When we got to the place that we had set up the trap we saw a great battle ensuing. Said trap was just to stop their march and hold the line so that we could come I behind. But they had set up actual traps like, pitfalls, tripwires that released rocks from the treetops, and many more.

As we got there, I noticed a tall Frenchman cutting men down left and right. He looked to be about 6ft 4in tall. He had black hair and a short beard. In one hand he held a saber in the other he held an elven sword he had grabbed from the ground.

As we neared, he saw us and pointed with his saber. The other solders looked, and despair filled their faces. But the tall man simply laughed. He beckoned us over and our lines collided. Both armies bathing the ground in blood. With each man on our side that was killed another 10 was killed on theirs.

I soon came face to face with the Francian. He then did a double take and shook with laughter.

“You’re that beast that father warned me about. You’re that beast that got away from the island,” he bellowed.

          “?”

Seeing the confusion on my face he stood up even taller, his back straightening. Then he introduced himself:

“I am the grandson of the king of Francia, Daxius.”
