Chapter 3: 03: The Capsules

After exactly one week, on Sunday, we have received the delivery. It probably was intentional to delay it as much as possible, while still abiding to what she said.

But we have it now.

The workers placed a large box near an empty socket, opened the box from the side and pulled the contents outside.

The capsule's bottom half was silver, while the upper half was clear glass. Between the glass and silver was a line of gold separating the two.

The worker then quickly made the capsule lean on the wall, with a flat bottom and top, it was stuck in place.

The same went for the second capsule.

I thanked the worker who then quickly exited the house, perhaps knowing we would like to instantly use them.

"Ren, can you help me into the capsule please?"

The girl with black hair and blue eyes, Rena, nodded.

She and I were both too short for our current age. Our growth has slowed down by a lot because of our diseases.

We are going to be lolies, aren't we? *Sigh*.

Rena carefully lifted me and placed me in the capsule. Read about how to activate the capsule and placed the headgear on me. Lastly, she turned on her text to speech app and said "Wait for me".

Rena then pressed a button on the headgear and activated it. Sending my body to sleep while my mind was still awake.

 

 

 

I opened my eyes to a completely blue world, with the occasional light blue boxes appearing and disappearing from my sight.

"Greetings user, I am the Support AI for the handling and registering of Capsules." A feminine voice echoed through the endless blue void as the owner of the voice, a maid, appeared in front of me.

"Would you like to register your password as your brainwaves or a normal alphanumeric password? This can be changed at any time." The maid asked.

The difference is between the two is that a brainwave password does not allow anyone aside from its owner to use the Capsule. While an alphanumeric password can be shared to trusted people if you want them to be able to use your Capsule for some reason.

"Brainwave password." I answered.

"Analyzing brainwaves... analysis complete. Setting brainwaves as the password... Done!"

"Lastly, how may I address you?" The maid asked.

Capsules use UID (User ID) to differentiate between users, therefore, a name can be repeated infinitely.

"Alice."

"Understood, Lady Alice. With the registration complete, what would you like to do? You can:

1. Install an app or game.
2. Create your own virtual space.
3. Manage your account settings."

First off, I want to download a game I thought of playing for a really long time.

The name of the game is The World of Yggdrasil, or TWY for short.

This game was set to release tomorrow, but you can pre-purchase it from a long time ago. The game basically allows you to live a second life somewhere else. A fantasy life, where magic, dragons, elves, and a lot more is present. It costs 60UC, but it is definitely worth it. That was why I purchased it and started downloading it instantly.
