"No bueno?"

"What kind of language is this crazy speaking in?"

Standing there, I watched as the damned buggers looked at each other with confused expressions on their faces, as I continued to speak only in Spanish, with their leader looking like she wanted to ram her face into a wall.

"Whatever! Let's just kill him!"

Taking the initiative, the leader threw her body at me, wanting to get rid of this annoyance to her as quickly as possible.

"Puta estúpida" (A/N: Fucking stupid bitch.)

Muttering this under my breath whilst shaking my head in disappointment, I sidestepped her and stabbed my shoddy knife into her side, puncturing her lungs as she literally "lost her breath" and fell to the floor, dying slowly, as she slowly suffocated.

"¿Alguien más?" (A/N: Anybody else?)

I guess I was a little scary or something, because, as soon as my voice sounded out, they all fell out of their stupor and ran away from me.

'Ah, I shouldn't let them get away. I need their money after all, no matter how little they are worth, as they definitely aren't worth much.'

Needless to say, what followed after was a mindless massacre.

...

"Sigh..."

If you couldn't tell by the fact that I was practicing my Spanish skills, which I had no fucking need for in this world, I was immensely bored.

The literal only thing keeping me going was the possibility of completely screwing over my "dad".

Sure, they were powerful motivators, but, now that I was at this point, I honestly just wanted to get out of this fucking maze and go see the smiles of the children again.

I mean, I hadn't even come across a single martial artist or mage yet!

They were probably the only ones that could give me a real thrill in my life at this point, as the traps were basically useless against me now, but it seemed like none of the people dropped in this maze were actually that high up in society.

Well, the person that had been the "protagonist" of this maze arc had been a mage, but then again, they could be dead by now.

'Is this maze even a challenge to me at this point?'

'Wait, maybe I can just start to build up my mental fortitude!'

Honestly, this idea was extremely unappealing, but what else could I change or grow, stuck in an "endless" maze whilst being subjected to this infernal heat of being in a volcanic like simulation at all times?

"Plop!"

Like the above sound, I plopped down onto the ground, sitting in a meditating pose, with my legs crisscrossed and everything, as I tried to replicate what I had seen, or well, seen pictures of on the internet back on Earth.

'Inner peace... inner peace... inner peace...'

I slowly felt myself drift off into the land of my own subconscious I guess, as I felt my heart rate continue to fall as my breathing eased up.

I was literally just copying what I had heard people say about those monks that lived high in the Tibetan Mountains.

'Ahh... fuck this.'

Suddenly standing back up, I looked up to the sky, towards the imaginary people there who were watching me.

"You guys got anything fun for me? Come on, can't one of you buy an orc king to come at me or something? I'm so damned bored!"

"..."

"Nothing, really? And here I was thinking that you guys had at least some money to spare, seeing how all the others are dying from the infernal amount of traps y'all have laid down."

"..."

Welp, seems like they won't even cave in a little bit to my provocations.

Sure, this meant that there was a lesser chance of death for me, but then again, an amount of boredom as large as the amount I was facing right now would probably drive most people to committing suicide.

In other words, I was desperate here.

"Alright, if I win, whoever paid for the monster to come at me will be given double what they paid for the first monster only."

This statement was both simple, and a little bit profound at the same time if one looked at it closely.

Basically, I was drawing the big shots in, enticing them with the idea of earning money, which was an even bigger puller than breaking even, whilst also ensuring that I wouldn't be yanked out of my pockets if one of them decided to send 500 goblins at me or something.

For me, this also ensured that I would get to face up against a pretty dangerous monster, and it would also make it so that they would be more willing to pay for me to fight against even more monsters in the future after getting a taste of one of my performances.

It was like the free samples at a grocery story, my performance fighting was the sample, the vendor was myself, and the clients were the watchers.

'Come on!'

Looking around, and seeing that nothing had spawned yet, I was honestly doubting the bloodthirsty nature of the watchers.

"ROOOOAAAAARRRRRR!"

'Ah, one of them came through!'

"Thank you so much to whoever did it! Whenever I come out of the dungeon, be sure to come up to me with the receipt of your purchase and I'll pay you double the amount! Once again, thank you for your patronage!"

Speaking like a freaking vtuber, I bowed my head a few times to no one in particular before turning towards the monster.

'An ice wyrm I see, welp, no biggie.'

Shrugging my shoulder, I nonchalantly meandered my way towards the towering dragon-like beast, its breath freezing the air around it as it roared once more into my face.

Closing my eyes due to the amount of spit that was flying out, I felt my hair being pulled back by the sheer force of the damned monster's roar.

Opening my eyes, I realized that I had actually started bleeding, as what I had thought was spit had turned into ice as it flew towards me, cutting little gashes here and there into my skin.

'Come at me, you damned lizard!'

Thinking this, I smiled, before laughing into the frost, frigid air that had suddenly descended onto this hellish landscape.

'Hot and cold, who will come out on top?'

"Angel: I am fire." I muttered.

The gleam in my eyes was certainly dangerous in it of itself.
