Chapter 4: 4

The broadcast described how an enhanced human was trying to rob a small supermarket, but someone sounded the alarm.  All employees and customers have managed to escape the building, and the burglar appears to have now barricaded himself inside the supermarket, with the police blocking all roads leading to it.

 Descriptions point to an insect-like shapeshifter, with heavy armor of black scales and dark, cockroach-like wings.  It is unlikely that he is very powerful, otherwise he would have been easily dealt with by the officers who arrived at the scene.

 What was his main motivation to intervene?
