Chapter 1: prolouge

The Aneelroop empire was considered a land blessed by the gods. The empire was full of life and vigor. There are four great houses that support the Aneelroop empire: the ducal house of Bronte; the marquis house of Ignatius; the marquis of Adira; and lastly, the count house of Amaya.

Well, that is all I know about this world. Since I died and was reincarnated as Luke Bronte. 

The woman who is holding me is my nanny. She has short brown hair that reaches her shoulders. If I heard correctly, her name was Lily. 

"Young Master doesn't really cry too much, does he?" said Lily.

"Yes, he's kind of different from any other child from other houses since most of them cry." said the other maid.

"well he does try to speak sometimes" said Lily

Well,  I'm 24 years old in my previous life. I'll only cry if I'm hungry or my diaper is full.

I haven't seen my mother nor my father's faces. I was born in the last 2 days, so I think my mother is resting for now, and since my father is a duke, he's working, but he should still meet his child at the least. but not that I care because I'm already an adult in a newborn body.

"Is the young master sleepy?, then have a sweet dreams young master" asked Lily as she decided to put me on the baby craddle.

Guess I'll sleep because I have nothing to do today, or more likely, there is nothing I can do because I am still a newborn child.

On the next day, Lily decided to read me a story book about the demon-human war 20 years ago.

"Your father is Duke Valentine Bronte, and he was one of the major contributors to the demon-human war 20 years ago." Lily said while reading a history book.

Also, according to history books that Lily read, magic does exist. They are made up of six elements: fire, water, air, lightning, light, and black magic, and each person can only have one attribute of those elements.

The Bronte family consists of lightning mages, which means I also have a knack for lightning magic. Isn't this exciting, given that magic does not exist in my previous world

Then suddenly, there was a knock on my door.

"Lily, her grace wants to meet Luke," said a woman's voice.

"Yes, head maid, I'll have to carry you for a bit, young master.," said Lily.

"Now, young master, you'll be able to meet lady Diane, your mother," Lily said, smiling warmly.

"Aye" (yeah)

So Diane was the name of my mother. I am also quite happy to be able to meet my mother. It's been 3 days after my birth after all. There's a two-room distance between my mother's room and mine. Why is that? Well, since I'll be able to meet her, there's no need to think about this.

As we arrived at the front door of my mother's room, the head maid, who seemed to be in her mid 40's, knocked on the door.

"Young Master Luke is here, your grace," said the head maid.

"Enter," said a young, gentle voice. As we entered the room, there was a young, beautiful woman sitting on the bed. She has long black hair that reaches behind her back and sapphire-like eyes. She is sitting on the bed with a sad, gentle smile on her face.

"awoo kyui" (she's a beauty)

But why does she have a sad look on her face? Does she have "baby blues"?

As we approached, Lily exclaimed, "Isn't he cute, your grace?"

"Yeah, he surely is," said my mother as she touched my right cheek.

I smiled and touched her index finger as she cared for my right check. 

But I'm hungry now, so as a new born, I'll now cry.

"ungyaaaaaaaaaaaa ungyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

As I cried, my mother looked confused and didn't know what to do. Yeah, she really does have the baby blues since it's her first child. She must be confused quite a lot.

"He must be hungry," said the head maid.

"Here is your milk, young master," said Lily as she gave me the baby bottle with milk in it.

"I'm sorry, I didn't even notice it," said Diane, with a sad look on her face.

"Don't worry about it, your grace; because it's your first child, it's natural to be confused, and most mothers experience this confusion differently, so you can leave it to us the maids to feed and change the young master's diapers".  said the head maid, as she wore an expression of quiet confidence.

"But I want to take care of him since he is my child," said Diane.

"Then we will assist you, your grace. We will teach you how to hold a new born child," exclaimed Lily.

As I was drinking my milk, Lily picked me up and taught my mother how to hold a child.

"when bottle-feeding, cradle young master in a semi-upright position to help him with swallowing while supporting his head in the crook of your elbow and his body along your inner forearm. Avoid feeding your young master when he’s lying completely flat, as this can create a choking risk. " said Lily as she passed me onto mother

"li-like this" said mother

"yes like that your grace" said Lily

Then, suddenly, my mother smiled. "Thank you, Lily," said the mother happily.

"Since the young master is done drinking his milk, we'll teach you how to hold him when burping," said the head maid.

"Hold him upright while you rest his head on your shoulder and support his head and back." Use your other hand to softly pat his back. " So said the head maid as she carefully instructed my mother.

Then my mother gently patted my back until I burped, and I fell asleep after finishing my milk.
