It was evening, last rays of the dusk was touching the ground through the clouds. It was about to rain, the dark ominous clouds were gathering. A storm was brewing. In the lands below, temperature was dropping fast, surrounding air had started to freeze, a small silhouette of a man was seen hugging a dead body, barely recognizable. It was ravaged beyond means. The man was impaled by a spear but he paid no attention to that, he was mourning, his voice was echoing all around the vast lands-

AAHHH, NOOO

"Wake up, I said wake up Morgana. How can you leave me like this, you promised, didn't you then why? You can't do this to me, you can't. You can't leave me alone."

Then he heard the sounds of closing footsteps getting clearer and clearer. He suddenly felt a pulling force on the impaled spear, he turned his head around, there was a large crowd gathering. He thought finally someone will help him but all he can see in crowd's eyes was fear, greed, hesitation, anger and relief. The man finally closed his eyes.

In the night sky a crimson moon was hung mid-air that illuminated a small settlement or what left of it. There was fire everywhere, broken houses, pathways littered with corpses. It was chaos, pure chaos. A man was walking leisurely with his hands drenched in crimson blood, the whole settlement was dyed in crimson, surrounding trees was blowing back and forth by the strong winds, heavy thunderstorm went on as well as if the Nature was mourning, whether it was sad or angry nobody knew, but He was smiling.

Mark wake up with the sound of alarm clock, he was drenched in sweat, he was having the same nightmare again. It was 7 o'clock in the morning. He get out of bed, he was in a large room full of pictures hung around the wall, some of them was portraits of a women in her late 20's having auburn colour hair deep violet eyes, cherry sweet lips and cheerful outlook, seems like he painted her every portrait himself. In the far left corner of the room there was a half-finished painting of the same women and various painting and colouring tools, this room was neat, clean and orderly like the person living in it would have OCD. There was a door to the right which leads to the balcony.

He went out of the room and walked into the corridor which consisted of several doors each leading to a separate bedrooms, there were two set of early European suit of armour standing at each side of the doors. He went a few feet ahead and opened a door which lead to a European style washroom, he went inside to freshen up. He's 6'2'' Ft tall with brown hair and hazel blue eye, having a well toned body. There was a-dazzle with wonder over a friendly smile on his face, he had a devil-may-care outlook. He just turned 17.

He came out of the washroom and went back to his bedroom to get changed, he was wearing a dark slim fit jeans with white T-shirt and a grey jacket, while changing he heard a knock on the door, his butler John Albertine came in with breakfast. John's 6 feet tall in his early 40's with brown hair and brown eyes having average appearance, He looks strong and healthy and wearing a traditional butler uniform consisting white shirt, black trouser, a tie, a black jacket and a black blazer. He comes from a long line of Albertine family that served him.

"Good Morning, Sir. The Breakfast is ready."

"Yes, put in on the table"

"Anything else you need sir?"

"Yes, tell Charles to get the Plymouth ready. I think it would suit the occasion."

"Yes sir"

I was transferred to Mystic Falls High School away from the suburbs and city life. While eating breakfast which consisted of eggs with toast and orange juice I turned on the TV and tuned it to a local broadcasting channel it was playing a news about two teenagers being dead by animal attack.

"I guess someone is not keeping a low profile huh"

I turned off the TV and went downstairs, it was a large living room consisted of a large table in the centre with 6 chairs stacked to its side there was some portraits and painting hung on the walls, there was a large European style chandelier hung right above the table, being one of the founding family members of this small town I do own a lot of properties in this town, the mansion I'm residing being one of them. I went outside and there it was a 1970 black Plymouth Barracuda parked right outside the front gate. It was a sunny day with clear sky as broadcasted in the TV. I drove up to school. I parked my car and walked towards the building, it was a standard school building consisting of two floors painted in brown with red stripes, there was a huge banner with 'Go Timberwolves' written, hung right in front of the building.

"How many times it had been, I guess this time would be different, I've a feeling this time would be more fun"

I chuckled and went inside. It was a building full of teenager as it should be, I heard various conversations some dull and boring and some interesting one as I went towards the class I witnessed something very interesting, a 5'6" feet girl, brown chest length hair talking to one of her acquaintance standing at the end of hallway.

"I guess this place is not so much boring after all"

I went up to her and gently tapped on her shoulder to get her attention.

"zdravei katherina, it's been a while"

I said to her but noticing the sudden perplexity on her face I guess either I'm wrong or this is not the place for introduction so I apologized.

"Sorry, I thought you were someone else, you bare quite a matching resemblance to my friend and being new here I kinda got confused, by the way I'm Mark Anderson"

I can see the situation cooling down, her perplexed look vanished she smiled and introduced herself

"I'm Elena Gilbert, nice to meet you and this is my friend Bonnie"

I smiled and nod my head towards Bonnie, she's 5'2" feet with dark hair and green eyes but hearing something Elena rushed towards the washroom, me and Bonnie both witnessed her entering Men's room, I turned towards Bonnie, smiled and said

"It's getting late, would you be kind enough to point the directions towards the history class"

She smiled, points forwards and said "Go straight, second left and it'll be on your left"

I said "Thank You" and starts walking towards the class but suddenly sense someone's staring at me I turned around and see a teenager 5'11" feet, muscular build, brown hair, Forest green eyes wearing black jeans pant, black leather jacket and dark sunglasses. I matched his gaze, smiled and winked at him to which he seemed shocked, I turned around and kept walking to the class and thought 'I was so wrong, this town isn't boring at all not one but two doppelganger and one being a vampire, this is gonna be so much fun'. I entered a class written 'History' on blackboard and take backside seat and waited for the class to start.
