You nod and gesture for him to calm down. "Yes, of course you deserve to be treated well. But, you must understand that they'll eventually storm the place. Basically, they're waiting for reinforcements and more powerful weapons, and I don't think that skin of yours will protect you against them."
As you say this, he looks down at his abdomen, shaking his small head and looking concerned.
Then, with one of his hands he strikes against a shelf, sending cereal boxes all over the supermarket. "I don't want too goo too jail! I haven't killed anybody—I just wanted too eat! I havee thesee powers! Why should I continuee too livee likee a beggar?!"
