Chapter 24: Arc 2 Chapter 8 : Day 2 on the Mysterious Island

After waking everyone up and lifting the curse from them Amilia and Yuuji began to explain to them what had happened and that it was a curse put on them from the island 

Knowing that most of the adventurers were terrified because they just came to make quick cash from a commission because the commission was 1000 golden coins 

"We have to get going we can't stay still we don't know if this is the only curse the island can put on us"-said Yuuji remembering what he heard in his head before 

"I agree with him we don't know anything about this island and we should get moving as quick as we can"-said Kazuma 

"I'll be going with you two. My name is Kamahara Kazuma, I'm a wind crystal holder"-said Kazuma looking towards Yuuji and Amilia

"My name is Amilia and next to me is my friend Yuuji"

Looking at the adventurers they saw that no one was volunteering to go explore with them and they understood it after all it's a traumatic experience that left some of them unable to talk for a bit.

They started packing their stuff most importantly a torch since they're going to be exploring in the middle of the night.

Then Yuuji, Amilia and Kazuma got going to explore the island. On the surface it's just a sand beach with a forest in the middle so they decided to walk along the beach first for 2 hours before entering the forest.

It was a forest that had trees with thick leaves almost blocking out and light coming from outside and the torch really proved useful. 

after walking for a little bit they heard a really high pitched voice

"Get away from my walnuts or you'll regret it!"-?

"Huh ? this isn't the same voice i was hearing?"-said Yuuji confused 

"You were hearing it too ?"-said Kazuma looking at Yuuji with a surprised look

"What are you both talking about i didn't hear anything"-said Amilia 

"We have to keep going"-said Kazuma with a serious look on his face

"I said. Get away from my walnuts!!"-?

"Who are you? Show yourself at once!"-said Kazuma while taking his sword out

"Hey! hey! calm down! calm down! Fine i'll show myself"-?

"Tada! here i am surprised about seeing such a beast aren't you ?"

What appeared in front of them was a talking squirrel not a giant one but a normal sized squirrel 

"Too speechless from how majestic I am I can see not too surprised tho I'm the fantastical beast ,Gojo!"-said the squirrel again

"Umm sorry if i sound rude but, are you really the island keeper ?"-said Yuuji 

"Island keeper ? naaah not at all i'm just someone who lives in the forest and likes to collect walnuts"-said Gojo 

"Do you know where we could find the island keeper"-said Kazuma still having his sword in his hands

"Woah woah calm down there buddy i ain't a hostile creature and no i don't know where the island keeper is if it even has one"-said Gojo 

"If you're lying to us you can wish your head goodbye"-said Kazuma threatening Gojo the squirrel

"Kazuma, calm down he's saying the truth"-said Yuuji looking at a scared Gojo 

"I'll be honest with you everytime someone comes to this island something weird happens tho they all turn into mindless creatures i don' get it at all"-said Gojo again

"Please, Gojo could you explain more"-said Amilia being polite 

"Thank you, young lady. I don' know but i see them arriving at the island happy and full of energy and the next day they're as brain dead as a walnut"-said Gojo explaining the weird occurrences

"I warn you tho some area down there has a ton of traps i don't even dare to go there and i'm a magical beast"-continued Gojo

"Let's head further in"-said Kazuma

"Woah buddy! are you insane ? i said there are traps there!"-said Gojo 

"We need to find the secret of this island it's a commission and i won't back down"-said Kazuma with a serious face

"We're coming with you too. Thanks ,Gojo"-said Amilia with Yuuji nodding his head in agreement

"No problem, young lady. Be careful on your ways travellers"-said Gojo
