grow heavier and heavier, until eventually, it was more weighty than his desire to reject all others.

Reaching that point, he decided to go for it, but he wasn’t flippant about how. He wanted it to be a pure business ordeal, no strings attached, no emotions involved interaction in which he essentially treated his partner as a living sex doll. With these criteria, he decided to see a high-end prostitute.

Very conveniently, he happened to be in Amsterdam for a chess tournament. He, after much back and forth, visited an establishment and shot his shot.

But shoot his shot he didn’t - or rather, the whole experience was a shot in the foot.

It didn’t start off horrible, in fact, the opening moments were great, everything he expected and more. Lisa, the high-end prostitute was the establishment’s best employee for a reason, she worked her magic well, squeezing out every drop of pleasure to be had from the experience. However, this well of pleasure quickly dried up as Ray’s natural disposition reared its ugly head.

Two minutes into the session, he seemed to come to, and realize exactly what he was doing. Looking into her eyes as he thrust his hips, he felt the walls around his heart begin to collapse. While he wanted to treat her as nothing but an object, his nature prevented this. He couldn’t separate his emotions from the act by just thinking it so.

Once the mental wall collapsed, the pink ocean of pleasure stirring in his heart collided with the darkness in his mind and within a second, that ocean was dyed pitch black, transforming all feelings of pleasure and fulfilment into that of disgust and rejection.

Struck by these feelings, he immediately separated from Lisa, who was left confused and bewildered, and then disgusted herself as Ray collapsed to the floor and threw up the contents of his stomach.

In her mind, she believed he had drunk too much, but that wasn’t the case. The intense physical reaction was induced through emotional overload alone.

Those thirty seconds on his knees, completely naked, cold, trembling and sick to his stomach, with her judgemental eyes on him, was something that Ray would never forget. It left a deep scar on his soul, and following the experience, he, too traumatized by the memory, never attempted to have sex again or even get close to another again…well, until he arrived in this world. For reference sake, this happened six months before getting hit by the truck.

“Sorry to hear that. I’ve had a few duds over the years, but nothing close to what I’d call a bad experience,” Atenisha said, her golden gaze showing pity as it tracked Silver’s motion.

Silver shrugged. “It is what is it. Can’t do anything about the past, the future though is a different story.”

Atenisha nodded. “Agreed, carving out the best possible future is what one should focus on.” She turned her body ninety degrees before continuing. “Silver… my best possible future involves you, sometime after this, doing a different kind of battle. What do you say?”

“Is there a need to beat around the bush at this point?” Silver couldn’t help but say. His opponent had an odd sense of shame to her.

Atenisha’s face flushed at the point. “Fine,” heart quickly filling with frank flames, she laid it out straight in a loud voice. “I want to have sex with you after this match, hot steamy wild sex, all throughout the night and then some. How do you respond?”

Stating her desires as plainly as that, Silver and the crowd listening were reduced to mutes.

Not getting an answer, Atenisha moved to strengthen her case. “Since I’ve been doing it, I’ve had all sorts of lovers, with all sorts of problems. Still, no matter what it was, we made it work in the end, and everyone involved walked away or couldn’t walk away… satisfied. When done correctly, sex is one of life’s greatest pleasures.”

She proclaimed the grandness of the act with a sense of passion and duty. “It’d be a shame for one who clearly has sexual desire such as yourself, to miss out on the act due to one bad experience. So, allow me to show you the wonders of sex, and just how amazing it can be when done right.”

Ending it there, the female fighter shut her lips tight and honed her sights on Silver’s face as she awaited an answer from him.

Silver didn’t answer immediately, not for some effect but due to some serious pondering. Even with his thoughts surpassing the speed of light, the internal debate dragged on forever.

An eternity or three seconds later, his lips parted and his answer spilt into the air.

“A most tempting offer…but I’ll have to decline.”
