Sitting around a large wooden table, Aziel shared his very first meal in his life. Unlike in the past where he tore into the raw flesh of his conquered prey, he finally could enjoy a more civilized experience somewhat similar to his past life.

This meal Aziel had shared with the extended Green family was not unpleasant by any stretch of the imagination. The Green's strictly followed the traditional table manners, which meant no chattering while eating.

However, Aziel didn't mind the silence. His mind had already veered off to the memories of his past life.

'It's been quite a while since I had such a peaceful meal… I wonder, what they would be doing… Are they still alive? Or have we already fallen?' he pondered wistfully.

While bustling about between the kitchen and the dining room, Mrs. Green managed to pause for a minute and spoke to the new boy, "Aziel dearie, it's your first time visiting Greytop City. Although it was not of the most pleasant of circumstances, you could try to take a walk around tomorrow. I am sure Jake, Jay, and Myra to take you to go to the city center. I'm certain that all that gloom will be washed away and replaced by the experience!"

"Thank you." Aziel accepted the offer without thinking too much about it.

The boys (and Myra) agreed to the request as well, they still felt that they owed Aziel their lives. At the same time, they had the chance to learn more about him in the process.

Dinner was over Aziel bid farewell to Mrs. Green with a smile.

As soon as he walked out of the house with Lydia and Myra coming with him, the mature lady leaned over and hugged the boy's right arm.

"Come Aziel, let's go home! I'm sure you are tired after everything that happened… A good rest is what you need now! Tomorrow you can Myra can go explore the town!"

Seeing her mother's actions made Myra feel displeased in her heart. She frowned and snorted at the scene she folded her arms below her chest.

"What is the problem, honey? Is something bothering you?" Lydia asked, noticing her daughter's strange reaction. She felt surprised, she understood the clear, obvious signs of jealousy. 'Does she take a liking to him?' She wondered, a mischievous smile stretching across her face.

Soon, they were already on the road, arriving in front of a huge, grated, luxurious metal gate. A small guard post was erected at the side.

Noticing the Madam's car arrive, he hurriedly pushed on a red button, hitting one of the very few available options in his post.

In the following moment, the large gate buzzed loudly as it slowly drifted to the side, opening the way to the lavish, extravagant mansion that awaited them inside.

The small neatly trimmed hedge followed along the short bright yellow road that led the way towards the marble staircase of the entrance.

As they slowly drove in, Lydia took fleeting glances over the rear-view mirror, flashing a satisfied smirk as he noticed the wondrous, shocked gaze of the boy sitting at the back.

"What do you think, dear? I know it's rather humble, but I hope you will like it…" She asked amidst her growing smile, fishing for even more reactions.

Aziel nodded at the question, only responding with a short, curt 'Humm'. His crimson eyes gazed at the outside, and whilst he looked surprised, inwardly he was battling the surging memories.

The sight that he was shown reminded him of his home and the subjects of his previous life. He couldn't help but sigh. Ever since leaving his seclusion, he was haunted by these visions of the past. His past lingering resentments were like vicious little demons, that, like parasites, leered on his soul.

He heaved a softer sigh and shook his head, clearing his mind from these troubling, haunting thoughts. As his vision cleared up again, he looked at the mansion once again. After everything that he experienced and the many new mass he had absorbed, he needed some time to properly fuse them with his humanoid core.

At the same time, he also wanted to go over the knowledge he had collected from those thugs as well as from the vice captain's hidden plan and his connection to the harbor's secretive group.

Faking a yawn, he looked at the entrance with a drowsy look on his face.

"Ah, you must be exhausted after everything you went through!" Lydia spoke. Parking the car, she hurried to the boy's side, taking his right arm as her own once again as he stepped out.

Without waiting for a response, she stepped forward, guiding and escorting Aziel into his new abode... Into his new life.

"Finally… Alone!" Aziel exclaimed, heaving a satisfied, contented sigh, as he closed the door to his new room behind him.

If anyone asked him to summarize his experience with this new home of his, he would probably say 'Luxurious. Dream-like. Unbelievable. Lavish'.

He could go on and on about it. Just from looking at this incredible mansion from afar, one would be astonished. Standing atop a hill, it looked like the lord of the surrounding community.

Each mansion was attended to by a sizable crew of staff, chefs, maids, butlers, gardeners, security, guards… You name it, they had it.

This unbelievable building had its own tall, white marble walls protecting it, with a humungous grated gate barring entry to anyone that wasn't on the registered list. Several rough-looking men, all donning black suits, sunglasses looking more like secret agents than that of regular security that the other residents hired. Each of them had this strange, cold, fearless aura, a presence that said: 'Don't mess with me!'.

A huge kitchen, Dining Room with a full staff attending to it, looking more like a specialized restaurant than anything less awaited their precious guests, Lydia, and her family.

A fully decked gym, a huge library full of books... a garden in the backyard to take a rest among the carefully attended flowerbed... It was clear from the quick house tour that this Lydia, Myra's family was well-off.

To be honest, it was somewhat surprising and bewildering how such a supposedly noble girl, like her, would befriend such a mediocre pair of boys as Jake and Jay.

Eventually, after more than an hour of introductions, Aziel was finally shown mercy and was led to a white oakwood door at the end of the second floor's main hallway.

Whilst he was exploring the mansion and was driven all day, Aziel sensed the ebbs and flows of energy around him very carefully.

Although the air was rich, the [Aether] was not static. It flowed like an invisible current, always heading towards the area with the lower potential. It acted similarly to water, with denser spots on rare occasions would pool together. As the saying went: wherever there was the sea, there would be desert as well. Some places were dry, lacking any meaningful amount of this world's unique energy.

Luckily the room he was now in, was one of these unique spots, with a slightly higher concentration of [Aether].

Walking into the center of the room, he discarded the clothing he was forced to wear and plopped down on the floor, sitting cross-legged, facing the door.

Sitting at the center of the room, Aziel let the breeze come in from the open window to comb through his hair as he relished the refreshing cool air from the lake.

He closed his eyes, slowly allowing his consciousness to drift and sink down to the depths of his soul, he entered his soul space where the globes of essences have floated around like miniature planets around the twin stars of his [Aether Core] and [Essence Restitute].

Like an asteroid field in space, a white cloud of wild energy fluctuated around a similar, smaller white ball that orbited the furthest from the central twin stars.

'Alright, time to work...' He muttered, floating over.
