“The wielder of the blade of Emner is on her way and you people are arguing!?” screamed Jim.
That was something I didn’t know. The reason I had come here was to make sure that everyone was ready to leave at moment’s notice as I was the leader of the soldiers that had been given to me by the king of this land.
We had to prepare the manor for this guest. One thing I remembered was that this was not an elven manor but an English one. This was a place for guests to stay be them diplomatic or military.
“Who is this wielder?” I asked.
“The messenger said she wanted to keep it a secret for when she meets the heroes from another world,” responded Jim.
“OK, so is the room they will be staying at prepared?” asked Hera.
“Yes, you all just need to make sure your ready as they will be here in apparently 5 hours,” said Jim.
We all gawked at this info. Then as if to mock us another messenger came forward and said:
“She’s here”
Aisling’s POV
I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the manor as I had expected a tree house. The Wirewood was a large forest. With thousands of people staying there. The current place the summoned heroes were staying at was built by humans for beastkin and humans to stay.
The walls had vines running up the sides and the old plaster covering the brick walls looked rustic. The wooden tiled roof was dry and black. There were multiple tall chimneys coming from the tilted roof. The buildings I had grown up with were different. They had thatch roofs. And they had been made out of mud and clay.
This building was old and grey. The plaster being made from cement (IDK anything about plaster.) as I walked with Gorn by my side I wondered about his thoughts on the construction of this building. I had learned something about him a while back.
Gorn wasn’t smart.
He had good intentions sure, but he wasn’t too smart when it came to anything that wasn’t killing or fighting and marshal techniques.

Now Ornsin, he was smart.
And he was afraid of me.
“That was understandable” I thought as I looked to my right. There stood a man made of flesh, fungus, and wood. With each step he took creaking and squishing came. He was a “life given” as Emner had called him. They were the bodies of those I killed with him.
The one standing at my right was the only one to develop a mind of his own. His name was Gary. That was the closest thing to the first words he spoke. All the life given spoke the old tongue as they developed.
When we got to the front gate that was made out of living plant matter the elven Guard looked at us as if he had just seen a monster. He reached for the horn at his hip when I spoke up:
“I am the wielder of the blade of Emner, and to my left is Gorn the summoned hero of Germany, then to my right is Gary, my subordinate,”
“Oh, ok,” he stuttered as he opened the gates for us.
He then rung a bell tied next to the gate and I heard running from the other side of the gate. Then I looked behind him and saw a retinue of soldiers. The soldiers looked to be headed by a woman I didn’t recognize…
Wait…
Was that Ariel???
My darling little sister… she had grown up so much. I had to hold back tears as a man came in, picking me up in his arms. I recognized those arms. They had been the ones that had picked me up countless times when I was young.
“AISLING, my darling little Aisling. I missed you so much. When I heard about your mother. When I heard about your sister,” cried my father.
Yes, it was my father. I was more surprised than anything to see my father here. Of course, my sister from my past life was here but from what I heard from Gorn I kind of guessed it. My father being here was a different story.
“Hi dad, I did not expect you to be here. Could you let me go now?” I asked.
