“You better thank me. If I didn’t get involved, you would’ve died a lonely old man forever suffering a one sided crush.”
When Seungju claimed arrogantly, Sejin frowned. Sejin glared at his cousin while Sunghee looked at the two men in confusion. As if he was telling her a big secret, Seungju whispered,
“On my first day at work in our office, I noticed that this guy couldn’t stop staring at you, Sunghee. Yet he couldn’t even make a single move, so I needed to do something. On that office dinner, I pushed you toward him. Things began to work out for you two since that night, right?”
Sejin argued,
“But you interfered much more than that. If things didn’t work out, I would’ve hurt you real bad, Seungju.”
Seungju shrugged and replied,
“I’m sure Aunty would’ve stopped you from killing me. I mean, she would never let her son to become a murderer, right?”
Seungju chuckled at his own joke. Still with an annoyed look, Sejin pulled Sunghee closer. All Sunghee could do was blush and smile.
Their wedding was an extravagant and luxurious event. Sunghee was at first worried Sejin’s parents might not like her, but to her surprise, they welcomed her with open arms. Sejin insisted he wanted to get married as quickly as possible, but it took time to plan a proper wedding. In the end, Sejin and Sunghee got married three months later in the middle of the summer. It seemed that Sejin could finally relax only after the wedding. After they got married, he couldn’t stop smiling all day every day.
Sejin continued to work in the same office, but not for long. His dream had always been traveling the world, and he was able to convince his parents to let him and Sunghee do it. Sejin’s parents allowed it, but only until Sunghee became pregnant. Sunghee and Sejin didn’t have any specific plans to have a baby, but they thought the best thing would be to have one child in a year or two.
After Sejin quit, Seungju was to take over the company. Sejin believed Seungju would make a much better CEO. He decided that he would find another job after traveling the world. Sunghee wanted to do some painting while she traveled, and when she returned, she planned on helping her mother-in-law run her company.
“Anyway, I can’t believe you thought it was a good idea to travel the world at your old age, Sejin. But whatever. You’re a rich boy, so I guess you can do whatever you want. Cheers!”
Seungju joked as he raised his glass. Sejin seemed to want to punch his cousin, but Sunghee stopped him. In the end the three of them raised their glasses together and celebrated.

On their way back home, Sejin pulled Sunghee to a dark alley. Sunghee was a little drunk, so she giggled and leaned against him. She whispered,
“Are you saying you wanna do it outside?”
“Well, we’ve already tried it once. Remember?”
“On the beach on our honeymoon? Ugh, that was so uncomfortable. Those sands… Just thinking about it makes me shiver,” Sunghee muttered.

They had a blanket underneath them at the beach, but the small particles of sand ended up in every crevice of their body. It took many days for them to get them out, and it was very uncomfortable. But it was true that the sex was very memorable.
“So are you saying you wanna do it in the alley?”
Sunghee blinked and asked. Without a word, Sejin pulled her toward a building. When she saw the bright sign, she finally realized where they were. It was the hotel they first made love on that office dinner night.
“Oh my!”
When she whispered quietly, Sejin smiled. He asked,
“Do you know where this is?”
“Yeah, I do, but… You wanna sleep here tonight?”
“Yes. To reminisce about our special night, of course.”
Sunghee giggled and followed him. After getting the key from the front desk, they headed toward the stairs. Sunghee staggered a little, but with the help from Sejin, they arrived on the third floor safely.
When she opened the door, Sunghee blinked. The room was filled with roses, and the bed was covered with rose petals. She stared in surprise as Sejin closed the door behind them. She pulled her toward the bed and whispered,
“This is the place where we first slept together. Do you remember?”
“You know very well I don’t.”
Sunghee looked both a little angry and apologetic as she replied. Sejin nodded in understanding and murmured,
“It doesn’t matter. This is where we first began, so I thought it would be nice to do it before we left to travel the world.”
Sunghee grinned and wrapped her arms around his neck. She whispered,
“Okay! I would like that.”

Sejin picked her up and placed her on the bed gently as he kissed her. It was already very late in the night, but it was still young for the both of them. This hotel was where everything began, and tomorrow, they were going to have another new beginning traveling the world.
