Chapter 175: Chapter 70: Daphne Returns

Daphne’s tears were rolling down her cheek into Rin’s shirt. Rin then started to slowly pat her head to calm her down. Daphne slowly started to stop crying but would not let go.

Lily then rushed up to the two of them. She had a small pout on her face. She then stood on her toes trying to get as tall as she could and slightly tilted her head down. Rin could only smile at her attempt. He then raised his other hand and patted Lily’s head. Lily’s face then bloomed into a smile.

After petting both of them for a few minutes, Daphne finally got out of his embrace. Her eyes are still red.

“Why the tears?” Rin asked. “Because of you,” Daphne said. “???” Rin could only look at Daphne with confusion. “I came back a few months ago and looked around for you due to the promise I made before but you weren’t anywhere so I looked for your lovers but they were gone too, so I asked the counselors where you would be but even they did not know where you were and this led to some panic,” Daphne started to explain. “So I started looking for you but I could not find you and I started to think something bad happened to you but I kept going hoping to find you,” Daphne finished. 

“I am sorry for worrying you for so long and I am happy you came,” Rin said as he hugged her tightly. Daphne melted into her arms as she waited for this for years. “I should have let you know I had left,” Rin said. “It is okay as long as I am here,” Daphne said as she hugged him even tighter. “Are you sure, you do know I have multiple lovers,” Rin told her. “I don’t care, I have loved you since the first time we met and Ihad waited for years for you to grow up,” Daphne said. Rin smiles as he pulls her in and kisses her on the lips. Daphne could not help but melt with happiness during the kiss.

“I am glad I got such a beautiful dryad to fall in love with me,” Rin said with a caring smile. Daphne just blushed and stayed inside his arms. Though she was soon interrupted by a tapping on her leg. She looked down to see Lily holding Sparky in her arms.

Lily, seeing she got the attention of both Rin and Daphne, showed them both Sparky. “Daddy, can keep?”  Lily said asking if she can keep Sparky as a pet. ‘A hellhound pup huh’ Rin thought. “Will you take care of it when it is hungry, sleepy, needs to use the bathroom, and when it needs a bath?’ Rin asked. Lily at first had to think about everything Rin said but resolutely nodded her head. Rin smiled before summoning a red collar with a golden tag with the name “Sparky” engraved on it.

Rin then took both of them to the rest of the family. Daphne was quickly accepted by them especially by Clara as she also had fallen in love at first sight. They all then went and walked around the camp as quite a few things have changed in the camp.
