Outside the window, snowflakes slowly fell. Inside, a vase with a few stems of red plum blossoms sat on the coffee table, looking elegant and pleasant.
Yu Gangan packed her medicine chest and muttered, “I don’t like this kind of convenience.”
“Then, can you help me with something else?”
“What?” Yu Gangan asked subconsciously.
“My body feels uncomfortable.”
Yu Gangan looked blankly at the man, “…”
“I stink of medicine.”
Yu Gangan: “…”
She didn’t understand what the man wanted.
Fang Zhihan rubbed his finger across her lips ambiguously, “I haven’t bathed since I got injured. As my girlfriend, can’t you help me?”
Yu Gangan’s face immediately turned red like a cooked shrimp and the redness slowly spread to her ears and neck, “What are you saying?”
She immediately declined, “No, how’s that possible?”
“Aren’t you my girlfriend? If you don’t help me at a time like this, who will help me?” Fang Zhihan asked.
He seemed to be making a reasonable point, but it felt a little strange and inappropriate. Yu Gangan hesitated and stuttered angrily, “Don’t even think about it. I’m not bathing you.”
Fang Zhihan’s dark eyes blinked and he said innocently, “I simply want you to fill the bathtub for me. What are you thinking?”
Yu Gangan: “…”
Just filling the bath? Fang Zhihan had misled her. Yu Gangan was both embarrassed and angry as she glared unhappily at the man. She then stood up and entered the bathroom.
When Fang Zhihan finished his bath and came out, Yu Gangan was lying on the sofa reading a book. Drying his hair with one hand, he sat down beside her.

The two were very close. The freshly bathed man had a clean and pleasant smell.
It wasn’t convenient to dry his hair with one hand, so Yu Gangan stood up, took the towel out of his hand and helped him. Afterwards, she pulled out a hair dryer to blow dry it.
As his black strands of hair slipped through her fingers, Yu Gangan felt her palms tingle. The tingles traveled up her veins to her extremities and finally stopped at her heart, causing it to race.
The man’s bathrobe opened slightly, revealing a portion of his strong, sexy chest, making him look particularly seductive.
From this close distance, Yu Gangan noticed a scar on an inconspicuous part of Fang Zhihan’s chest.
It appeared as though he had been cut by a dagger. But, it happened a long time ago so the scar looked almost like normal skin. If one didn’t look carefully, it was practically invisible.
Yu Gangan assumed it was left from the time he was a soldier.
So, she casually asked, “Does it hurt?”
Fang Zhihan brushed her nose, “It’s been many years. How could it still hurt?”
“I mean, did it hurt when you were stabbed?” Yu Gangan corrected.
“I’m not sure.”
“Huh?”
“I had no time to think about whether it hurt or not.”
Fang Zhihan appeared as though he didn’t want to talk about the history of the wound. He looked at Yu Gangan with his dark eyes, suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist, and kissed her lips.
After quite some time, Yu Gangan stared at him shyly and said, “An injured person should be careful.”
“I want to eat fish,” Fang Zhihan said seriously.
“Are you sure?”
Fang Zhihan raised an eyebrow, “…”
Yu Gangan smiled sweetly and replied, “Then, I’ll let you eat fish until you’ve had enough.”
One hour later, a dozen or so takeaway bags sat on the dining table, filled with fish cooked in all different ways.
Yu Gangan waved cheekily at Fang Zhihan, “Come, have some fish.”
Fang Zhihan: “…”
